When Dr Rotman moved to concierge medicine I didn't even have to think twice about moving with him to his new practice. He's been my primary physician since. It's not that he's just a great physician, he's the best. I have four MDs in my family and he is a physician just like I remember my dad being. Everyone that works in his office are friendly, helpful and I love that I can always rely on them. These days being able to reach your doc after hours is not an option, unless this is your physician. When I have surgery my specialists are happy to be working with him. He gets all my blood work, EKG and pre surgical test done before I even have a surgery date. If your looking for a physician to help you take care of yourself look no further.

What he doesn't have solutions for off the top of his head, he researches and finds a regimen that works! He is understanding and his demeanor is such that he can calm me down when I'm having new issues. Though he is a consierge physician, he's worth whatever he charges though I realize that that is an observation based upon my circumstances. Not only has he assuaged the feelings of the aftermaths of "anxiety producing" medical issues that I've lived with for more than 40 years, but he is available 24/7 though as accessible as he is I limit my calls to problems which warrant a call. In all these years, I've perhaps called after office hours five times, and the first thing he does is "calm me down" just by his caring manner. I don't want to go overboard, but I never expected to live to be 78, and I attribute that in large measure to his care. P.S. His staff is excellent, and kudos to Nicole, his office manager, who can flawlessly take blood like a member of Dracula's tenth generation! Ethan W.

They always took in appointments quickly, were on time, did a great job and I've praised him to many people - even my sister was with him for a few years. Then he decided to dump all his patients...or was it just me? I don't know. He sent a referral to another doctor, who you could not get on the phone - called the guy 20 times, never answered (you can see my review of that guy too). So here we are over three years later and I can't find a reliable doctor. I'm about to get my third doctor since. I absolutely hate it. I spend hours trying to find a reliable doctor - first guy I liked a lot but could not get him on the phone or email. Dropped him - went to the next guy, also great doctor but office has tons of issues. Done with him too. Now I'm looking again. And I trust no doctor and never will again after this. Who dumps all their patients just like that? And then refers to them to the worst doctor ever? I don't see any recent reviews for him so I don't know, all I know is this is not a trustworthy guy - you don't want to put your time in with this guy and then have him dump you out of the blue.

His office told me that Paul Kim was his backup, so I made an appointment. I did not see Dr. Kim, I saw a physician's assistant. She talked to me for less than 5 minutes and wrote a prescription for me. I then received a bill in the mail for $369! I've tried calling several times and so did an advocate from Aetna. I finally reached someone and they said they would look into it and get back to me, but that was over a month ago. They were happy to talk to me and get me to come into the office, but now this and I can't get anywhere. What a scam!!

Norman J Rosen, MD - On hold for nearly 20 mins to make an appointment, so eventually hung up.

I saw him periodically and had samples taken, and no cancer. After a while the growth was getting larger and I asked if it could be removed and he said it wasn't necessary. Maybe not, but it was definitely very noticeable so I decided to see another Endocrinologist as I was told by my PCP that Rosen was getting older and close to retiring. I did see another Endocrinologist who told me not only was the growth growing larger but there was a second growth on the other side of the thyroid (which Rosen had never noticed) and the new Endocrinologist referred me to a surgeon. I made a final appointment with Rosen to tell him I'd got a second opinion, and how come he'd never seen the second growth. He became very angry saying if I wanted to take things further then to go ahead, and he then proceeded to tell me his daughter was a lawyer! I couldn't believe his attitude. My surgery went well although after both growths (plus the thyroid) were removed I had a lot of loose neck skin, so I probably could have sued Rosen but by then I never wanted to see him again. I was very surprised to hear that Rosen is still practicing as I thought he would have retired many years ago. Please, if you feel something is not quite right with his diagnosis, get a second opinion

10/1/19 @1100 This…read morereview is pertaining to my experience with the front staff. I was placed on hold 4 times, in addition, I was asked to repeat statements multiple times and to spell out terms. I was asked why I was referred to the office; I told the female personnel that was on the phone that I had Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I had to spell out Hashimoto 3 times. I understand that the front staff does not have medical degrees, however, they should be familiar with basic medical terminology and disease states. She also asked for the spelling of all of my medications. If you work in an endocrinology specialty office, you should know the names of common thyroid medications, such as Levoxyl. I had to spell out Levoxyl twice. Also, your office should easily have access to Uptodate or Lexicomp to verify the spelling of medication names and disease states. I know I am being more critical since I am a pharmacist, but most patients do not have medical backgrounds and cannot give the proper spelling and explanation of the medications they are on. It is the medical office staff's job to know these things to better help the patient. I have been on hold for almost 20 minutes and have decided to hang up and call another office. I am in the John Muir network and my records could have easily been accessed through Epic. I wad able to contact another provider and make an appointment within 6 minutes. I did not have to provide insurance, personal, contact info or current medications because this office actually took the time to look it up in Epic.

On this program, I feel great and I get to deal head-on with my issues that lead me to use food in an addictive way. The staff seems a little road wary as I believe they have to shuffle through a lot of people and perhaps have been doing their jobs for years, but if you can ignore that part and focus on the facts and information -- you will find yourself feeling great, losing weight, and getting the ability to explore the food addiction. update 4/5/10: I left this program after losing alot of weight. Unfortunately, as my needs became more in the area of consultation and support, the program is lacking. The staff is burnt out it seems. If you don't have needs for an energetic staff...then this will work well for you. Dr. Kamrath seems to not be as involved except for when you get your blood work done.

Dr Kamrath is extraordinarily caring, respectful and intelligent. Of all the doctors I've had (at 56, I'm in basically good health but have had some issues needing attention) he takes more time to talk to me during my visits. I trust his judgment and never feel rushed during my visits. I am confident that if I had to face a serious illness, he would be a concerned advocate ensuring I got the right care from specialists. I think his practice may be full so that he may not be accepting new patients. But I would encourage people to get on a wait list (if this exists).
