I went for my first appointment and found that the two office staff were not wearing masks over their nose and mouth. One of them stated that she was the manager. When I said that I was confused by their lack of concern for my health, she sited Governor Desantis' beliefs on the issue. She said that if I didn't feel comfortable, I should find a different dentist. I will. Addendum. The owner of Cornerstone Dental responded to me via email about my criticism. He defended his policies as being consistent with state and local guidelines as well as OHSA Universal Precautions. He did not acknowledge that his policies do not follow the latest CDC guidelines, nor did he thank me for expressing my concerns or apologize. read more

I had $5000 worth of work done at Cornerstone and throughout the whole process there were problems. From the very beginning my parents were promised a significant discount if my entire family came to this dentist. They got 4 new patients and later reneged their promise for the discount. Had we known they wouldn't follow through, we would have gotten the work done elsewhere. I wish we did! They knew I had a tight window to get the work completed because I was moving and they still couldn't get it all done on time. They tried to blame their lab but they never rushed the construction of the veneer/crown according to the lab. I remember waiting in the chair for hours at a time each time I came in because they were understaffed. One time a temporary crown fell off on the way home because it wasn't adhered correctly and I had to go back in for ANOTHER hour and wait for the doctor to come in, put some glue on the crown and hold it to my mouth for a minute. When we thought it would all be over, their lab got the color wrong on a veneer and a replacement had to be mailed to me in another state and put on by another dentist. That one broke. Looks like they're using a GREAT lab. The next one the lab sent was the wrong color AGAIN. I had to have three veneers ground off, countless shots of Novocain and prolonged pain and sensitivity because they just couldn't get it RIGHT. Finally, they had the audacity to send the bill to collections without notifying my parents (who was the financially responsible party for the 2 years process) that there was any money due. After disputing the bill they wanted the full amount for "services rendered" They wanted almost $900 for something they couldn't do right FOUR times. There are so many fields where if the product or service is not delivered in the manner promised, you get a discount. But at Cornerstone Dental you do NOT get what you paid for. All they care about is getting your money and could care less if you are happy with the shoddy quality of work that they produce. The only think they don't mess up there is cleanings, so if you have any serious dental work needed, heed my warning and go elsewhere! read more

I'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. I went to Cornerstone Dental from a Groupon I purchased and was really pleased. My family and I were truly impressed at how modern the office was, how friendly the staff was, and how professional the dentist was. I was not pressured into any services other than what I discussed as options with my dentist. They gave very detailed explanations and were very accommodating with my scheduling needs (I have several other medical issues that make my schedule very difficult to plan). They had WiFi while I was waiting in the front (which was only a short period), a modern TV in my room, and a very comfortable atmosphere overall...especially for nervous dentist-phobes like me. My hygenist noticed that I was nervous but was so friendly that she put me at ease. Again, I'm not sure why the reviews I read prior to coming to this place were so negative, because that was the TOTAL opposite if what I experienced. I think that the prior negative reviews were really unfair. read more

Very poor experience with Cornerstone where the Practice wants to charge much more than quoted and hid behind the guise of "estimates". Nothing more than a shakedown for more money when a procedure if half way completed. We payed the full amount quoted prior to having the process completed (at their request). They are indicating that our insurance is now maxed for the year and they need more self pay!! Very poor policy in my opinion and further the belief that these chain practices are no more than snake oil salesman. read more

I had an appointment last week as a new patient. Everyone in the office was nice. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months and don't have any issues. I take great care of my teeth and get compliments all the time. I was told at my visit I need 4 fillings and 3 crowns and a CT scan at an Endodontist if my bottom front teeth. There is no way they can be for real saying I need thousands of dollars worth of dental work all of sudden. I went and got a second opinion the other dentist discussed what they were talking about with me and said I need a cleaning that's it. The stuff cornerstone mentioned does not need any work right now and might not ever need work. He said he will keep an eye on everything and if things change or I have any pain or sensitivity then he would discuss doing something. He doesn't believe in doing dental work that is not necessary. I do not recommend cornerstone dental they only want your money. I should have went by the bad reviews I have seen in several places and not bothered to come into your office. I love the new dentist I am with and my teeth are perfect no dental work needed. read more

This office extra bills everytime. They changed dentists without letting their patients know. They booked an appointment without my approval for 3 months after a cleaning had already been performed. When I emailed in response to why they were comfirming an appointment that I wasn't aware of they never called and spoke to me. Their response is if I don't care about my dental hygiene then they will charge me for a missed appointment fee! What! This was from the dentist herself. I spent over $1000 out of pocket in this office last year and was treated like that. read more

Dr. Mcguire is a great dentist and the staff is super friendly! They seem to really know what they are doing and were helpful in explaining things in a way I could understand. Glad to finally have a dentist I trust. read more

The cleaning was great. But front desk and management are very rude. I repurchase a groupon and even told them upon calling that I had a groupon, no one mentioned I could not use it twice. Upon checking out I was told I couldn't use my groupon and I would also be charged a 25 missed appointment fee. No apologies for the confusion either. Never going back. Good customer service goes a long way...something cornerstone doesn't understand at all. read more

I went to Cornerstone Dental and needed extensive work done in my mouth. My family in another state was helping pay the bill that was left after dental insurance paid their portion. I had all my teeth pulled and was fitted for temporary dentures. I had all kinds of problems from that point on. Once the dentures were fitted they would not stay in my mouth. They would come out when I was eating, and I had to start using adhesives. Adhesives do not keep the dentures firmly in your mouth. I had problems chewing my food and keeping my dentures in my mouth. I went back to cornerstone and told them of these problems. They told me after my mouth healed for 6 months they could do implants which cost an exorbitant $5000 a piece. To keep the dentures in my mouth I'd need four implants for $20,000. Who has that kind of money? The teeth do not stay in even when used with adhesives. I still can't chew hard foods and find it difficult to eat anything at all. At that point I left to go to another dentist. The dentures made me look like I had buck teeth. When I complained they said they'd fix it when they made the permanent dentures. The office staff fakes kindness even if their words don't match their actions. I would highly recommend staying far away from this dentist if you need extensive work done in your mouth. None of this was told to me up front. I found out everything after my teeth were all pulled. Now I'm stuck with the results of their shoddy dental work. They decided part way through to change my dentist without my permission or consent. I find their practices unacceptable and unprofessional. I can't express enough how dissatisfied I was with the experience. Stay far away. read more

Jose is incompetent, arrogant and bad for business. They charge you for every office visit after they already quoted you an inclusive price for treatment. Dr. Franklin's bedside manner is rude and unfriendly. Their prices are exorbitant and some of the staff there are improperly trained. Plenty of competition in the area as alternatives. ONLY, Dr. Hedger is recommended at this dental office. read more

Had a chipped tooth and no insurance. Was extremely nervous and stressed. From the time I walked in to the time I left I was at ease. The entire staff was so friendly. I can't wait to have my dental insurance clear and go back. read more

Great Dentist. She is personable and good at what she does. The office is also very nice, where you can even watch Netflix while you get your cleaning done. Go get your teeth cleaned people. read more

Totally fake kindness from Jose, they care little about your needs. I sent 3 emails yesterday and of course no response. I had off today and tomorrow to get some work done and I asked if I could pay half today and half on Friday, and the answer was of course "NO" He said "We don't do loans" I wasn't asking for a loan. I've been in pain for almost 2 weeks and they don't give a shit. If I could get credit I would, but I can't. When I went to the office for my first visit they removed my partial without putting it in water or mouthwash. They don't care and the comment we treat everyone like family is complete bullshit. I do not recommend anyone visit their clinic. read more

This place is a horrible scam. I went in there and they tried to convince me that I needed a special cleaning and charge me $500 when I knew I did it because I take excellent care of my teeth. Also they even admitted that I had zero cavities, so I felt like because they couldn't get extra work on trying to repair a cavity they thought they could do it by charging me an insane amount to clean my teeth. So I told them no thank you and went to a different dentist where they agreed that my teeth were in excellent shape and only needed a routine regular cleaning. The lady who saw me her name was Melissa at cornerstone dental and she was absolutely rude and insulting. Very unprofessional. They are liars, and scam artist, and only care about how much money they think they can trick you into paying read more

This is a great office. Everyone is willing to work with you. I don't know any other offices around here that are half as nice as these people are. My only problem is my insurance that most dentists don't take and this office doesn't either. I wish they did. But the doctor was great she was very willing to work with me. read more
