They refuse to do them stating the periodontist will not allow them and that I must have their perio-cleanings 4 times per year at my expense. I had thought that we worked it out that i would use my two included cleanings and pay for 2 perio-cleanings but at my appointment today I was told the peeiodontist would not allow it and I had to pay or leave. I left i dont understand how doing nothing is better. Apparantly the periodontist doesn't get a cut of standard cleanings. I find this sad because I really do appreciate Val. I would liken this to taking your new vehicle in for an included oil change and the dealership refusing to do it unless you pay out of pocket for all of their other recommendations. This is wrong and NOT in the best interest of the patient. I will find a new dental practice that focuses on my needs and budget not on what makes a Periodontist that I dont ever see more money.

When I came home to Florida, none of my usual dentists wanted my case. My GP recommended I see Dr Mehta. Now, I live in St Pete, so Palm Harbor is a bit far, but Dr Mehta worked with me for a month on a series of temporaries before casting a softer gold crown, which I've now had for two years. So my loyalty was certainly earned, but honestly the hygienists here also just do a great job for regular checkups and cleanings. Even without bleaching my teeth always look much whiter after a cleaning here than from anywhere else. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a highly skilled and trustworthy dental practice.

The difference is significant. In network coverage is 100 percent versus 50 percent out of network. I checked Google reviews and saw glowing feedback. I should have looked at Yelp to read more detailed reviews. As it turns out, only one dentist in the office was in network, not the one who actually worked on me. That led to a long back and forth with the insurance company and no reimbursement. They require you to pay upfront and then supposedly refund you after insurance pays them. I have never experienced that before. With all my medical doctors, I simply pay a copay and the practice collects directly from the insurance company. In my opinion, Prestige Dentistry operates with high pressure, predatory sales tactics and questionable billing practices. The office looks slick and modern, but the experience felt more like a timeshare hustle than a healthcare practice. They have you sign more forms than at a house closing and even try to sell you an extended warranty on their work. I initially went in for a cleaning, and my periodontist had already sent X rays taken a month earlier. That was not enough. They insisted on doing a 360 degree X ray. That imaging was then used to pitch nearly $9,000 worth of dental work. It took months to resolve the in network issue with Aetna. Now, months later, I am receiving a billing statement for $298 with no explanation or detailed breakdown for work that was supposedly completed and paid for months ago. I sent a letter to the office and to David C. Pielak, President of Golden Dental Associates, P.A., which is their legal name. I never received a response, and the statements continue to arrive. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was nice and friendly. Thankfully, I am back with my longtime family dentist. His office may not be slick or ultra modern, but he is sincere and honest.

I needed this implant, & Dr. Rosati was the best dentist to insert it. If I could do anything differently, I would have asked for at least one other opinion in regards to price. The cost was high for just the implant itself, not covered by insurance (the cost of the tooth was partially covered), and two other dentists were less costly. Would they have been better? Would Coastal Jaw have price matched? I don't know. I do know that without that tooth, I did not smile as much as before. I had to have it, and to me, Dr. Rosati was, and still is. the best dentist to do it. Now, I love to smile again. I appreciated that as he did a meticulous exam of my mouth and jaw, he explained what he was doing and why. Obviously it made me trust him more, but I learned some new interesting things! I've had a permanent retainer behind my bottom teeth for about 12 years now that most dentists have pretty much just cleaned and had nothing to say about it other than "you can keep that there forever" which I always thought was weird. Dr.K is the first doctor that recommends removing it to improve the maintenance of that area and switch to evening Invisalign retainers which makes more sense to me. He offered to refer me to an orthodontist and not only that, but he offered to smoothen out 3 minor chipped teeth at no cost! Don't judge a doctor by the look of the office! Great experience!

I researched every doctor in the area that hanged out a shingle to practice. I settled on Dr Ha Sedation and Family Practice in Palm Harbor, FL. What an amazing journey. From my first phone call to (Heather) to the lady who set up my program (Tracheala), the entire team...Dr Ha and Dr Mrs Ha, the entire staff front desk, and oral technicians...this was hands down the best experience I have ever had with any type of oral dentistry. These folks are outgoing, professional, personable and caring. Dr Ha was absolutely the best. We talked about golf. He never hurried through treatment. I was always on time and so was the doctor. Our rapport and his professional demeanor were top notch. I should also mention, his process and work ethic are more like art. Every detail was attended and every issue was addressed. Dr Ha removed multiple teeth, inserted implants as anchors for lower dentures and replaced all my uppers. I have never been happier. Their product is better than my original teeth. This "Team" is the best medical team I have ever encountered. I'm lucky. I get to go back now every four months to see them for maintenance. The technician took numerous X-rays and photos. I was then told that I needed a more extensive gingivitis/deep cleaning that would cost over $300, with the $98 I had already paid applied toward it. I declined and said I simply wanted the regular cleaning that was included in the advertised special. I was perfectly willing to listen to any recommendations from the dentist and decide afterward whether I wanted additional treatment. They refused to do the regular cleaning. That was the part I found so disappointing. I came in for the services that were advertised for $98, paid the $98, and expected those services to be provided. I ultimately left without having my teeth cleaned. Interestingly, later that same day I received two texts and a voicemail saying they had checked with the office manager and that it was now okay for me to come back and receive the regular cleaning. By then, I had no interest in returning. I was a chiropractor for more than 26 years and at times offered free examinations and/or X-rays to new patients. If that was what I advertised, that was what the patient received. If I recommended additional care, the patient could then decide whether to proceed. I don't have an issue with a dental office recommending additional treatment they believe is appropriate. I do have an issue with advertising a specific service, accepting payment for it, and then refusing to provide it unless the patient agrees to a more expensive service. I won't be returning.

Both my wife and I who are in our 60's wanted to have better looking (and functioning) teeth. My wife's 4 front teeth had heavy bonding for the last 40 years. Her bite was off from braces acquired 40 years ago; tooth color had also changed. My teeth were functional, but all different colors and sizes and pointing in different directions. We did not know where to go. We had consultations with several well known cosmetic dentists in California and NYC. What was recommended varied widely from braces to veneers to do nothing at all. We checked out the Strupp/Brumm website and the photo gallery was exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful and natural look. So we scheduled consultations for both of us. The Strupp/Brumm consultations were fairly extensive, lasting several hours. It was clear to Dr. Brumm that both of us would benefit from full dental reconstructions. My wife was skeptical. But I jumped in and made the appointments for myself. After the first treatment, my wife joined me. Dina was our coordinator and she did a fabulous job including scheduling, answering our many questions, and dental assisting. She is very professional with great personality. It was a joy to have her working on our case. Drs. Strupp and Brumm are not just great dentists, they are also very personable. The staff are professional and nice, making the long hours of dental work very pleasant. The beautiful spacious office and nearby Clearwater Beach are also pluses. Because of our extensive dental work we were very anxious but the staff and the Drs. make the visits very comfortable. They even served us lunch in the office! Last but not least we would like to mention Jim Free, the in-house ceramist at the office. He is an artist. He crafted our teeth in the in-house lab. He listened to us and worked with us throughout the whole process. At the last fitting, he made alterations on the spot to accommodate our final requests. According to Dr. Strupp, Jim was ranked 2nd in the International Championship Competition of ceramist technicians. To us he is #1. The final product was sets of teeth we could only dream of. One of these specialists discovered a cotton ball under an amalgam filling which was placed fifty years before and the tip of an explorer broken off in the canal of another endodontically treated tooth from eleven years ago (all the dentists between then and now missed these problems). This dental history shows the high-level care I experienced before arriving in this team's hands. Several all-day sessions spread over several months and my full mouth reconstruction is complete. Dr. Brumm and his chairside assistants are unmatched in their diligence, attention to detail, and skill. Behind the scenes were the lab personnel who managed to construct near perfect teeth which are indistinguishable from natural teeth in shape, color, spacing, and bite. They even accommodated for several teeth which were not aligned (straight) giving me the best bite possible. The color matches my complexion, completely unlike many smiles (blindingly white) seen in commercials on television. You know, the ones you have to wear sunglasses to look at If you are looking for the best quality for your dental needs, this is where you should visit. Complete disaster. First of all convinced me that what I asked for is not what I need for. Promised results were never achieved, despite he said that everything looks good now and we can continue to the next steps. During the Invisalign treatment one crown cracked. Failed to replace the crowns, after all the crown that he places damaged 4 other teeth. Said that goes on vacation for 2 weeks and disappeared for 6 weeks posting very questionable photos in his instagram (if I saw this earlier I would never choose his services) and then said that he spent time with the family. Probably I have a different understanding of the family. Imho this doctor should not practice dentistry at all. He is completely uncapable to deliver any kind of acceptable results despite confidently telling you that he will take care of you. Just see my teeth before and after. I spent ~6k, ~1k he returned and created damage for maybe 10k more. What else do you need to know? Front tooth implant fell out thanks to his crowns, which did not fit, but still offered me to install it without explaining consequences of such decision. I honestly writing this message and feel terrible that I trusted this doctor. I hope the Dental Board will review my complain and make a right decision. I do really wish this doctor won't treat anybody the way he treated me. Photos before (all teeth, posterior open bite) and after (-1 implant, posterior open bite, major/severe crack on canine, premolars, molars). After 8 months of complaints and going circles with the Customer Advocate Team I got dismissed by email from Dr. Dickerson who has never seen me in person but flipped the story the way he wanted, omitted and misrepresents the inconvenient facts for his narrative. This drs should not practice dentistry at all imho.
