So we showed up on Tuesday night and lo and behold it's Bingo Night! The 40-something in me rolled his eyes while the 8-year-old in me was marking off numbers like he was working out the formula for the perfect gummy bear. The 8-year-old won out on this night. The atmosphere was laid back and clean. There were regulars who obviously were known by name. Just a really cool feel, especially when it doesn't look like much from the outside. As for the food, I had the Southwest Smokehouse burger (don't quote me on the name). Dare I say it was as good or a better burger than a certain porcine-named drinking establishment down the street? The meat was well cooked and seasoned, with just enough condiments to add layers of flavor without leaving half of them on the plate after you're finished. The homemade chips were a little on the greasy side but still delicious. The service was prompt and friendly and the good arrived quickly. Food was great!! Today was the first time I've come here for lunch and wound up coming back for dinner. The only problem was the service. We were told they were backed up because to go orders. They have lost my business, when I come to your establishment and you make me sit for 30+ min to wait on my food while you make to go orders, I'm done. Stinks because the food was good. Stopped in for late (2pm) Sunday lunch. Sports Bar atmosphere with about a dozen TVs. Great service (granted, it wasn't crowded but it wasn't deserted either.) About two dozen beers on tap, plus wine and other drinks. Courteous waiter and bartender. Fried Shrimp Basket was just OK (this isn't a "seafood shop") - coating fell off, but it was fried correctly. Steamed Veggies were pretty limp - they appear to have sat for a while. Pit BBQ Sandwich was very good ... tender, moist, flavorful with plenty of smoke; served on toasted bun. Slaw on top - creamy and just the right amount for the sandwich. Turnip Greens were pretty simple (just one of about 13 sides.) Burgers looked really good--cooked to order. Will try one next time I stop by. Worth a visit. Kids' Menu has a nice selection of dishes and it's extra-reasonably priced by today's standards. read more

You wouldn't know it from the outside but this place is outstanding! I had the ribeye, my wife had the chopped steak and my mother in law had the fried chicken. Everything was fantastic!! I'm a sucker for a great meat and veggie place. We've been here for supper once and I order take out for lunch frequently. I cannot bring myself to order anything but the meat and vegetables even though they have many other options. The country fried chicken and gravy is delicious southern comfort. The meatloaf and chopped steak with onions and mushrooms are equally amazing. It all depends on my mood but everything is wonderful. My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and corn but they are all good. The pub atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The perfect place for a burger. I must get around to trying their burger soon. There is also outdoor dining for when the weather is cooperating. read more

We've lived in Franklin for a long time and have heard about this place but for some reason just never took the time to go eat there. It is a true local establishment. Incredibly clean, neat atmosphere. Well-kept. Lots of hometown memorabilia. "Pub" makes you think about a bar, but it's really not that, think of a locally owned Chili's type of restaurant. American food. The food was awesome. I had their cheeseburger and it was fantastic. Took my youngest son and he had the catfish. I tried it - it was great too. I've read several reviews in many of them mentioned poor service. That wasn't the case with us at all. Our service was great. Very friendly, upbeat. Food came out in a very reasonable time. Hands down one of the best pubs in the area, service is exceptional, the people running the joint are wholesome awesome people, I've been here twice now and have never been let down, the food options are all great, I recommend the chicken and biscuits or the buffalo chicken sandwich. They are super friendly. Great clean place. It's also kid friendly. The fried food is fine. I tried a burger and didn't like it but I would still go back and try something else. They need more parking. Parking is limited. When we arrived the Parking lot was full and the place was half empty. Horrible service... Waiters were very rude. This used to be a regular place for me but it's slowly going downhill. I got chicken kabobs and one of the chicken breasts tasted rotten. The waiter said to me "well what do you want me to do with it." The mean wasn't even taken off the bill. I DO NOT recommend this place. read more

I never write reviews but this was a must! Their food is incredible and cannot be beaten! They have southern comfort/ bar food that will knock your socks off! My personal favorites are their New York Rueben, Chicken & Biscuits, & all of the burgers! If you have not been here you have to try it! Plus the service is outstanding-- they are so personable and kind (especially this one host if you're seeing this I think you said your name was Jordan, you were super hot)! In my recent trip to the Corner Pub we were seated close to the door and forgotten about. After 15 minutes we asked the young man who seated us for a server. After more than 5 more minutes of being ignored we left. The prior visits had very slow service but at least they got around to serving us. We've liked the food but not sure we will go back. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there were about 10 people in the restaurant. Most were all casually sitting around the bar. We sat in the dining room to have lunch. The food was ok.. not the greatest, but marginal bar food. The service, however, was awful to non-existent. The "waitress" was too concerned with being social at the bar (and drinking herself) to wait on the customers. My drink was never refilled, I had to get up and visit the bar for a refill. It was a nice atmosphere, and decent food, but combined with the poor service it's not worth a visit. read more

This place deserves 0 out of 10 STARS! Go to the Corner Pub Brentwood location instead! My girlfriend and I are originally from Iowa and are big Kansas City Chiefs fans! We enjoy trying different sports bars in the Franklin/Brentwood area to watch Chiefs games on Sundays. This was our first and last experience at Corner Pub Franklin. We arrived at the Corner Pub around noon to have lunch and watch the Chiefs game. We requested the hostess to seat us near the TV that the Chiefs game was on. She said that was no problem but that we would have to wait for her manager to give the ok for us to be seated. She stated that it would be a 10-minute wait when there were numerous open tables for us to be seated immediately. The hostess apologized and was visibly annoyed with her manager that she couldn't seat us immediately. Once we were finally given the ok to be seated by the manager the hostess seated us at a table with a TV that had the Titans game on. She stated that she would go and change the channel on the TV to the Chiefs game. Once we were seated we discovered that every TV in the entire Corner Pub had the Titans game on. The manager who made us wait to be seated ended up being our server. He came several minutes after we were seated to take our order and I again requested to watch the Chiefs game on the TV at our table. He was very curt and stated that he would not change the channel because others were watching the Titans game. Keep in mind that the Titans game was on every TV, Corner Pub was not full, and this TV was at our table. Others were watching the Titans game but nobody appeared to be watching the TV at our table, even if they were there was a TV literally right next to it with the Titans game on. I stated that we came to this "Sports Bar" establishment to watch the Chiefs game. Then I said isn't this a "Sports Bar"? He then responded very rudely that this was the biggest Titans game of the year and that he would not change the channel. We then told him that we were going to leave and go to a different "Sports Bar" establishment to watch the game. He very cavalierly replied, "That's Fine". He lost our business forever. We will never go back. If you are a Sports Fan and are looking for a place in Franklin to watch a game I would strongly recommend going somewhere else! Miller's Ale House (Cool Springs), Jonathan's Grille (Franklin, TN), Drake's Cool Springs, and The Tin Roof 2 are all much better options! read more

I want to start by saying I have never written a review. I ordered Corner Pub from the Columbia Ave location from UberEats. It took forever to get it, which has nothing to do with the restaurant. However, I ordered the nachos for my son & he is very particular about what he likes...only chili & cheese, nothing else. When we received the order, not only was it piled high with everything on it, but it was directly on top of it. It was a gloppy, soggy mess. I never call & complain about anything, but it was inedible & I thought that they should at least know that the packaging was wrong even if they had gotten the order right. I called & talked to the nicest man on the phone. He made another order for my son, packaged it correctly, & then had one of his staff members DELIVER IT TO ME!!!! In a time when customer service is dying, this person still understands how very important it is!! I will certainly continue to support this restaurant!!! read more

Great atmosphere. Good bar. Love music. Good bar food...but just order traditional bar food. I made the mistake or ordering a ribeye. Flavor was good, but I ordered medium and it was very well done. I informed my waitress that it was very overdone, so much so that I was ready to ask for A1 sauce. She came back with a bottle of A1 and stayed away from us the rest of the night. Great staff who are friendly, polite and very attentive! I have heard the food is very good BUT the four times I have gone the food is average at best. The nachos are Without s doubt the worst I have ever had, basically chips covered with a ton of lettuce. I felt totally ripped off. The presentation is just plain which is fine for pub fare, but on those cases the restaurant will make up for it with hearty portions- not here though. The Reuben sandwich was very good so that's a plus. UPDATE ... 9/30/18 ... Had Chili nachos with no lettuce, no tomatoes and they were GREAT! Lots of chili and cheese, great taste and large, this was close to perfect for pub nachos! I am so glad they upgraded their approach to added flavors and a respectable , proper size! Overall: food was good, atmosphere was nice, but service was consistently horrible. One visit, I ordered fish basket, but was delivered fish dinner. The server sent the manager to our table, but the manager was rude and made lame excuses. On another visit, we overheard the same manager be rude to another customer when they asked for tea instead of a flat coke. A few times we went there, it took longer than average to get drinks. Being new to Franklin. We have been trying a lot of places. I have seen this place a few times while driving by. The parking lot is usually full. So we decided to try it. So glad we did. Service was great and the food was excellent. I had the white beans and catfish. The beans were probably one of the best I've had. With the absence of NBCSN in my home and the need to watch the Preds/Ducks Game 6 this past Monday, I racked my brain trying to find a place to accomplish this with my 5 year old in tow. I had driven by this place many times, but honestly, just assumed it was a dive bar. Then I remembered someone having good things to say about it, so I called. 1st question: is the game on with sound? YES! 2nd: can I bring my girl? WE ARE KID-FRIENDLY. Yay. I had found my spot. Pleasantly surprised upon arrival: clean, casual, plenty of TVs and friendly fans. My husband joined us and we ordered dinner. My daughter ate every single bite :) Her food was tasty and NOT drowned in grease! Our meals were VERY good. We were so surprised ... in the best way. We'll definitely be back. Husband and I tried this place after a recommendation from an acquaintance. After finding few reviews online we decided to give it a shot anyway. We are glad we did! From the outside the place isn't anything to look at. Very friendly service, good beer selection, good sized menu, but not overwhelming. Even though we sat inside, the patio is nice. Decor is tasteful and the restaurant was clean. We had the jalapeno burger and the southwest burger. Both came out quick and tasted good. The homemade chips were light and addicting. For two bucks, I had the side salad which had a lot of toppings (the only reason to have a salad, right?). Why not a fifth star? Husband said he wished the burgers would have been a littler hotter and I wished the cigarette smoke from the patio didn't waft in each time the for was open. They have a garage door that is usually open, so the smoking could be an issue when always open. (Tonight the door was closed because the pollen from a plant kept wafting into people's food.) All in all, we have found another local favorite that we probably would have overlooked had it not been for the recommendation. Check it out. read more
