Looking for a pool hall to enjoy a family night out, friends night out or date night? This is t spot and I would highly recommend coming here. Amazing experience here with my friends tonight. Corner Pocket is a fun refreshing atmosphere to be in on a Saturday night and they have a nice front outdoor patio area to chill and relax if need be. There were even pool tournaments going on every Friday (check that out!) Super entertaining to watch. Food and drink pricing is affordable(recommend the wings!!!). Theres beer on tap and a full service bar. Lots of accessible pool tables with big screens showing a variety of programming (boxing, football, basketball, etc.) Over all zero complains with this place, the bartender Mary was delightful, informative and fun to be around -makes great drinks too!!.. and the manager was friendly and made us feel right at home! We will be back for more pool. Happy to see this place is operational and thriving after all this COVID stuff.

Friday night fun. Walked in and a tournament was going on but still had open tables so we got to play right away. The girls at the counter were very friendly and very helpful to let us know the hours and the open tournament schedule and happy hour specials.

So, I was a little disturbed the last time I came here. Last Saturday, I came here with a few friends as usual. We decided to order a couple of drinks. I was sitting at the bar and watching the bartender make my blue Hawaiian. The bartender was almost finished with my drink, and she needed to add in the pineapple juice last. She picked up an UNLABELED container, studied it, opened it, and then smelled it. After deciding it wasn't moldy or spoiled, she poured it into my drink. She then tasted it before handing it to me, which I know is protocol sometimes. However, it just seemed suspicious as if she was double-checking to make sure the juice wasn't spoiled. My drink tasted just fine, but it bothers me that the juice wasn't labeled. I'm pretty sure it's to law to date when foods are opened and placed into fridges. Furthermore, the bartender completely messed up three of my friend's Irish car bombs. She poured the Guinness in a whiskey glass, poured the whiskey in the beer, put a little shot glass full of Baileys directly into the whiskey glass, and told them to drink. We were all mortified as we watched them assemble the car bombs because we never saw it done that way, and usually the person taking the shot is the one who drops it into the glass. I think it's safe to say that these bartenders didn't really know what they were doing. I hope they start labeling their perishable items.

This was their so called "Nacho supreme".. i guess that bartender was hungry that night!!..

It's ok. I went for just drinks. Not too expensive but not cheap either. The service is pretty bad and pretty slow. I wouldnt go again.

I guess because it's a sports bar restaurant, and it's in Bakersfield. I got the shock of my life. It turned out, this was the best barbecue food I ever had. Not only that, but it's very affordable. I would say a bargain. I didn't have to spend 100+ dollars for 2 persons, like a lot of so called high quality barbecue restaurants. The briskets and ribs were amazing. Delicious, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Sides were also delicious. The service was good too. You just go up and get your order. It took a little time, but the staff is helpful and friendly. I'll be back here again, the next time I'm in Bakersfield. Maybe I'll visit the Buck Owen's museum. Bakersfield is truly the Texas of California, although I've only been to El Paso, Texas.

I really enjoy my ribs they were tender and in my opinion they didn't need the sauce. I enjoyed how spacious the place is and the giants fan they have keep the place cool during this hot weather. Was just passing by for a dinner meal, and I was very happy. If I could give one recommendation maybe smoke those ribs a bit more to be a bit more tender. Definitely will be back for that tri tip.

Very friendly, he gave several recommendations, and was very patient as we reviewed the menus. He checked in regularly. Now the food... we had the bacon on bacon, ordered by the bacon lover, (my husband) and he gave it a 10/10. I enjoyed it too! We had the vodka pasta and shared it, and that was amazing, the pasta was served al dente and was perfect. The chicken was grilled perfectly and tender. We left room for dessert and ordered the carrot cake. I'm a carrot cake snob so I was already setting myself up for disappointment, It did not disappoint. Very moist, the cream cheese icing was light and tasty. Every other bite had a surprising crunch. 10/10 Drinks- I had the hibiscus muse. Very tasty and refreshing. The hubby had whistle pig old fashioned. Solid drink! He doesn't venture out much and was pleased with the entire experience. Would visit again! From him that's saying a lot! A great review for food is one thing but when you get great, tasty food and exceptional service, that's rare and deserves a review. Thank you centro cali brewing and Elijah!

Spicy Potato Pearls appetizer. This dish was really good and it consisted of 8 spicy potato pearls, perfect for sharing. I would describe as seasoned mashed potatoes, rolled into a ball shape and coated with a panko and deep fried and topped with finely grated Parmesan cheese. It's served with a side of cilantro aioli and a lemon wedge I would definitely order this again. 8/10 2. Breaded chicken over Garlic Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta had a nice garlic flavor and a rich creamy white Alfredo sauce. Chicken was cooked to perfection and flavorful. One of my favorites 10/10 NOTE: all pastas are made in-house 3. Cali Lasagna : Wagyu beef bolognese, pomodoro sauce, Parmesan and basil oil. Lasagna was piping hot and very good. It had dollops of ricotta cheese on top. 9/10 4. Fried Lasagna: chef special. OMG!! This was my absolute favorite and hopefully becomes a regular menu option. Lasagna rolls that have been breaded and deep fried. 10/10 5. Minestrone soup: very flavorful and nice chunks of veggies. Served piping hot. 10/10 6. Four Cheeses & Figs Pizza: white sauce, mozzarella, provolone, goat cheese, blue cheese and fig compote and topped with arugula 10/10 7. Cali Pizza: San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, salami and topped with hot honey & sliced Fresno chiles 9/10 (pizza was a bit greasy) NOTE: all pizza doughs are made in-house. 8. Fish & Chips (chef special): battered in a squid ink batter and fried to perfection. Served with French fries & tartar sauce. 9. Prosciutto Arugula Pizza: San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, apple slices and topped with a balsamic reduction 8/10 (a bit on the salty side) 10. Creamy Pesto & Artichokes Pasta: pesto sauce, penne pasta, artichokes, asparagus, arugula and Parmesan 10/10 11. Tiramisu: 10/10 Cocktails: 1. Cucumber Margarita nice cucumber taste not overly sweet 10/10 2. Espresso Martini: it was good but not outstanding. The foam should have been frother. 7/10 Overall food was fantastic and our waitress was on-point with our orders. Parking is free, however, it can be challenging during peak hours. The ambiance is very laidback and a chill vibe. They also have an outdoor patio if you prefer to dine outdoors. Restrooms were very clean and fully stocked.
