I had a terrible experience with "Reliable" in connection with getting a hospital bed for my mother…read morein memory care. The original delivery was a nightmare. My mother's primary physician had initiated the order and "Reliable" left a message for me one evening asking me to call them back to let them know what specific model and features I wanted for her. I called first thing the next morning, no one answered, and I got no return call in response to my message. But they nevertheless delivered a bed to my mother's room without giving any notice that they were coming, no opportunity to arrange to move the bed she was currently using, and the bed they delivered did not have the features she needed. It took more than a week to get hold of someone to make arrangements to have the correct bed delivered, and the wrong one picked up (meanwhile I was scrambling to make arrangements to move out her old bed). Finally, the right bed was in place, and it worked for 4 or 5 months, and then quit working. I called for service, couldn't get an answer, never got a callback in response to my messages (deja vue all over again), and then more than a week later found out someone had stopped by (without telling me or anyone in charge in her memory care facility) to diagnose the problem with the bed. I was told they would fix it under warranty within 5-7 business days. More than a month later, still not repaired. I make multiple calls, usually no one answers, but on occasion when someone picks up, they assure me it's in progress and they'll get a date for me and call me back. They never do. Most galling of all, someone calls from Reliable out of the blue, knowing nothing about our service problem, and wants me to tell him how happy I am with the bed and would I like to buy more equipment from them! I give him an earful and he, too, promises to escalate, but no one calls. We finally have to buy a new bed (from a different supplier!) because we can't get this one fixed and her caregivers need to be able to raise it up and down to take care of her. Hospice services calls Reliable to come pick up the broken bed but when they do, they leave the mattress behind because they can't reuse or donate it, so now I even have to pay to have the mattress hauled away. I can't remember the last time I've been so thoroughly dissatisfied with every aspect of a company's customer service. "Reliable" indeed!
