This place is magical to me! Every time I go here I leave with amazing products to try for my hair and skin. I usually use the smooth infusion and be curly lines for my hair since I have super curly and thick hair, and I've always wanted to have looser curls. I started using these products about 5 years ago and they definitely do what they are supposed to. When they started coming out with the masques, I really started to see progress in my hair. I usually use the masques ( I use the damage remedy and dry remedy masques to keep my hair safe from heat/Sun damage) once a week every sunday with my Olaplex. My hairstylist has seen improvement in my breakage now that I've started to use the masques with Olaplex and shampoo. Speaking of shampoo, since my hair is super curly I only shampoo it once or twice a week, but the shampoos I get from Aveda usually call for about a dime size amount for my hair. When it comes to my face I usually go for the botanical kinetics cleanser and lotion to keep my skin hydrated. At first I thought these products caused alot of my breakouts when I started using them, but I found out through some testing that my breakouts actually stemmed from clearsil cleanser I was using. After getting rid of that for my facial routine, my skin has been baby bum soft! One last thing is that the staff are uber helpful. They always offer me their signature tea and ask if I need any guiding. I'm pretty familiar with them, but I only go about every other month for stocking up, so I don't know their names. They pretty much influenced me to start using the smooth infusion and be curly, while branching out to the Brilliance line for moisture. If your still iffy about investing in Aveda, I would ask for samples of the products you want to try, or the ones they are offering. Obviously you shouldn't abuse that power, but don't be afraid to ask. read more
