This is a very convenient donut shop if you live any where near downtown Dallas. There is free parking right in front of the building. I assume this is a mom and pop store and the lady who served me on Sunday was very sweet and polite. I scored a free donut for checking in on Yelp and she also threw in some donut holes. About $4 for 2 donuts and a bottle water and I was on my way home. The donuts were fresh and tasty. Not too sweet as traditional donuts, but the glaze tasted fantastic. I don't want to make this place a tradition cuz I'm already struggling to have a summer body, but dang it - they are walking distance, and take apple pay, so they make it super easy to get my donut fix. : ) read more

I checked in here via my Yelp app and scored a free doughnut! I bought an apple fritter, vanilla cream filled doughnut, croissant with egg, sausage & cheese, and a sausage & cheese kolache. The lady at the counter was very nice. My bakery items were fresh. I was not keen on the cream filled doughnut, because the "cream" turned out to be something closer to vanilla pudding, which I didn't care for. My croissant sandwich would have been a lot better minus the cheese, which was like a Kraft plastic wrapped single. The sandwich would have been a 4 if it had better quality cheese on it. These aren't the best doughnuts I've ever tried, but they are also not the worse. It's nice to know that when I need a "sugar fix," there's one nearby. read more

The lady was super nice and welcoming! We got a regular Kolache, and 1 mini jalapeno Kolache and they were warm, soft & buttery with a kick of saltiness from the sausage. We also grabbed a few donuts. My favorite is the cinnamon roll donut. Highly recommend this unassuming place, love it! I showed up at 10am on a Monday (2 hours before closing) and the donuts were completely sold out already! All that was left were 2 kolaches. I was pretty shocked that they were out of donuts especially since they didn't close for another 2 hours. I was told that more kolaches would be out but it would be a 5 minute wait. I decided to buy the last two kolaches and the lady working was nice enough to let me use a yelp check in for one of them. As for the kolaches themselves, they were hard. I'm used to soft, fluffy bread, but this had more of a dense, dry texture rather than fluffy and soft. It reminded me of cornbread (but it was flour, confusing, I know). I rated this one star due to the the lack of donuts (or absence of donuts, in this case) and the flavor of the kolaches I received. I may give this place another try, but I suppose I'd have to show up right when they open to actually get the chance to purchase donuts. read more

My first time here was great. Came in before closing and the guy offered me 40% off if I buy a dozen. Kolaches were big and yummy. Few weeks later, went in at the same time. The lady said no 40% off deal and Sold me a sad looking kolache. At least have some consistency on the quality then deals. You're better off driving down the road. Walked on over on a Saturday afternoon and was delighted with the array of donuts offered before me. I selected roughly a dozen different varieties and was extremely pleased. Can't go wrong with a chocolate cake or original glazed! Dense, but pillowy soft with just the right amount of sweetness. Was not expecting a yellow sprinkled one to have a fruity icing flavor...maybe pineapple? I guess I should've asked. It was unexpected but definitely not unappreciated. This donut shop is close to my child's school, so I decided to stop by and get some donuts. It was 7:30 am and I ordered a dozen donuts and I wanted 4 kolaches but they were out and I'd have to wait 10 minutes for more. (I couldn't wait, kids had to be at school before 7:50) anyway you'd think the donuts would be warm but lo and behold they were freaking cold!!!! Like the had been pulled out of the fridge ( they clearly weren't) but come on!!! If you know the donuts are cold throw them in the microwave, I would of been cool with that. Stopped by this little donut shop recently since the hubs and I were at a convention nearby. I searched high and low for donut shops that were open at the time to no avail... well, except this place. Let's just say I've had better- way better. The selection left much to desire and the sausage kolaches were just awful (if you can't tell, that's the thing I was looking forward to the most). The bread was dry, the sausages were yucky, and the cheese was measley. Fail. I suppose if you stop by for your typical donut (ie: glazed) you won't be disssappointed, though. The apple fritter was not unlike that which you would find at a 7-11 gas station at midnight for half off because it's stale...and it WAS stale. It was not however, half priced but should have been. It was waaay to thick and dough-y, cake like and bland, on top of being tough. Not the thin, crisp delicate, seasoned apple filled fritters I'm used to. Also got the sausage croissant sandwich, less stale but still obviously not fresh. This, coupled with the foul dirty dishwater smell that assaulted my nose upon walking through the door was a real disappointment. Stopped by here around 10:00 am on a Saturday as I had a strong craving for donuts. This place delivered! I tried orange, strawberry and maple donuts and they were all good. I was especially happy with the orange donut because I've never seen any other shop offer that flavor. I also had my fill of kolaches which were amazing. All in all this is a good donut shop.
