I went to get some ice cream from the Corner Cone. They have about 30 flavors with each also coming vegan so it's pretty friendly for that. It also has vegan hot dogs. It's not that expensive either which is a plus. They are open only in the afternoons on weekdays, but they open at noon on the weekends. I like the humongous selection. There's seriously about 30 flavors and each also comes in vegan which tastes almost like the real thing. A few of the flavors include amaretto, banana, caramel, cheesecake, espresso, lemon, orange, peanut butter, tutti frutti, and watermelon. It's also pretty cheap for the sizes. The bowl is about $3. A banana split is about $5. They have flurry mix ins with candy. It seems a lot of the candies and toppings are also vegan. They can make any two flavors into a twist. It's not only ice cream. They also have vegan hot dogs. These are $3 and toppings include banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, and tomatoes for 10 cents, and guacamole and onions for 50 cents. I will stop in next time I'm there. It's a great vegan alternative to the ice cream places up the road. They have a friendly staff and the food is good for its price. read more

This place is just awesome. We had to wait in line for a bit but it was worth it. It wasn't expensive either. It's a great stop for people who want something cold after a bike ride or hike. Corner cone was my go-to for ice cream as a vegan because they have dairy-free soft serve that can be made in a large number of flavors, and tastes so delicious! I'm a big fan of the pina colada, cheesecake, and amaretto flavors. My biggest disappointment, however, is that I've driven all the way there 4-5 times this summer only to find out they didn't have vegan soft serve that day, or were closed during their normal operating hours. Ive been a customer for a large number of years and I'm so disappointed in their lack of consistency lately and the fact that they haven't had vegan soft serve nearly all summer. Another thing is that they need a much clearer website/Facebook page and more concise opening and closing dates, as well as consistent hours. Currently, it's often difficult to find out when they're actually open or closed without calling or actually driving there, which I find a bit inconvenient at best. read more

The ice cream flavors are phenomenal and they can make almost all of them in vegan flavors. The blueberry flavor is just show stopping. So dang good! I've only been here once, but this place seems popular. There was a steady line of people while we were there. We went there because we heard they had vegan ice cream. They have some pretty unique flavors of ice cream & can even mix several flavors together for you. They have 24 total flavors. I got the coconut because I love everything coconut, but unfortunately it had an overwhelming artificial taste to it, sort of reminded me of tanning lotion. I gave it 4 stars because I don't know of any other places around that offer vegan soft served ice cream & the other members in my group all enjoyed theirs, so maybe I just picked a bad flavor. Great ice cream and my son loves the hotdogs, all beef with top split grilled bun. They have soft serve that they add flavor to, to create 30 some flavors. Ice cream is delicious . . . When you get it! Is it soft serve or slow serve? If you are unlucky and the customer in front of you orders the brownie fudge Sunday, you are in for a wait! The slow moving ice cream artist will have to think about where he might find the dish, yes its on the front counter, then slowly fill it. Now for the brownies, they are in the back room in a cooler and that's a slow walk, he will have s lot of customers today and does not want to wear himself out early in his shift. Having found the brownie he comes back and unwraps it from a plastic bag, by now as you stand in line you think, hope it will be your turn in a moment, Sorry, the brownie has to be positioned just right in the bowl and then he is off to the side counter to add the chocolate from a pot with a lid that restricts access and a spoon that is too small. Time and time again he scoops a tiny bit more chocolate on to the brownie slowly getting a covering. All this time you stand there wondering why you are there in line for a cone? At last the chocolate is satisfactorily covering the brownie and all is well, then comes the whipped cream, it must be done now! oh no, he remembers the cherry, it's deep down in a container at the back of the rear counter, it's hard to snag and determination is written all over the "artists" face as he gets the cherry positioned on top of the $4.95 creation that took 5 minutes to create. That's 5 minutes without another sale being made as the line gained new customers and lost others who left frustrated. This must be a form of reverse physiology sales and marketing genius that keeps the line long to crest a demand for your simple cone! The disorganized set up makes it a challenge for those operating the place and more so for those that stand for 15 minutes in line with only 6 people, that's two families in front of us with nothing better to do than watch a golf cart with a cone on its roof drive back and forth on the road, it gave us something to do as we wondered if we would ever get served! read more

It was our first time here and we are from Maryland (in town for a wedding). Looked the place up and were very excited for vegan soft serve. The young man at the window was rather discourteous and acted as if he couldn't be bothered to answer some questions. I asked him about the guacamole for the hot dog and he said it was more like a guacamole sauce. To which I asked what that meant and he said, " A sauce with guacamole flavoring." In spite of his indifference I ordered the vegan hot dog anyway and was more than disappointed. The pretzel bun was cold, the hot dog was drowned in ketchup, and seemed as if it was microwaved quickly. My wife ordered the vegan cheesecake ice cream to which he casually responded they were out. It would have been nice had he told us the flavors they were currently out of. The ice cream tasted more like a flavored snow cone. I'm not impressed by their "Blizzard" knock offs... much rather just go to DQ for the real thing.
