They had some pastry still left in the display case. The words Coffee and Cafe were at a few areas in the dining room and knew I had to try their 100% Arabica coffee as a treat before our upcoming late lunch. Amazing! It's a little hidden gem. I passed by this place by chance and decided to go in. I had a latte (café con leche), croissants (medialunas) and a spinach tart. Let me tell you that in 25 years of having lived in the US, I haven't found good coffee till I tried Corner Cafe's coffee. It's the real deal. The croissants are the best I've had so far in Hollywood and the tart was very tasty. They also have a variety of other food items like alfajores, empanadas, sandwich de miga, pastries and a variety of different dishes for lunch. I highly recommend this place. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (ham, egg, cheese, over easy) and my wife had an omelette. I liked my sandwich and my wife liked her omelette as well. The people were very friendly and seemed to know a lot of their customers. Coffee was interesting, but very good. I need to try the empanadas one of these days.
