The Corner Cafe is a little place tucked in a corner that I happened to find on accident. I was glad that I did. The food is amazing and the prices are incredible. I got a nice large roast beef sandwich, with potato salad and a full large cup of soup, and a sweet tea, for less than 10 bucks! It is family owned and has amazing customer service. Delicious and the service is as good as it gets! I called in a large order after 11AM, and even though delivery normally ends at 11 Bridget delivered to our company within 45 minutes. I was at The Corner Cafe yesterday with a girlfriend for lunch. A place that I frequent quite often as it is only a few blocks from my house. Needless to say I will NEVER be back. And if you have children you should NEVER plan to dine in at this establishment. They most definitely are not child friendly. While waiting for our food, my friends child had moved his chair into the aisle way so that he could sit next to my son. My friend asked her son to move the chair back so he got down out of the chair to do so, and my son got down to help him. Another woman started walking down the aisle, and instead of asking one of us if we could move the chair she decided to agressively push past our children and toss the chair out of her way almost hitting my fireds son in the process. Instead of coming up to our table and asking us what had happened. The owner and two other employees came up to our table and asked us to leave, because our children were being so loud that no one else in the entire restaurant was able to enjoy their lunch?! Our children were sitting at the table, doing what normal three year old toddlers do... they were not screaming, they were not throwing things, they were not going up to other customers/tables. I fail to see how two children playing quietly at their own table could possibly be so disruptive. It completely just baffles me that we were not asked if our children were okay, we were not asked what happened, we were simply asked to leave. It's very sad in this day and age that people still have a "children should be seen and not heard" mentality. It breaks my heart because I have used Bridget's catering services in the past, as well as eaten in many times because I do enjoy the food so much. However I will gladly take a 2 star establishment that has respect for mothers and children over this place any day!!!!!! read more

We were at a birthday party catered by this place, Corner Cafe, and let me tell you something folks, the food here is amazingly awesome, I just can't describe it any other way. If I lived in this town I would be a regular, the food is just that good. If your looking for an amazing lunch that's more healthier than that fast food burger place, then this place is for you! Its a true local, neighborhood business with the owner (Bridgette) on site - all the time. The building is probably an old block convenience store off the beaten path. You would not stop if you didn't know. The interior is clean, bright and a little like a throwback to an old 50's cafe with the inexpensive tables and chairs. Now the great part. The food and the portions are the largest and tastiest selection in town. Its like a Florida deli which means no windows or display cases and no fried foods but some of the most diverse healthy selections you can imagine. Salads, cold pastas, sandwiches, chicken salad with croissants, and a daily soup in the kettle. I am 6'3, 275 and can not eat the soup and salad combo for $ 7.95 without feeling stuffed. A great many to go boxes leave the front door. Just the soup will fill you up. I try to go once a week just to keep it fresh, no other restaurant in town compares. I always get the same thing, I know, but its really great, tuna salad, chicken salad (with grapes) feta cole slaw and cucumber salad and then they throw glazed pecans onto the plate as an extra. Bridgette makes all the items on site and the dressings mix on the plate for something really great. People have discovered the place so be there at 11:00 when they open or be prepared to wait in line, usually not more than ten minutes but I have seen it longer. They do a huge take out too, I have seen boxes of orders looking like 20 or so meals being picked up. read more

My supervisor took me there for lunch one day and I was hooked! It's small and quaint,a little hole in the wall that a lot of people don't know about. The staff are all very friendly! Fresh salads, sandwiches and wraps are served. They are delicious, healthy and filling (large portions). Service is great, the staff is helpful, and there's a nominal discount for paying cash (as opposed to credit card). Go orders are not a problem. And, their catering services are excellent. I only have positive experiences here and love the food. I have two babies, a two year old boy and a four month old. My two year is a little crazy but I've always had wonderful experiences with the staff. They are also respectful of nursing moms like myself. And the food is so delish! read more

went there today, cashier was extremely unfriendly (most the time they are great and never seen this young oriental? girl before), maybe she was having a bad day but don't bring it to work. Absolutely no thank you or you're welcome from her when I told her thank you after I had ordered..... nothing. I waited 20 mins for food and after about 6 people that ordered after me getting their food before me, I asked where mine was.. that other lady was extremely nice. however, I do suggest a better method of handling the orders. I did notice that people ordering after me got their empty boxes in the window put on top of mine so mine kept getting buried in the pile. in addition, i heard the kitchen person tell the cashier that they were out of what i had ordered. luckly, i guess they had finally got to mine and i guess my order was the last of it. i'm glad one more box didn't get put on top of mine or i might have waited for my lunch that long and not gotten any lunch at all. i would have been furious!!! I suggest a better method of processing orders because they are getting all mixed up. not only was mine an issue, they had two people with the same name and the one lady got the wrong order, left and had to come back in. i'm sure they were frustrated as well. It is not very well organized in there as far as the order of customers and when they get their food. Please fix the chaos!! read more
