Unfortunately, the food itself was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet but was served a bacon and cheese omelet instead, which is a pretty significant difference. The pancake was dense, dry, and almost flavorless -- it honestly tasted like it was made from little more than flour and water. The French toast was acceptable but nothing memorable. Overall, we took a few bites from everything but barely touched our food.  We've been traveling for a month and eating at restaurants all over the country, and this was easily the most disappointing meal we've had on the road. While we waited for our food the waitress chatted us up and was quite interesting to talk to. Before we left they had homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies on the counter. They looked so good so we got a couple of each for the road. They were absolutely delicious, the brownies were quite moist.
