We were told the fryers were down, which wasn't a problem since we planned to order breakfast items anyway. Our server was friendly, but service felt disorganized from the start. She forgot to bring my coffee, and I had to ask for it while she was sitting at the desk computer. We also noticed our food was taking an unusually long time to arrive, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant. Eventually, we learned they had to turn on and heat up the flat-top grill after we placed our order. At lunchtime on a Wednesday, that was surprising. Had we known the grill wasn't already operating, we probably would have chosen somewhere else. We're traveling and were hoping for a quick meal, but it took nearly an hour from start to finish, with over 30 minutes passing before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food itself was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet but was served a bacon and cheese omelet instead, which is a pretty significant difference. The pancake was dense, dry, and almost flavorless -- it honestly tasted like it was made from little more than flour and water. The French toast was acceptable but nothing memorable. Overall, we took a few bites from everything but barely touched our food.  We've been traveling for a month and eating at restaurants all over the country, and this was easily the most disappointing meal we've had on the road. The staff was pleasant, but between the long wait, incorrect order, and poor food quality, we won't be returning next time we pass through.

Came with fresh cut fries, ketchup and ranch dressing. Add a Bent nail IPA and we got us a nice meal.....definitely want to come back to explore the burger side of the menu The bartender was working the room and doing a good job....she hustled!

This is as one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was delicious! It had a big fried green tomato and vinaigrette. The fries had great flavor and texture. The Roy Rogers is why I love stopping at the small town, locally owned establishment. This is a great place to eat, and the locals are very friendly. I got to meet the town mayor and a couple of his pals and we had an awesome conversation. Thank you for the great food and atmosphere! I hope to be back someday soon.

We got our usual pepperoni and black olive pizza. The 12 inch was perfect to split. The thin crust was delicious. With several beer options and being new to the area, I had to try a local beer and opted for the stout. Great choice. Our server was excellent. We asked her about the name and she told us they have been around since the 1960's! Whaaaaat? The name has just been passed down through owners.
