Great spot for a light lunch! They have great combos like a half sandwich with salad, soups and pasta. We felt so light after our visit. It was convenient and the food came out fast. Would def return! read more

Been coming here over the years. Restaurant has a cozy environment and a quick to order system. With lots of seating and even coloring pages plus games for the little ones. Most tables have access to plugs which comes in handy if you'd like to study or get work done here. I think it's a great spot for that considering they have refillable drinks! The food is pleasant with lots of options to choose from. Savory dishes, health conscious options and so many sweet treats. I have always enjoyed the food i had ordered and then one day i decided to order a stack of pancakes. I was blown away!!!!! Without knowing i was in the very establishment that housed the BEST classic pancakes!!!! They are so light and fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. read more

I went here on a Friday evening for dinner. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was clean, we were greeted by a super nice girl, Karyse I think. It was the first time being there and she told us about the food, the pastries, recommended a toffee cookie which was fantastic. It was soft & chewy. Ordered a 1/2 sandwich and pasta. The linguine & shrimp was delicious. Light but flavorful. The ciabatta roll on my sandwich was a little dry, but the ingredients were super fresh. Really surprised by the experience and the service from the gal that helped us was lovely. Would recommend for a light meal or cookie- 100% read more

The Corner bakery is just that it has a large dining area with plenty of of seating. The ambience is pleasant and many people use this aspect for quick meals and mornings gathering. The food is your basic reheat and serve the menu looks more inviting than what comes to your table the taste is your basic reheat and serve the service is quick and friendly , prompt . The coffee was excellent and they have a pretty good choice of available additions to add to your basic cup of coffee. The amount comes in a small portion. They could stand to use more seasonings to the entree. The photo from the menu looked just like my food. read more

I'm here probably every other week. I say that because it really pains me to give this place a low review. But there is some major issues with the timing of food. I usually come here on my lunch hour, and I usually end up spending about an hour and 20 to an hour and 30 minutes at lunch. On average my food will arrive at my table within 15 to 25 minutes of ordering. So if you're looking for a quick lunch, don't go to this place. However, if you have some time, the food is pretty good. I've had the chicken salad, which by far is my favorite sandwich, and I've also had the tomato soup. Which is pretty decent. It's not gourmet, but it's not bad. I am a huge fan of the turkey avocado Cobb salad. Well the size of the entrée salad does fluctuate, the ingredients are always fresh and the staff is pretty nice. Also, it's worth mentioning that If you ask for a piece of bread when you order a salad, they will give it to you for free. It comes with meal, you just have to know to ask for it. If you have the time, This is a really great place to grab a sandwich or a salad and just sit on the patio., But if you don't have a time you should probably avoid this place. read more

An easy option. Not my first choice but not last either. Soups, pasta, salad and sandwiches. Very similar to Panera, but I think they actually make their food to order here. Service has always been fine. You order up front, receive a number, then sit and it's brought out to you. Ambiance is fine, definitely always an older crowd, no issue there just something I've noticed. Very open. I have noticed though some of there booths need updated as they are tearing... read more

Pretty good food! Service was okay, could be better, but it's a purchase than sit kind of place, so guess you can't expect a whole lot. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday, not too much going on, a few people at tables, but they took our order right away, and we had no issue finding a place to sit. The food was delicious. We each ordered the Choose 2. I ordered the chicken rosa pasta and the chicken pomodori panini, with a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was average, reminded me of bagged caesar salad, except for the croutons, those were house made and yummy. Both the panini and the pasta had very similar flavors for sure, kind of a tomato, basil, pesto, spinach thing going on. Which was fine for me, but if you're looking for variety don't order these two together! My friend got a cup of tomato soup, and the choose 2 with the chicken pesto sandwich and the pesto cavatappi. She said both were delicious too. She had the dragon fruit tea and did not care for it though. I've had breakfast BBLT & Egg sandwich before and it is so good (worth adding avocado too.) Both in house and on Door dash. Very much a "panera" type place and for being something I could get good food to go, for the same price as a fast food restaurant, It's pretty good to me. Oh! my other complaint, besides service, was the to go containers felt so flimsy. read more

Been a while since I've ate here. Came when they first opened up, a few years ago, and wasn't too impressed. Reminded me of hospital cafeteria food. Recently they were doing samples outside the restaurant and decided to give it another try. And am I glad I did. Service was good, people at the register were attentive and friendly. The baked good case was clean, full, and appealing. I ordered the Pesto Cavatappi. It was more creamy than a typical Pesto pasta, but it still tasted really good. Overall I was happy I gave this place another try. I'll be going back, this time, for sure. read more

Walked into the restaurant and it was very clean. No one acknowledged me for a couple minutes. I was collecting my free birthday treat. Took awhile for it to show up in the system. The cake was decent. I would like to come back and try more things so I can leave a better review. read more

Struggling writing this because when it is good it is really good! So I will start with the positive. Their BBLT sandwich and Chopped salad are sooooo yummy when made correctly. I have ordered from them 7 times through UberEats. I also love their garden salad, the house dressing is sweet and light. The side of garlic bread is also yummy if that's what you opt for. Mamas Chicken Rosa Pasta is fresh and delicious with shaved palm and chicken! Their prices are fair for portions and I usually get the Choose Two. The issues I've had are pretty bad though, considering how frequently they happen. 2 of the 7 times I've ordered they've forgotten to bag one of my items (the other half of the choose two) and another two times my BBLT bread was completely burnt (see picture) and inedible. Luckily UberEats helps with these issues. So 3/7 times everything has been great, while 4/7 have been inedible or had missing items. I have yet to go inside so I can't say anything about their ambiance, but would definitely recommend to try them on site so any issues can be resolved directly. read more

Arrived at 3:15pm. There were other patrons in the restaurant. Stood at counter for 5 minutes before deciding to call the restaurant and ask if we could be helped. Not sure where workers were and why they did not know when customers entered the restaurant. Besides that, the food was great. Ordered the choose two with baked potato soup and Italian panini with a side Caesar salad. Restaurant was clean, but slightly cold (which is okay). Suggestion: someone should be at the front counter or at least know when customers walk in. read more

Well this place was open plenty of room and friendly helpful staff. When we approached the counter we were greeted and as we ordered David offered suggestions for our side add-ons. We ordered a BBLT with broccoli soup and a BBLT with a side Caesar salad and it was delicious. Plus the kicker was a senior discount "yeah". This was a great place for a casual lunch to enjoy the day and people watch. Outside sitting is available as well. Check it out. read more

Just wanted to leave a positive review..... First time visiting in a while. We came by Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and professional staff. I especially want to mention the manager (didn't catch his name) who was soooo friendly and helpful and attentive....also appreciated the extra touch of greeting everyone coming in and said good bye to everyone leaving. We will definitely be back read more

Good food, quick and conveniently located in busy NE Fresno! Uncomplicated offering with good variability and the items are both tasty and filling without being too much food. Eat in the dining area, outside on the patio, or place your order online and take it to go. They also have ample parking so that's a plus. read more

Everything seemed like this establishment was going to be a 3 or 4 star chain eatery until the wait occurred. The wait was like watching a glacier melt. Pretty endless wait. The food was okay, I ordered a cheese pesto sandwich creation with chips. The sandwich was $9 and some cents. The potato chips were the smallest bad of potatoe chips I've ever seen. It took special engineering to arrive at such a tiny bag of chips. read more

Each month I have lunch with a group of retired women faculty at CSU Fresno. After working so many year's together, it's a lot of fun to meet, catch up and enjoy our timer together. This month we chose to go to the Corner Bakery. During graduate school at Stanford, I regularly went to the Corner Bakery. Today, I ordered a turkey, avocado Cobb Salad ($15.09). It was delicious! I was surprised how large the salad was. I was able to take the remaining salad home for lunch the next day. I was impressed with the quality of the vegetables, and protein. I asked for a raspberry vinaigrette. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. I'm happy that the Corner Bakery carries a variety of pastries, salads and other goodies. The service and ambience is excellent. You can get breakfast and lunch easily. I am excited about returning to try more items from their menu. Try it! read more

The restaurant is spacious and the customer service was good.. the food wasn't though. We each ordered one of the breakfast wraps. It was obviously nuked in the microwave before it was given to us. It was ridiculously hot and not because it was just freshly made. The bacon in the bacon wrap seemed like it was bacon bits that came out of a bag lol It was mediocre at best. Reminded me of hospital cafeteria food. I'm not sure how this place has survived for so long.. just another instance where I think I would've been better off making it myself. Skip this place and save your money. read more

Ordered about five things on DoorDash and they managed to screw up three of the five items. They forgot the soup on the kids sandwich and soup meal, they forgot the fruit medley on scrambler order, they put ice in two chocolate milks that were totally watered down, and on the honey banana pancakes, they not only didn't include honey nor bananas, but no syrup either. Lol. I should have paid attention to the other Yelp reviews about the service. They clearly have no oversight of orders, nor management or quality assurance at the Corner Bakery Cafe. read more

I really hate giving poor reviews but I've given this place three times. Because I didn't see what I wanted on display, I asked.Me: do you still have the cinnamon sour cream coffee cake? Her: no. Me: Not any more? Her: Not since I've been here. Me: well, do you have any cinnamon coffee cake? Her: we don't have cupcakes. (I see they have cinnamon crumb muffins!) Me: Coffee cake, not cupcakes. Her: we have Cinnamon Cream Coffee Cake but it's not sour cream. Me: Do you have any? Her: yes. She then boxes up a lone piece that's been in that plate on the shelf for a week, uncovered. It illustrate my frustration, the man next to me, waiting to order, left in disgust. We're both going to Eddie's. I've long wondered how this place is still in business as this is just one incident in many. If you're going to bring the food to the table or assemble the Togo orders, get another person! The cashier cannot take orders, deliver orders, bus tables and run the register alone! read more

I went with a friend for lunch last week and was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had redone much of the restaurant and it looked great! Corporate has taken over from the franchisee and they just happened to be there. We had a nice chat. The manager Reuben came to our table to ask how we were doing, as well as the catering manager Alana Bailey who was super friendly and gave us a free dessert! Our lunch was delicious, I had the chicken salad, and both of us were extremely satisfied with the positive changes and will definitely be back! read more

I think this place is struggling with being able to retain employees, like the rest of America, therefore our service was a little slow. But our food was delicious. Love that they serve breakfast all day, everyday! The pumpkin muffin was better than Panera! The egg bowl was perfect. The coffee wasn't bitter, like Starbucks. Give this place a try, but be patient with the wait. read more

Got a soup and sandwich combo with a coffee. Everything was just okay. Nothing special. We found an open table outside easily.

This is my second time back. The first time I can here, I didn't care for their food or service. My husband convinced me to give them another try. He was sure there were some improvements. He was right! When we walked thru the door my daughter grabbed a kids paper menu that has games and brand new color crayons. We didn't see any regular menus at the entrance. It looked like they were put away and hasn't been refilled or they weren't allowing anyone to handle the paper menus during this time... We follow the line path on the right and waited to be helped at the register. Between the two cash registers were the baked goods. Everything looked and smelled delicious and warm. We were acknowledged when we walked in the door but it was about 5 minutes before we were helped, but that gave us time to look at the menu that was posted at the counter. There were two other people behind us so we would have felt rushed since the menus weren't provided at the entrance. When I started ordering, the employee that was helping us interrupted me and was telling her coworker something about her dog. But then apologized and asked me to repeat my order. After I ordered, she repeated everything back to me to confirm my order. She proceeded to give me a number and told me that they will bring out our food to our table. The inside of the store was open for dining but we decided to sit outside since it was really nice out. There were a lot of tables and chairs that were nicely spaced out: The store was very clean and bathrooms were cleaned and stocked. They brought out our food quickly and asked if we needed any sauce/napkins or anything else. During our meal, we were asked if we needed anything again. Which was nice that they checked up on us. They were quick to clean off the tables and pick up trash left behind also. My husband and I ordered the choose any two deal. Panini - Club with toasted tomato basil soup Chicken Pomodori with Mac n cheese (he wanted the cheddar broccoli soup but it was not available) My daughter ordered, scrambled eggs, blueberry muffin and a sugar cookie. The panini sandwiches were very good! The combination of flavors were excellent. The crunch and the temperature of the sandwiches made them taste very fresh. I didn't care for the tomato soup. It was too chunky and too salty for me. The Mac and cheese was very good also. My daughter ended up requesting a side of it for herself. The amount of cheese was perfect and noodles were not hard or too soft. (I'll be ordering a side of Mac n cheese next time) The blueberry muffin had a nice crunchy top crust but soft in the middle. I loved the real blueberries in them. The sugar cookie was also good. Crunchy around the edges and chewy on the inside. I told me husband I really enjoyed my brunch and I want to stop by again the following weekend for another brunch for more paninis and hopefully try a salad. I definitely can taste the improvement in their food and customer service is definitely better! We will be back this Saturday! read more

The food is great! The service fast. Pick two is my favorite. The macaroni dishes are excellent.

I've been here a few times, it's actually one of my favorite place to have lunch. It's similar to Panera bread. What I love about this place is they have good prices, big portions and the food is simply delicious. This place is very open and alot of seating area inside as well as out. I usually pick the 2 items on sandwich and one side. My go to is the chicken pomodori panini and the mac and cheese(bacon and tomato added upon request) with chips my sister and I went for lunch and we shared the meal for a total of $12 we were stuffed. You can also request to have your order split between 2 and they will give you separate plates and as if you had two orders it's great. They also have a rewards program if your a regular it good to have to get all the wonderful deals they offer. If your dinning in they prong your food to you. The staff is very friendly and the polite. I would highly recommend this place. Everytime I go the food never disappoint. read more
