The only wait times I have are when they are so backed up with customers...which means they are there because they like the food too! Admittedly tuesday turned out to be a weird day for bbq in Memphis as lots that I had on the list were either closed entirely or closed super early. Nevertheless, saw positives of corky's and gave a shot. Went to one location and was takeout only which was a bit of a bummer as I didn't see anything on the site to indicate that. Went 10 miles to Germantown for this location. The catfish nuggets and the dry rubbed ribs were the stars. The Cole slaw had kfc vibes (probably because the waitress told me it tasted like kfc when I asked if it was creamy or vinegar based). The sauce on the ribs wasn't overly memorable. The brisket was sadly dry. If I were to do it again, I would have just gotten the dry ribs and catfish combo rather than an entire catfish nugget order with my combo. read more

I have eaten at Corky's Ribs & BBQ several times and I have to be totally honest for this visit. I ordered the BBQ Beef Dinner plate. This was the worst food I have ever ordered from Corky's. The BBQ beef was so tough that I had to place it in the oven to cook for some additional time.The coleslaw which came with the dinner was actually like raw cabbage ( SMH ). The BBQ beans didn't have any flavor at all. I was also shocked at the price has increased from $15 plus tax to $22 plus tax. Ive found that Ribs To Go may not be as tender as they are onsite, even though Ive given feedback that my previous order may not have been the best. Corkys was one of my favorites at one point in time. Things have changed so much. I went today and ordered a regular size pulled pork sandwich and an order of fries. The pulled pork was so tough. It wasn't pulled at all. Just chunks of pork and fat. The fries were soggy and were in a brown bag smh I asked for extra sauce and they no longer have the packs anymore. It was a small container of bbq sauce. I really hope they can bounce back because with this level of service, they won't last. read more

Ordered a slab set up for 2 -- dry ribs. Also ordered 1 piece of catfish meal. The catfish was as delicious as always as were the beans. Unfortunately the ribs were very greasy -- nothing like we remember. It was so greasy that it had leaked through the bag -- the grease that is. The rolls are always good as well. Stick with the ribs... they tasted much better than they looked. Skip the brisket... I didn't even try it and asked for something else. They looked way too dry and would never pass a "bend test" if their lives depended on it. The host/waiter was very nice and accommodating. It's been at least 5 years since I've been back. The waitress was nice and food was ok, nothing great. But the worse thing was when we received the check. We got the wrong food (pork sandwich was ordered but we received the beef so the order wasn't entered in correctly) and instead of fixing it right away, we were told the manager needed to talk to us. 45 min later and the the manager never showed up. We said we would just pay, and the waitress apologized profusely. Mistakes happens and it's fine to get things fixed or talk it out, but to have a manager not talk the customers and make them wait shows how poor this establishment is run.
