I love Bird's Heated C1 Yoga class on Sundays at 6p!!! I have never loved a yoga class more than I do for Bird's class. Bird turns the heat and humidity on, but because his classes are usually packed, he will turn the heat down about 15 minutes in and all the heat in the room is due to everyone's hard work. Bird plays classic rock during his class and he has us go through sun salutations quickly. I like this a lot because if I hold a pose too long, my mind starts to wander and think about things I need/have to after class or for the coming week. But Bird's flow keeps me engaged in class and doesn't give me that option to have my mind go outside the class. I love Bird's class and would be deeply saddened if he stopped teaching it. read more

I love core power yoga and especially this studio. There are many tenured instructors for all formats who really take care in formatting their classes and making sure that you are moving safely + effectively in class, in addition to having fun and creating a sense of community. They do offer a free full week for new members, in addition to discounts for your first all access month and permanent discounts if you work in education, healthcare or are a student. Highly recommend if you're looking to make a real physical and mental transformation + find community. read more

I have been a member of CorePower for 15 years and have loved every day of it- the community, the teachers, the classes. For the past six months, either the humidity or heat has been broken and it has been incredibly disappointing that corporate doesn't seem to care. We pay a lot of money for heat and humidity at this location and it makes a HUGE difference in the experience. This is very disappointing and is forcing members , including myself, to look elsewhere for heated yoga. read more

I tried out CorePower for the first time this week with a friend since we wanted to go to hot yoga and it was nearby. The facilities are really clean, but other than that, I don't think I would come here regularly and the class I did didn't really turn me into a fan of CorePower. The hot yoga class was 75 minutes and the class was pretty packed. I think that is just a problem that's going to continue because I see in past reviews this problem has been persistent. Also CorePower seems to really focus on the physical aspects of yoga, and I think people primarily go for the fitness part. I also felt that the instructor was kind of off putting and I didn't like the way she was talking to people there. One woman almost passed out in class, and she seemed to place blame on her. Just wasn't a big fan of this place and won't come here again. Also the prices are steep here, so no thanks. read more

I tried CorePower last week & am so glad I did. It's so different from my current studio, which really helped me compare & contrast different experiences I could be having at each! I went to a CorePower 2 class & I will say this is more than likely not the class for newbies (even if you're comfortable in your yoga practice.) The instructor was great & very reassuring throughout the whole class. My new favorite phrase is "Yes You Can!" However there were a lot of times I truly did not think I could. I actually stepped out for a moment because I was so overheated & what felt like overworked. This specific class is very high intensity & starts VERY hot. I currently do hot yoga, but something about the room & the degree just made it to wear I immediately started sweating just stepping into the room (not being dramatic.) Although these were the tough realities of this class, I truly just don't think it was a good starter class for me at this studio, due to not having known the temp it would be or the intensity of the class. HOWEVER, the vibe was there. The locker rooms were a nice change of pace from what I'm used to & although it was a busy parking lot, I was still able to secure a spot close enough that I felt safe leaving at dark. I will more than likely not be attending this specific studio since there are others closer to me, but I will say I am looking forward to trying CorePower again, but maybe a different class this time. Happy I went! read more

Love this studio! I have been going for 2 years and all of the classes and teachers are excellent. Every class is heated so yo can get deeper into your poses and burn more. I love the variety of classes - from traditional hot bikram, to "C2" vinyasa flow, to yoga sculpt which is a fast-paced, small weight-lifting based class with cardio! The teachers are so helpful with adjustments and alway give you a nice stories or quotes to ponder about at the beginning class to get you into the spiritual and meditative aspects of yoga. The studios and locker rooms are also much bigger than a lot of other studios, even CorePowers, that I have been to. For hot yoga, I love going to Julie W or Emily's classes, they are fantastic! For Vinyasa/C2 my favorite teachers are Cindy and Bryn - their guidance and queues they give in such a calm, relaxing way but they make you work and learn really awesome peak poses! Great studio with great teachers! read more

CorePower Yoga - Park Meadows - Yoga Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Met a friend for a wed afternoon class with Bird. Bird- amazing teacher! Great technique and use of terminology. Definitely hard to get to thru traffic, but nice parking lot. Locker room is definitely tight, and no way to lock your things up. I definitely enjoyed the class, but it was a bit stressful with the traffice and fear of the doors being locked! The one downer was the single student who decided to take it upon herself to reprimand us for wispering before class (just like 3-5 other groups were doing) - she told us (and us only) we should be doing silent meditation... Oy. If she's a regular, i'd probably skip that location. read more

Meh. The instructor was good it ends there. The cold lavender towels at the end raised this from a 2-star review to a 3-star average experience. The studio - not so much. Does CPY cap classes ever? I HATE having my neighbor so close to me that his/her extremities and sweat droplets are physically ON my mat. I cannot zen out between the stink (these studios all smell) and the close proximity I am to my neighbor. I want my space damnit. I'm not renewing my membership due to this repetitive issue that seems to be pervasive throughout CPY studios. Please start capping classes out of respect for your patrons. At $22 a pop I expect more. read more

During my week trial period I had James and Emily for 75-minute Hot Yoga, and Joni and Lisa for Yoga Sculpt. All were wonderful and brought their own unique energy to the class. I enjoyed every single session and the workout was wonderful- way more sweat, calories burnt, and rewarding/cleansing feeling afterwards than I get with my normal workouts at the gym. I was having some bad back/neck pain for a couple days before starting the trial and after two classes, the pain was gone! So that was a bonus. I would 100% recommend this place. The facilities are extremely nice and clean. Some more logistical info... Mat rental is $2. You can also rent towels. The locker rooms have bathrooms, lockers, and showers. There are two studios. Get to class on time because they lock the door while class is in session. If you're new, get there a little early. If you're new to "hot" classes... Make a goal at the beginning of class- maybe to stay in the room the whole time, or to attempt every pose. If you feel lightheaded during definitely don't be scared to take a break and a swig of water! Speaking of water, HYDRATE beforehand. Seriously. Do not come to class with no water to sweat out of your body because you're going to sweat like you haven't sweated since high school two-a-days on a 100-degree football field. At the end of each class they give you a delicious cold scented cloth to use as you please (lots of people put it on their face) and towards the end of the class you just gotta focus on earning that little towel (lol). Yoga Sculpt is HARD! I felt super out of shape but loved it- felt like a fit warrior princess afterwards. Prior Yoga experience helps. read more

This is for Bird. The Bird. The real person, the instructor, not a bird. With my schedule, I can only go about twice a month. C1 style. Beginner. He is friendly, great attitude with us newbies. Helps just enough. Pushes just enough. Finds the perfect song. Keeps it real. I must go more often. I need to go more often. Keep it up Bird. Thank you. Oh, the new location is nice and super clean. read more

I'm back on the Corepower train. I can't stay away-what can I say. This is why I still love CPY- HOT HOT HOT Classes. Easy access-I can hit a CPY class no matter where I am in Denver. This is the studio closest to work, and it's easy for me to hop on 470 to get home. The studio is small, but very well heated, and it doesn't ever get crowded. Check out Bird's C2 or Sarah's C2 classes. You will leave happy and drenched! read more

I'm so glad I trekked it to the south location for my one week trial. This studio is much more spacious. The locker rooms are spacious and the studio is more spacious. I had the pleasure of taking a C2 class from Jill. She is so good!!! Her routine was challenging but she is so encouraging and motivating. She alone is worth the trip south. Thanks Jill! read more

I've been taking yoga classes here for about three weeks now and have really enjoyed myself. They offer a good amount of various different classes at convenient times and I've really liked all the teaches I've tried so far: Amber, Bird, James and Joanna have all had different styles and have good energy in class. I leave feeling like I got a good workout from all of their classes and never get bored because there are so many different types to choose from. Everyone I've met is super welcoming and encouraging and I'm always motivated to try my best there. The space is really small, but I've never felt claustrophobic and it's always been neat and clean when I've gone to class. The yoga studio is nice and bright and I've never felt jammed in to a corner even when class is at full capacity. The air doesn't get all muggy and gross during class either. There's also a good amount of parking right up front. I signed up for the unlimited plan because I enjoy going so much. read more

Byrd was great. My friend and I were in town for quite awhile on business and had the opportunity to attend one of his level I classes. Though I have been practicing yoga for some time this class was a good jumpstart as I had not been for the past couple weeks. The class was mostly first time yogis and Byrd did a great job tailoring to their needs while still engaging more practiced attendees. Byrd also invited us back for his free Sunday class...great customer service. The facilities in the studio were clean, well kept, and thorough. Free lockers, 2 showers w/ shampoo supplied, towel service...so far they were the best facilities I have experienced at a yoga studio during my travels. I would definitely recommend this place and if I have the time I plan on attending again. Namaste. read more

I'm a diehard Corepower fan! I've only been to this studio once, for a donation class. There's only one room, and it's spacious and full of natural light. Conveniently located off of C-470, plenty of parking, friendly instructors...another win for Corepower! read more

Well I am a newbie to yoga, and I also live in Chicago. I was here only for a night. This location was close to the hotel I'm staying. I am in the middle of a free trial week, this is my 3rd yoga sculpt class. Well I really enjoyed the class at this site. Kimber was the instructor, she is kind to newbies, but don't get it twisted, she makes you work! I have never in my life sweated that much. The class was packed. The tunes were invigorating! But Kimber's motivating catch phrases, is really what pushed us through! The BEST part is the cold lavender and lilac washcloth she places besides you after your core workout is complete... It literally is equivalent to a slice of cake! Don't believe me... Try her class! I wish every site had this little treat at the end! read more

I have been practicing yoga on/off for 12 years but consistently for the past 5 years and this is by far my favorite studio. The community is absolutely amazing and nothing less than stellar! I adore how intimate the studio feels and look forward to seeing all my fellow yogis everyday! I mostly take CP2, HPF and Sculpt classes but there are hardly any instructors that I dislike! Yes, I have my favorites but who doesn't?!?! One of my favorites OF ALL TIME is Catherine. If you have a chance to take Catherine's class, please do yourself a favor and see her! Her classes are so well thought out, meaningful, methodical, attentive, technical, spiritual and when everyone leaves her class you can tell everyone feels the same and is on Cloud 9! I've met other yogis that travel from all around Denver to take her class! Her style of teaching lends her class to be more than just a yoga class, go see for yourself, you'll be so happy/thankful you did! Catherine and this studio feed my soul...thank you CP Park Meadows! P.S. my other faves are Bird, Angie, Kellyn, Wendy, Emily, Mary, Amber and obviously Catherine!! read more

There are some really good yoga teachers that teach here then you stumble upon a few that you watch out for not attend there classes. Overall, I like Corepower because you are able to switch up your classes with Yoga sculpt (yoga with weights) Hot Yoga (very similar to bikram), Power fusion (blend of Hatha and flow) etc. I leave each class very sweaty and satisfied that I got a good workout. If you are look for yoga for more of a spiritual, calming outlet, corepower might not be for you. read more

This place was awesome! Sundays are free beginners classes. I never knew Yoga could be so powerful. I am totally going back!

I didn't like yoga until I tried CP. Now I'm hooked and so is my husband. As I think other Yelpers have probably stated, each studio is a little different. E.g. suburbs vs city or teacher vs teacher. What's great is that there are so many classes and locations that you can always find one. read more

LOVE this studio. It's so clean and such a great size studio that it never feels crowded even with so many people! Special shoutout to Emily! She is an absolute amazing guide to my practice every single time. Her energy in the room is contagious and what I love most about her is that she always tells us to take a break and listen to our bodies when needed throughout the class. I have taken many classes with different instructors and I don't think they say that enough! I always come out of her class feeling more energetic than when I started! read more

I come to this one & the Highlands Ranch CPY a lot. Love this place & the instructors. My faves here so far are the Sat AM Hot & Mon AM sculpt. I try to avoid the PM classes here though b/c of the small space in the locker room. read more

Visiting. Loved everything about the studio. Intensely challenging and beautifully sequenced class. Clean. Super nice. Loved it

Now this is the way to do a yoga studio! A new building for this location and two beautiful studios to choose from. Classes and their teachers all vary but after 6 weeks I have yet to have a bad class. The C2 classes are Vinyasa flow, warm (about 95 degrees), and more challenging than the C1 with varying times to fit your schedule. The Hot classes top out between 103 - 105 degrees and range from 75 minutes to the full 90. A great workout whatever you choose, and offering classes to challenge your practice regardless of whether you're new to yoga or an experienced yogi. read more

I love Corepower Yoga! Although I have been to many yoga studio's and tried many yoga styles before, I am hooked on every class they have here! The South Denver/Park Meadows location is a great, small, intimate studio that doesn't get quite as crowded as some other studios. If you have the chance to take any class here try one of Bird's classes, and you'll be hooked! Or if you want to sweat buckets and get an awesome workout try a YogaSculpt class. I love Corepower and this location especially! read more

I love CPY!!! They helped me get my flat toned tummy back after two babies! I thought it was impossible LOL! But the instructors are all AMAZING and help you and really really PUSH you. Their hot classes are AMAZING! You can't lock the lockers so make sure you leave your wedding bling at home or in your locked car :) read more

McYoga! They pack them into their small studios and it's AWEFUL. The teachers are good but they can't do their job because they allow way too many people in a class. Cut off the Hot Yoga class with at least 10 less people . . . read more

eww don't bother with this horrible place. went there for a 6:00am class and carried in my work clothes. I set them down for a second to check in and proceeded to the women's locker room. When i walked back out the teacher actually asked me if i planned on paying for the shirt i brought into the locker room and asked me to bring it back out. so i brought back out my work shirt to show him i didn't steal anything. He never even apologized. That is how this studio treats their students. Don't bother find a real yoga studio who remembers what Yoga is all about. This place is the WALMART of denver yoga studios. And that is not a compliment. read more

I love this studio! I am there everyday for at least 1 class. The teachers are awesome and the classes are always challenging. I get a great workout at every class. The cold lemon-lavender washcloths is a very refreshing way to end class. Sometimes the studio does free foundation classes and these classes are a great way for beginners. This studio rocks! read more
