This studio space is really small. I would strongly suggest getting changed beforehand as there is only one bathroom... it gets pretty crowded after a class. However, being in an area like Fenway that makes sense as it's a very $$$ area -- I came here on a Friday evening and it was so worth it as after class there is so much to do in an area like Fenway! Took my first class here which was a Yoga sculpt and loved it (I love CPY in general haha)! read more

So smelly and they pack everyone so tightly together you can't even do the movements. They frequently overbook until there is no space from your map to the persons next to you. Will never be going back, it's truly a disgusting experience. read more

Meets all expectations of a CorePower studio! If you are familiar with CorePower, you know it is heated yoga with several different class types - Yoga Sculpt (sun salutations with weights and 80% bodyweight strength training/conditioning with some cardio bursts), C2 (level 2 yoga), Hot Power Fusion (balance, extra heat), etc. Just FYI - based on my experience, this studio specifically is roughly 70% Yoga Sculpt classes, 25% C2, 5% HPF, so this might not be the best studio if you are looking for "true" yoga, since this studio focuses more on sculpt. The studio is heated to about 92-95 deg F the times that I have been there. They have classes starting about 9am and the latest ends at 8pm or so during weekdays and a few morning classes on weekend. Sometimes the classes are packed, but often the classes have fewer than 10 students which is nice. Plenty of teachers in the schedule so you can experience different sequences. Remember to bring your own mat, water bottle, and towel (you will need the towel!), or you pay extra for those. Sign up online ahead of time! Bonus: they often have packets of Nuun at the front desk that you can grab as well as extra hair ties :) read more

This studio has nice amenities and very friendly instructors. I just wish there was more of a balance between the different class types. The vast majority of the classes on the schedule appear to be Yoga Sculpt, which personally is not my favorite because doing cardio and strength in a heated room is just not my preference. If you like that class type, this studio would be great for you! read more

I love bikram yoga so when I heard that corepower yoga was heated I was intrigued. If I go to bikram yoga hungover I always feel like I'm going to pass out. I can survive coreyoga if I'm sorta hungover so that's a huge plus! CorePower Yoga has the perfect amount of heat (guessing 95ish). I really like their Yoga Sculpt classes. The teachers are VERY different and some work you much harder than others. It would be nice if there was a bit more uniformity to the classes but now that I have tried different teachers I only go to their classes. I recommend Maya, Gabby, and Kelly for sculpt classes that may leave you sore the day after! Pros: The studio is SO CLEAN. Friendly staff & instructors Classes are easy to follow Decent workout Cons: EXPENSIVE Can't be used as your sole workout option, definitely need cardio No sign ups before class. It gets really crowded during peak hours ( after work). They have a 1 week free trial option for all new visitors. They also have Gilt/Groupon vouchers for a month at a discounted price, and promotional giftcards ($80 for $100). I would get a class pack and go once in a while now that my unlimited month is over. Overall, I would recommend coreyoga to yoga newbies. I've never had a teacher adjust my form so I think hardcore yoga people would not find this the best place to practice. read more

I have been a blacktag member since this place opened, going there is an integral part of my week. The things I don't like are; first, temperature can be very variable, some classes I'm dying from the humidity, others it's tolerable, I have exercise induced asthma so it would be nice to know if I would need my inhaler upfront. Second, the classes are at the same time every freaking day, like it's impossible to catch a core strength if I leave work pass 4:45. A little change every other day would be nice Third, this is the BIG one; this studio lacks a lot of the "yoga community" feeling. There seems to be always the girls who are friends with the trainer, so it's impossible to be impeded in the yogi community as a new commer. Even though your trainer will say "I will be outside to chat let me know what you like and what you don't like" your trainer will be chatting with the same girls who were sitting at the front row and who are there almost every day. You won't be able to share your experience openly or talk about your strength, weakness and the best thing you can hope for is Get a goodbye from the trainer. I feel I'm not improving partially because of this vibe. Lastly, for the love of god have some later classes on either Saturday or Sunday. Some of us actually love working out at 6pm on a weekend. Other than that, I love this place I come here every other day or every three days. Highly recommend Juliana or Mary read more

If you're a new member to CorePower yoga, definitely sign up for their free first week! I tried out the C2, yoga sculpt, and hot power fusion classes during my free week there. C2 classes are heated and follow a traditional vinyasa flow with little tweaks depending on your instructor. It's quite fast paced! I loved Stephen on Wednesday afternoon. I'm the type of yogi who likes to get a workout of my classes and Stephen's class was what I needed. He focused on strengthening and toning while getting your heart rate up. C2 is an all levels class so if you want to add any inversions or variations, you're welcome to do so. You will SWEAT. Yoga sculpt is very similar to pilates with weights added. There are a couple of times where mountain climbers and squat jumps were added for cardio. This class focused on toning and cardio. Hot power fusion is essentially bikram yoga where you do a number of poses and hold it in a 100 degree room. Very challenging! It really challenged my balance and posture. read more

Pre pandemic, I loved Core Power Yoga. Post pandemic, Core Power Yoga's customer service is not what it used to be. I went to a Sculpt class tonight at the Fenway studio, and the instructor did not show which was incredibly frustrating. Also, the class selections are still very limited - not what they were pre pandemic. No one from the Studio has been able to give me an answer as to when they will increase. As a monthly member, I often struggle to find classes that work for my schedule in a convenient location. read more

Visited this studio during my stay in Boston. Upon arrival, I was told I would get a week completely free. The woman at the front desk introduced herself and stated that she she would be teaching the class and that it would be the hottest class they had. She offered tips to get through and asked my experience with hot yoga in my life. The class was an hour long and such a great experience. The class incorporated balance poses, leg and abs work, savasana at the end, etc. truly amazing. Left feeling so calm and refreshed! read more

Anna's an INCREDIBLE instructor, by far my FAVE. Took her Yoga sculpt class on Thursday nights--challenging with great coaching, even for noobs. Left my quads and glutes sore for days. Sign up for Anna's class! :) read more

I just finished my first week at this new studio and it has been great. The staff is very welcoming, the vibe in classes is sweaty and fun. The instructors are upbeat and try to make every class an experience. So far I have taken 3 classes, two core power 2 classes (more of a traditional vinyasa flow) and yoga sculpt (fusion of some yoga and a cardio/plyometrics/weights workout). The studio is worth checking out if you are interested! read more

I've now been going regularly to this studio for the past 8 months and thought I'd update my review. I had previously stated that it was frustrating not being able to sign up for a class ahead of time. However, I have grown to actually like this feature; no signing up ahead of time means that there is no cancellation fee or anything binding. I get to go to yoga whenever I feel like it, and that's what yoga is supposed to be! No pressure! In terms of the crowdedness of the weeknight CPY2 classes - still crowded. I've gone to a handful of those now, and subsequently stick to weekend classes due to the less crowded nature (my preference). The weekend classes are great. Someone else here mentioned that the weeknight classes can be clique-y, and I agree that tends to be true on weeknights, but not as much on weekends. There has been a lot of teacher turnover. They are all probably college or graduate students from the area. For some of these girls, it is clear that they have completed the CPY teacher training program and they probably do not have extensive yoga experience beyond that. However, my cynicism regarding their naivete is usually proven wrong with each new teacher I meet. Maybe it's the studio heat or just the calmness and non-judgmental nature of yoga itself, but all of my teachers have been warm, genuine, helpful, and most importantly, good at creating a welcoming atmosphere. I even dragged my husband to one class and he said afterward that he was impressed. He thought that it would feel more "chain-ey," "basic," and "cult-like" but he was pleasantly surprised to feel like he could've been in any yoga studio, anywhere in the city. (And yes, like me, he does have a decent level of prior yoga experience.) Again, my positive experiences are mostly applicable to weekend classes only. I'd also like to echo another reviewer's call to change up the schedule sometimes. Some CPY1 classes after work hours on weeknights would be great! read more

I had only done yoga a few times in my life, but decided to try CorePower Yoga after my friend raved about the Yoga Sculpt class. I am so so glad I tried it!! Yoga Sculpt is amazing and just what I needed. As a runner, I was looking for something that would allow me to build muscle and this class leaves me sore every time! Also tried their candlelight CorePower 2 class and I really enjoyed it. All the staff at this location is super friendly and welcoming! I never once felt out of place. I highly recommend this studio! Update: Just signed up for the monthly pass and took an 8am Yoga Sculpt class with Andrea Sa. It's been my favorite class by far!! Super tough workout and great music! I loved that she played Hispanic music. Will definitely be attending every class of hers I can. If you're considering this studio, definitely check out one of her classes! read more

I like coming here but I really wish they wouldn't pack people in like sardines during peak hours. It makes it really hard to stretch out and enjoy the class. And how can the teacher possibly observe everyone to make sure they are being safe? read more

This studio is 95% college age women in its classes, and they also turn the music way up in class and it feels more like a dance or calisthenics class. I prefer more of a quiet class to bring my mind into focus, and focus more on the yoga. I'm not saying its wrong, just that it is engineered more as a fun activity, rather than traditional yoga you might know and expect. On the plus side, since there are so few men, there is enormous room to shower and change. I can give them an A+ on the available room in the waiting room and changing room for men. read more

I had the pleasure of dropping into Yoga Sculpt this morning with Sarah. Had never been to a CorePower Yoga studio before and was greeted so enthusiastically and kindly by Sarah herself. The class was great as I had no idea what to expect but what a fun workout! Sarah was a great teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed the hour. Thank You : ) read more
