I tried the free week of Corepower Yoga and it was totally worth it! I took a range of classes throughout the week and here is my breakdown. Overall, I enjoyed all of the instructors. The first class I tried was Yoga Sculpt, my favorite class overall. It's slightly heated with high cardio and weights. This one made me sweat and sore! It was a great workout. The second class I took was Corepower Yoga 1, which is low-intensity and focuses on yoga postures. I did like this, especially after the intense yoga sculpt class. This class wasn't heated. The third class I took here was CSX, which is a Corepower Strength X class. This one for me was the most difficult. It focuses on weight lifting and HIIT training. This class is only 45 minutes long and not directly heated. The last class I did was Hot Yoga, which was extremely hot! The temp is around 105 for an hour of yoga poses. This class was the most I have ever sweat. Overall, if you haven't tried the free week with Corepower, you definitely should. There is a lot to offer for everyone! read more

As a New Year's resolution, I'm pretty glad that I stuck to this commitment. So far, I've done almost 10 classes, and I couldn't be more happier with my new balance in life. No pun intended. I will say, Michelle is one of my favorite instructors by far. She definitely caught me off guard when she called out my name indicating that she liked my adjustments, and that motivated me to do better in class. I like instructors who are able to notice that students are trying and making the best out of their practices. So thank you, for encouraging me to continue. Tried out a free week of Core Power classes this year. I've been doing yoga for years and years, but I've never tried Core Power before. They have a great class line up and the facilities are really nice. The instructors are good and the flow of the classes is nice. I like the mixup of some classes that involve weights as well. I just wish that the price wasn't quite so high. If you have the time to take a lot of classes, the cost isn't that bad. But knowing I can only get there 1-2 times a week, it's a little too much for me. read more

I have been practicing yoga for many years. I came to Core power for the first time, the hot fusion class. Since it is an amalgamated class and poses, I didn't know some of the poses. I let the instructor know it is my first class and that I have lower back issues. She told me to take a couple of blocks. Never used them before., so I was hoping she would guide me. At no point during the class did the instructor help me position the blocks or assisted me in the new poses. This is basics of helping newcomers. I had to look around me at other participants and copy them, not knowing if they are doing it right. so instead of being in the pose i was busy looking around and to add insult to injury i was in agony that evening with my back. It was really disappointing. In the past, in other studios, the instructor would always ask if there are new people and just keep an eye on them if they needed assistance, or back issues and help them adjust, so they don't hurt themselves. At the end of the class, the instructor asked me how it went. I prefer to give a feedback positively rather than write a review.so I very politely told her that it would have been helpful had she assisted me with some of the poses to ensure I am doing it correctly. Her response was dismissive and negative. She said she is not demonstrating all the poses, which is fine, but she should assist newcomers. then she said I should watch other people. How do i know they are doing it right? oh and lastly she said I should go on the internet and research the poses. Really? all she had to do is listen to my concerns and maybe realize there is some merit to them . Her attitude was enough to make me never want to go back . and which is why I am writing this review. read more

Love this place! My favorite classes are the Hot Yoga and the C2 with Dake on Sundays (he is a blast and a customer favorite - so definitely catch one of his classes), he is great about giving modifcations for your level as well. The Hot Yoga class is extremely popular here (especially on Monday nights) so you will want to arrive early. Always friendly staff, clean location, good parking. I really enjoy this studio. The instructors have been friendly, and most of them are very knowledgeable and engaged in their classes. I enjoy a little more traditional yoga, but appreciate the benefits of the heated power flow style of core power. If you are looking to really dive into the physical strength of a yoga practice these classes are great for that. This was the most incredible experience I have had in my young adult life! I was delighted by the clean and welcoming reception area , the smell of scented aroma, and Julie who was the Yoga instructor and greeter when I walked through the door. This studio was truthfully beautiful! It has bathrooms with lockers, showers and the most adorable array of products for your use. However in comparison when you check out their website every class is about $20. So if you invest in an upgrade you get UNLIMITED access to any classes in ANY of their locations! I usually go to a different location, but tonight's class worked out well with my crazy schedule. I really enjoyed the Thursday night class, the music was perfect, temp was hot (the way I like it) and the energy was amazing! Just what I needed. I've been really stressed out a lot lately with being a mommy entrepreneur, part time business accounting and balancing it all with the family and I also need to get back in shape. I plan on coming here every week! The teacher was amazing, I got a little back massage while stretching, it was awesome! The lavender cold face towel towards the end hit the spot! I love coming to CorePower. I started out with no experience and over time with the really nice instructors, I've developed into a yogi. They have some great classes. That Hot Yoga class though is my favorite/least favorite. Talk about suffering, but it's all good and you get a good detox out of it. I'm still getting used to it. It's like living in Miami. I feel the teachers are very thorough and they mention subtle details about certain muscles that make me have that "aha" moment. A previous reviewer said that they should have a lock...why? We're all adults here and soming rushing in is an act of kindness to give them a space and to understand that we all are one. Namaste. read more

This is probably my favorite Corepower in the area and I've gone to about 7-10 of them. The instructors are AMAZING. My favorites are Trisha, Ashley, and Ellen. I regularly go to classes at about 3 studios in the area and I feel that the teachers here are definitely a notch above the other studios.There is only one yoga room but it is quite spacious and even in a filled class, there is still quite a bit of room and I have never felt packed like a sardine. Tons of parking and conveniently located near a Safeway in the same shopping center which is nice to have. My favorite part is the lemon lavender cold washcloth given at the end of classes. They do this at all of the south Denver CP studios and it is amazing! It sounds so simple but it is honestly so refreshing after a rigorous class. This is not the closest CP location but I go here the most often because of the instructor quality and the washcloth at the end. read more

This is my favorite Corepower location. It's new, clean, well kept, and has a large studio. Parking is great. Linda's Hot Yoga session was awesome, the 75 minutes went so fast. We got cold washcloths at the end of class and it was an awesome touch. I've never gotten that anywhere else. She also showed some neat variations, learned a ton. read more

Since starting my yoga practice about two months ago, I can honestly say that it has changed my life. I cannot say enough good things about this studio. The studio is clean and their staff is welcoming. I love all of their classes but my favorite is Hot Power Fusion with Ellen. The cold lemon towels make the experience delightful. I'm so lucky to live so close. I've tried a different class everyday and each instructor has something great to add. I love that every class has some kind of music and so far all of the classes have been hot. Not sure if it's intentional but I love it. It's easy to work up a sweat in any of these classes. The owner Michelle T is easy going and a beast in the studio all at the same time. I am impressed with everything here. Yoga is expensive but so worth it. I just tried the sculpt class...it was a butt kicker!!! Hoping to find a way to keep a regular practice at this clean and convenient facility. read more

This CorePower studio is the perfect place to get your yoga on. Students range from beginner to super yogi. All shapes and sizes are welcome. My favorite classes are C1 and hot yoga, with any teacher. I have a great time and get centered. The last time I took a yoga class was probably 20 years ago. It was hot yoga and I hated it! I thought, never again. I took up running instead and over the last 5-6 years have been dealing with ongoing injuries. Heard that yoga was a great compliment to running so I figured why not give it another try. For starters, I could not believe how tight I was and how weak my core was! This was a huge eye opener. I have been going now for about a month. I always thought yoga was not going to be a rigorous enough work out for me, boy, I could not have been more wrong. It really is an amazing workout. Not only am I gaining flexibility, my running feels easier and lighter (foot issues are slowly going away) and I am sleeping better. I love it! This studio is great, close to home, and the staff is wonderful. Although, I have tried other Corepower and the experience has been the same where ever I go. Total recommend! read more

I joined Corepower with a Groupon, and have been hooked ever since! I loved that I got a free week of unlimited classes for being a new member and with so many locations across the city, trying new classes was a breeze! They have a variety of early morning and late evening classes to fit my crazy schedule, and Jen-the manager of the Aurora studio- was FANTASTIC in assisting to custom fit a membership for my needs. I go to Corepower every day and am never disappointed. The teachers are always very approachable, personable, and knowledgable. They offer hands on assistance if I want it, and always acknowledge me by name. In addition, they offer tons of members rewards events and promotions. I love this studio! read more

I can't speak highly enough about his location! I've been to many different locations and this is by far my favorite! It's my home studio and I wouldn't have it any other way. The teachers are fabulous and they don't pressure you to do every single pose. The teachers I regularly take class from always say, "Do what feels good and what your body needs." It's not an intimidating environment and you aren't judged. All levels are welcomed and they accommodate for those who are less experienced or more advanced. The lemon lavender cold wash cloth peace offering they give you at the end of class is a game changer! All locations should do this because it really is the best! I love that they only have one room because it's large and you don't have the commotion of other classes going on at the same time. I can't imagine trying to take a Core Restore class with a Sculpt class going on next to you (Yes, that occurs in other locations). The place is great. But, I agree with another reviewer. No late admittance should be allowed. I left my gym yoga classes because this was tolerated and it was disruptive and rude. I pay a lot of money for classes at this studio to practice and it is unacceptable to allow late entrance once classes have begun. read more
