The teacher, Nancy (who was filling in for the day) was excellent at explaining how to transition and set up for each pose. She provided hands on corrections (which I desperately needed) and encouragement. The class (yoga level 1) was manageable and definitely gave me a good stretch. Many props were provided to help achieve different poses. The studio itself is in a bright and airy classroom. There are options to join the class online live which I think is an excellent option. Breath Of Life has an app where you can customize your schedule, classes and her studio is literally open 7 days a week!! I really enjoy the app because it's easy to navigate and there are sooo many instructors on there which is flexible. I love that they have classes at 8:00pm latest. they are open pretty early from 5:30am. She is literally dedicated to making one's lifestyle healthy. I really enjoy how close her business is close to the area and I don't have to drive far to get to her.

Before we began, she examined my scalp and introduced the equipment she would be using, which I found really interesting. I was happy to learn that I have strong, thick hair. For oils, I chose the clear bottle that everyone seemed to recommend, along with bergamot. The massage itself was fantastic--just the right amount of pressure to release tension and knots. When we moved to the second room, I laid on the massage chair, which was incredibly comfortable and made me feel like I was on cloud nine. The entire hour-plus session felt magical and passed by way too quickly. My only minor critique would be the eye mask that was offered. It felt a bit tingly and caused a slight burning sensation around my eyes--not unbearable, but noticeable. I later found out my friend chose the unscented version and experienced a similar experience. Afterwards, we returned to the seating area for a follow-up scalp check. While they blow-dried our hair, we were treated to complimentary tea and baklava from the shop next door, which was delicious and exactly what I needed. During my sister's massage, her therapist told her to remove her underwear because she said it was "too tight." There was nothing wrong with asking if she was comfortable removing it, but the way it was said was rude, disrespectful, and made my sister feel uncomfortable. The biggest issue was that the two massage therapists spent most of our appointments talking to each other in their own language. Instead of enjoying a peaceful, relaxing massage, we had to listen to their conversation throughout most of the session. We couldn't relax because they were constantly talking, and it felt unprofessional. We also noticed that our massages ended in less than 50 minutes, even though we paid for a full hour. To top it off, they demanded a minimum 20% tip. I gave my therapist a $20 cash tip, and they charged my sister another $20 on her credit card. Since the massage was $70, that's far more than 20%. I have no problem tipping generously for great service, but tips should never be expected or demanded--especially when the service was rushed and unprofessional. Between the rude behavior, the constant talking during the massage, the shortened session, and the pressure to tip, this was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and professional massage.

Honestly I come for the foot reflexology , along with the fully clothed body massage, a 90 minute massage. First, your feet are soaking in clean hot water and you're laying back relaxed. She might start with a head and face and neck massage while your feet soak. Then she starts with your feet and legs and pressure points that help to relax and calm your body. Even just the foot massage allows the rest of your body to relax and you can feel the knots or the muscles that were tight in your back, legs and arms. start to loosen. Then you move to the higher table , and lay face down while she massages you from head to toe. I cannot get off the table quickly when she's done. I have to lay there a few minutes longer and take deep breaths. I move into the yoga baby position and stretch my back before I roll over to sit up on the side of the massage table and still take a moment to step onto the floor. I slowly gather my things. Put on my glasses, put on my shoes and I can't ever stop telling her , thank you.
