Korean BBQ Tofu Bowl + Mandarin Cardamom Drink
Dana S.

Have been coming here on occasion since it opened years ago and the menu has expanded but everything I liked at the beginning is still there, and the quality has been very consistent. Lots of choices for tasty and healthy meals. There's plenty of meat choices but it's also vegan friendly. You can order off the menu or customize your own bowl, and small modifications to menu items (like swapping the protein, the dressing, or base) are possible. I really like their fresca drinks, they have some interesting flavours. Generally the staff is friendly and efficient. They should probably clean tables more often, at least when they're not busy, since all but one of the booth tables was dirty when I was there this time. Since it looks like management reads reviews - I remember there used to be actual reusable bowls and silverware here, but now it's disposable bowls and cutlery only. I wish they'd bring the reusables back.

This was a Buffalo Chicken Taco, a corn shell.

It was amazing! I had the Buffalo Chicken Taco, And I also got the Spicy Thai chicken and noodles. The service was quick, and we got to the front of the line in less than 5 minutes.

Food was decent but at $18 (including grapefruit seltzer water) seems a bit expensive for a "bowl" at a fast food place. Staff were quite helpful trying to gauge the "degree of heat" in the spicy Thai chicken & rice noodle bowl but we all agreed that is a personal judgement. For my taste, I said wisely said no to the spicy broccoli and subbed carrots mostly because nothing let up on the heat. Could have picked a an option with more veggies. Watch the cost of extra premium add ins that add up fast. Outdoor seating is nice but a wee bit grimy; don't think to hard about it. It's fine but there are better pseudo-healthy, fast-ish options in town to check out before you commit to a repeat visit. (Really wanted to vote 3.5 stars - four seemed to high, 3 seemed harsh).

Southwest Chicken

This was DoorDash delivery. Delivery was fast and accurate. I ordered the maple bacon Brussels sprouts bowl (on accident, I meant to order the side of Brussels sprouts, not the bowl. I also ordered the southwest chicken taco, the steak taco, and the Korean pork taco. The Brussels sprout bowl was fine. I only ate the sprouts, not the rest (rice, peppers, beans, quinoa). I didn't taste the maple bacon flavor at all. Large portion and a variety of contents, so anyone who orders a bowl from here should be pleased as long as the flavors are good. The tacos were pretty good, for being from a chain type restaurant (I had never heard of CoreLife before today). They are served on naan, which I like. I did think the southwest chicken taco was the Korean taco at first. It's supposed to be "spicy," but it was actually very salty. The steak taco was not overcooked, but it's just an average cut of meat with some veggies. The Korean pork was a little tough, but again, lots of veggies. I don't know if these veggies are fresh in house. I get the feeling some of them are prepackaged or canned/jarred, and for some things that's ok. This place has a ton of rice dishes, soup dishes, salads. Menu clearly marks vegetarian, dairy, egg items etc. I would try them again, and it's decent food, especially for the location I'm currently in, but this strikes me as a Panera-type chain that peddles itself as "healthy" while still not meeting that definition.

I prefer GoreLife to BushLife

Not to be confused with #GoreLife which is when you get an election stolen from you by the brother of your rival and a completely corrupt system. Extremely overrated chain and the only reason I give three stars for this particular location down in Vestal is that some of the items are fairly healthy and there's not too many amazing options - especially on the healthy side - in Binghamton. Having said that, this chain is overpriced and service is iffy and some of the products are not fresh at all, and it's a massive chain that's opened up very quickly - too quickly because the standard of food is not great at any of the locations I've been to so far. But a lot of people down here in Binghamton are crazy about it because it's trendy and a little bit hipster and healthy. Trust me it's not healthy. Not that healthy anyway. My Binghamton friends swear by it and I've been dragged to by SUNY Binghamton people twice. Hopefully there won't be a third time. The locations in Buffalo were more than enough for me. Meh.

I can't bring myself to give them a one star but I will continue to give two star reviews to Panera…read moreeverywhere until corporate gets it through their thick skulls that no one and I mean NO ONE wants to order a toasted bagel with butter TO GO and then get in the car and find hard as a rock butter that they then somehow need to figure out how to get onto the dang bagel. Worse if you are in a hurry and driving somewhere. Forget getting butter on that bagel! The whole idea behind having take out is you TAKE IT OUT AND EAT IT! Some places, including this location, will, if you remember to ask, butter your bagel BEFORE packing it away but it is hit or miss. This seems to be a corporate directive and I've complained to corporate who seems to not care one bit. Every blasted Panera I go to does the same thing with the only variance seeming to be the hard as a rock butter vs maybe a bit softer butter. I mean even if you wanted to butter than bagel you really can't because the butter is solid and impossible to spread. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS PANERA! BTW, the staff here is FANTASTIC and cheerful and wonderfully helpful. This isn't a knock against them just the way Panera corporate trains everyone. If I have one comment for staff please put the coffee in the dispensers in the same order every day all day. It is seemingly random how this is done and if you come often you get get used to certain things in certain places and then someone rips the rug out from under you and puts the hot water where the coffee belongs. Minor but details count.

Not sure exactly why, maybe too many other options where I do live. Anyway, we decided Panera was it. Parking lot was large, clean and easy to enter and park. Nice outside seating area as well. Entrance to the restaurant was clean and inviting and the display of baked goods in the glass case before us was indeed tempting. I did get two cookies to go for later after lunch. I ordered the half sandwich garden caprese and Mediterranean Chicken greens with grains. I can't decide which was more delicious. The salad had feta. Cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, Red peppers. Salad greens, grains and a lovely blob of hummus also a very nice light dressing. The caprese sandwich was really tasty. Everything on it melded into a party in each bite. I'd definitely order both of these again. Brother completely enjoyed his salad as well. I must digress, we ordered, got the electronic alert device and waited not more than 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready. Pretty darn quick and it was all correct. I will definitely consider going to my local Panera once back home. I actually feel like I've been missing out on some good stuff. Again, not sure exactly why I haven't been to Panera for so long, but as the Terminator says "I'll be back".

It was around 5:30pm on a Saturday and luckily there were plenty of tables still available. We started with the Buffalo Brussels Sprouts which I absolutely loved! These are some of the best Brussels sprouts I've had at a restaurant. The buffalo sauce was light and not overpowering and even the blue cheese dipping sauce (which I'm usually not a fan of) was pretty mild and paired well with the Brussels sprouts. A great start! We then shared the Large Rigatoni a la Vodka and added Meatballs to it. The Large is definitely enough for 2 people. The Rigatoni was cooked well and the vodka sauce was well balanced with the cream, tomatoes, garlic, and cheese. It wasn't anything spectacular but it hit the spot! My only complaint was for ~$6, I expected the meatballs to be larger than they were. The Meatballs had good flavor but for such a large bowl of pasta, it barely makes a difference. And those 3 meatballs should be $1 each at most, in my opinion. The Side Caesar Salad was a great pair with the pasta and for ~$3, very reasonably priced. All in all, worth stopping by if you're in town!
