I first called one Saturday morning last year with a potential emergency and he not only returned my call quickly, on the weekend, but explained things over the phone and was reassuring and knowledgeable. I knew then that I would be using his help for our future plumbing projects, and I truly couldn't be any happier with the work he completed today. It's not even 2 PM and he has finished three different plumbing jobs for me, even though one of them was major and involved cutting into tile (which many plumbers won't even attempt). My water is back up and running and I have a new shower valve, a new faucet, and a new anode rod on my hot water heater. All in less than six hours work. Ray's confidence and expertise with any job no matter how big or small is a true testament to his skill as a professional. And even though he gave me a head's up to move stuff out of the bathroom because the job could be messy, he still left an extremely clean work area in my opinion despite having to cut into the wall and tile. I am truly so impressed. For all the work he completed, I still felt that his prices were fair and reasonable. Overall, Ray is a very qualified and meticulous plumber and I would HIGHLY suggest that you contact him for all of your plumbing projects! At this point I wouldn't use anyone else. Ray is truly the real deal and a seasoned professional who takes pride in his work.

Mountain House Mechanical has been by far, without a doubt, the smoothest and most professional vendor I've ever hired. This was no small project. Mitsubishi mini-split system with two outdoor units and 6 indoor units. They took their time, the install was impeccable. Communication was superb. I first encountered Tyler's exceptional service when he arrived to repair my AC on the 4th of July…read more I was prepared to wait given the holiday, but his commitment to resolving the issue immediately was impressive. After a thorough inspection, he provided a temporary recharge that kept the system running perfectly for nearly a year. When the unit recently began acting up again, Tyler honored the warranty and returned to troubleshoot. When the initial fix didn't hold, he returned a third time--at no additional charge--to perform a final diagnostic. He concluded that a replacement was necessary and provided a very fair, transparent quote. Having worked for a contractor in Marin for years, I have high standards for tradespeople; Tyler & Mikayla's integrity, professionalism, and dedication to customer service are unmatched. He is now my sole recommendation for HVAC work.
