Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of working out, but as I've gotten older, put on some extra weight (thanks COVID) and now have a job working from home, I just don't get up and move around as much as I used to. I realized that my muscles are a lot weaker than they used to be, and I simply wasn't getting up and walking around enough anymore. So now I attend classes twice a week and I am always glad I went after the class is over. Every class is very individualized to what I need. I may be working on the same muscle groups as the person next to me, but the exercise is specialized to me in a way that fits my needs. Not everyone is in the same shape or has the same physical fitness needs, and APF customizes your workout to fit your individual needs. They always take into account any injuries I may have, and give me alternate exercises until I'm healed. Additionally the trainers are always so positive and encouraging! They show you the correct form and way to do each exercise, and encourage questions if you want help or clarification. They don't push me to do more than I am safely able to. Any pose can be modified for more or less difficulty. And Kanani is a master of relaxation and she has many interests that may include offering aromatherapy yoga in the future.
