Kristen, the wife of the owner, became belligerent, threatening us with a lawsuit if we reviewed them. They have only done one rendering, refusing to comply with a signed contract to complete the next two that are in the contract. They also refuse to reimburse any of the $699 we paid, even though they refuse to complete what was agreed upon in the signed contract. The BBB took this complaint, but as this company has done with the other complaints, they refuse to respond. I would stay clear of this company. The first rendering did not have proper posts that would even support the deck we wanted built. It looked like a kid did the rendering and they said it was because it was the first one. Well, I expected the first one to knock us off our feet since it was $699 and that it would only need a few tweaks. Instead it raised red flags. They should have been embarrassed to send it to us. Also, need to mention that Kristen inflates the price unjustifiably. Also wanted to note that it is not illegal to write a review of a company.

Everyone gave me an estimate and what they would do to fix the walls and ceilings that the plumbers ripped out to fix the situation. All estimates were a laundry list and a price. Not Lime painting. And yes they are not just painting! Matt took pictures and gave me a pdf report with pictures and a full description of what would be done in every area. The estimate was great. I needed walls, doors, baseboards all done and we were able to settle on a fair price and I scheduled for the following week since I was also getting my floors buffed and stained. During this time, Edgar recommended some paint colors and he was able to provide a COI as required by my building. It was easy to get a hold of him via text and he was always prompt in responding. Edgar arrived with all supplies (tarp, paint, caulk, rollers etc) as we had agreed upon. He spent the majority of the first day in patching and repairing and setting up for the actual paint job. The next day I stopped by to see the progress and I certainly appreciated his attention to detail. Edgar worked alone since his crew was on another job site but it didn't matter since I was in no rush and he ended up doing a great job by himself. In addition to painting, Solano does perform home remodeling too. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend Edgar for your home improvement needs.

These guys charge premium rates but deliver a "landlord special" level of work. The lines are not clean or straight, and there was little to no wall prep--no proper sanding or surface preparation before painting. I also paid extra for premium paint, but they used a cheaper product instead. Since then, I've had other painters redo their work and paint additional rooms in just a couple of days, with far better results.
