Very welcoming and friendly. I felt almost immediately comfortable and I rarely like group classes.

I'm still pretty baffled by my experience at this studio. I'd never been here before and I was so…read moreextremely excited to find a studio that offered Step aerobics. That excitement was extremely short lived. At one point during my visit there was a guy being trained on the Pilates reformer, the step class AND a separate strength training class in ONE TINY room with no separation. As you can see in the photo those in the step class are steps from the reformers. So distracting!!! The conversation and commentary from the other classes were louder than the music at most times and they weren't even loud...they were just 5 steps away and the music was being played on a small google home. If you don't have the space and equipment to offer your customers the experience they are paying for why offer the class?? If I hadn't paid money to take this class this experience would just have been comically bad but I did. So unacceptable and cheap!

Alyssa is by far the best Pilates instructor I've had. I've taken Pilates at East Bank Club, as…read morewell as Logan square Pilates, and the experience with Alyssa far exceeds any of those. She truly understands bio-mechanics and how the body and mind work together. After suffering with lower back pain for years, and 3 rounds of Physical therapy with no improvement I switched over to Pilates and the improvements have been amazing. Switching from what I call "normal" Pilates to Alyssa was a HUGE step up. My herniated disc has caused my glutes to not fire correctly in certain movements which exacerbates back pain. Working with Alyssa has really helped my brain to help fire the glutes properly. Look bottom line is, she is not your standard Pilates instructor. Alyssa goes way beyond that. She's like a master of understanding the body. If you're a serious athlete, suffer from some form of pain, or just simply want to improve you're bodies functions and feel stronger in a way no other workout can do, Evolve and Elevate is perfect for you.

First time here and Alison was great! I was in town for a wedding and hopped into an M3 Fusion…read moreclass with Alison on Friday morning before the wedding festivities. As a reformer modern Pilates instructor at Jetset, I was pleased to see some of the same moves used in this class that we use at Jetset. Alison clearly explained, each move and body positioning as as well as as offered modifications and amplifications. The music was great and I loved hearing Rihanna in class! The front desk was very helpful with answering any questions I had and ensuring I was ready for class. I would definitely take another class here the next time I'm in town!

The…read moreinstructor was super nice, helpful, and did a great job with cueing, which made it easy to follow along, even being new to the studio. The studio itself was nice and well laid out, with plenty of cubbies throughout to store your personal belongings. There were lots of machines in the class, but they were spaced out well, so you still had plenty of room around you and didn't feel cramped. I do this style of Pilates regularly at home, so I'm pretty familiar with the workouts. My only real criticism is the machines themselves. The quality didn't feel quite as nice as what I'm used to, but they still did the job, and I was able to get a good workout in. Overall, it was a great option while traveling, and I'd happily recommend it if you're looking for a Lagree-style workout in Chicago!
