Very cute studio right in the middle of Wicker Park. This is a newer location for this business. I saw an ad on social media and took them up on their offer for a free intro class. Classes are typically $36 for a drop-in.
They do have discounts for memberships and class-packs.
I am not new to reformer Pilates but I haven't practiced since the pandemic. I was eager to get back into it because my core strength is weak. My first class was easy to schedule and they provided updates and detailed instructions to make your first experience easy. There is meter parking on Milwaukee. For my class, I found a spot right out front. This location is also easy walk from the Blue Line.
The studio room is big and has 12 to 14 reformers. The use the Allegro 2 which is a good reformer. My only dislike is that there were no grip pegs on the machine, near the head rest. My reformer class was taught by Michaela. She did a good job overall. The class was a typical Level 1 experience. The class was to capacity. I think any reformer class over 10 people is hard to monitor form. We worked all the major groups and left my favorite (legs in straps) for last. I was happy that there was no 100s but we did do plenty of Ab work.
All in all, it was an enjoyable workout. I will return to take advantage of the intro special. Would love to use other parts of the tower to workout arms.
Tip: purchase grip socks as they are required. read more
