The following is my story of how Marc took care of my son when he was experiencing a chronic illness. Few experiences are worse for a parent than seeing your child sick, but seeing them disabled every year for months at a time with a chronic illness that didn't respond to any treatment takes it to another level. Over the years, we took our son to see over a dozen doctors and specialists including pediatricians, allergists, immunologists, pediatric gastric-intestinal specialists, ENTs (ear, nose, & throat specialists), psychiatrists, and counselors for a bunch of symptoms including sinus problems, grogginess, irritability, tired despite sleeping 16 hours a day, and constipation. This review is LONG overdue!! I keep meaning to write this because I have been seeing Marc for several years now and he has helped me tremendously. I was blown away the first time I visited by his ability to access and "test" me. I have test in quotes because natural docs and nutritionist often use muscle testing which I am quite familiar with. His level of skill with this technique is that of mastery. So I asked him how long he's been doing this and at the time it was 41 years! Holy shiznit- it shows! I should probably also tell you I was married to a natural doctor to explain my level of experience and expertise in the field but that's another topic! Wow - where to start...I have been seeing Marc on and off for about 25 years now. I started seeing him for chronic knee pain in my twenties after seeing a series of orthopedic doctors who told me I would suffer from knee pain for the rest of my life and the activities I would be able to participate in would be severely limited. At the time, I could not walk up a flight of stairs without stopping mid-way, and my knees were always aching. After about two sessions with Marc, I no longer had knee pain. To begin .. I am a Stott pilates instructor and own my studio. (About 15 yrs now) I am a student of Gyrotonic. I mention this as to my awareness of how the body works. Marc Weill saved my life. Actually it was me who did it with his help. Six years ago I was diagnosed with Chrone's disease, could barely breath after small amounts of exercise, had zero to no energy, was in paid all over my body on a regular basis - pretty much would have had a heart attack before the age of 40. Marc's integrated approach, focusing on what's actually important was the key for me. Other people I've been to focus on one issue at a time versus an integrated approach focusing on the core. This review is long overdue, but I've been waiting to see what the long-term results of my treatment would be. I'd seen Marc several times over the past few years for bodywork and nutritional counseling. His work has always been exceptional and his suggestions for supplement support have improved my energy levels and all around health. My last two visits prompted this review. By the time I made my way to Core Care Center my left shoulder had been completely frozen for more than a week. I couldn't left my arm more than a few inches in any direction and the slightest effort to do so caused excruciating pain. I couldn't get dressed without assistance, I needed help getting into and out of a blouse! I can be a bit of a stubborn stoic, but I finally made the call for help. Marc generously made space for me in his busy schedule. After testing my range of motion -- which was negligible -- he worked on me for an hour and decreased my pain levels by 60% and increased my range of motion by more than half. I was ready to leave, pronounce the visit a miracle and see a physical therapist to get back on track. Marc found this unacceptable, insisting that I book another appointment. Immediately after the second treatment I'd recovered 75-80% range of motion in the arm, but there was some pain because of the deep tissue work Marc had to do to effect my realignment. I won't even pretend to know what that involved, however I do know I have use of the arm again. I've almost recovered full range of motion (about 90%) and my life works for me again. Marc Weill is an incredible healer and care giver. I am so refreshed by his no nonsense, straight to the point approach to healing.
