I worked with my therapist Jessica Daniel for almost 3 years via The Connective. I am deeply appreciative of the work that I was able to do with Jessica over this time, and I believe it has helped me immeasurably to get to a positive place in my life today. Jessica's style was perfect for me. Her attentive listener, thoughtful and knowledgeable feedback, insightful suggestions and sharing of resources, and her gentle but focused encouragement, all contributed to my progress as I climbed out of a deep hole which had previously seemed inescapable. I have a revitalized passion for life and I owe much of it to the work I did with Jessica., who always kept my long term goals in mind and took every effort to provide a warm space to work in. I am so thankful for Jessica's approach, the space and support provided, and her holistic sense of what I needed in a given session. The knowledge and habits I have developed as a result of Jessica's care and support have made a huge difference in my life. Coming to the Connective was a wonderful development for me and I am forever appreciative of my time with Jessica. I feel ready to continue my journey and excited to continue my progress with the insights I have gleaned about myself, my relationships with others, and my outlook on life. As insurance did not cover our sessions, I paid totally out of pocket. That is the only reason why I am withdrawing from therapy; the sessions were worth the price, but my financial realities mean I need to take a break from The Connective. The fact that I stayed with the Connective for so long evidences that I found the experience truly helpful and rewarding. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization in general and Jessica in particular. Thank you! read more

I had a good consultation with Madison that inspired me to give up Noom and try intuitive eating. Within just a few days, I feel (and weigh) lighter and happier. Thank you for the meeting. read more

omg madison was the nicest person ever!!!!! she gave me the best tip to help me sleep better!!!!!

Funny story. I requested an initial consultation with a very specific goal of weight loss in mind. I first was greeted by a receptionist type of person who said they can definitely help and set me up with an initial consultation with one of their doctors. When I talked to the doctor, the first thing she said she thinks everyone should be happy with their weight and refused to work with people who wants to lose weight. This is kind of ridiculous. We all should have the freedom to think in our own ways, instead of being told what to think. This tells me either this clinic holds a crazy philosophy that everyone should think based on their standard, or they're just not professional at all and try to make up stuff to brainwash people to scam more money. read more

I found Gina, my therapist through Lyra provided by my workplace. Even though Gina was a couple more clicks away in the system, Wellspace reached out immediately and promptly. Lily is wonderful as a coordinator and makes everything super easy. Gina is thoughtful, fully present, empathetic, understanding and sympathetic - all of the traits you want in someone who is really there for you. Wellspace also makes it easy for you with tech that's not overwhelming - auto scheduled things, email reminders, surveys..gentle but valuable stuff. Wellspace also has a bunch of additional services to help you grow - groups, reiki, breathwork - all stuff to help you cope better. I'm very happy with them. read more

I worked with Madison for around 3 months, and it was a great experience. This was my first time seeing a nutritionist, and I really wanted to make sure that their approach was aligned with my value system. I have been struggling with yo-yo dieting and a negative relationship with food for my whole life. Since I started working with Madison and she introduced me to Intuitive Eating, I can honestly say that I feel freer and calmer around food than ever before. Madison is empathetic and knowledgeable, and she gives you practical takeaways and resources after each meeting. Thank you, Madison! read more

The Wellspace Moms Postpartum Support group was an amazing experience. Nina was an exceptional facilitator -- deeply empathetic and supportive, while offering helpful perspective and practices for me as a mom. She helped to quickly create a group that was willing to share and support one another. The discussions were deep, meaningful and helped me as a mom outside of group. I started seeing Alice at a time in my life when I was feeling incredibly lost, depressed, and unable to figure out my next steps in life. Over the course of four months, she helped me work through these feelings and realign with my inner motivations. I learned powerful lessons about myself at every session with Alice. With Alice's help, I was able to dive deeper into problems I was facing and articulate exactly what was wrong. I began to appreciate Alice as not *just* a good listener, but as a gifted translator. She was extremely helpful in reframing my often wandering thoughts into pieces of wisdom that I could fall back on. This has really helped me become more confident in my ability to solve problems. Now, I have a list of wisdom that I picked up along our journey together. I have already returned to this list to work through feelings of self-doubt. Today, I can't say that I have all of the answers, but I have something far more important: the ability to take a step back, figure out what I need, and think through my decisions clearly and with plenty of self-love. Thank you Alice for helping me grow into this next phase of my life! read more

I came to Alice at a particular point in my life where I felt lost and disheartened regarding what I was doing with my career, relationships, and overall purpose. For years, I had based my self-worth and identity based on external factors (school and companies I had worked for). Alice was an unbelievable coach who worked diligently with me to uncover who I really was. As metta as that sounds, it is exactly what I needed and she provided me with the tools and resources to unpack the unhealthy ways I was thinking about my life. More importantly, she helped me uncover the different mindsets that I now believe have helped me achieve the inner peace I have been searching for; one where my happiness and wellbeing comes from within as opposed to the external factors or institutions. Alice is both compassionate & extremely skilled which make working with her extremely easy and even fun! I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in truly experimenting with a life coach. Do yourself a favor and work with her! read more

I have seen Kristy Crandell virtually since December of last year because I went through a lot with my health before I saw her. The way I was being treated did not work for me before her, except with the doctors at the hospital I was in during 2019. I knew she was the right person for me. She made me feel like everything I am experiencing is to be expected. She was concerned about my health and still cares to this day about it. She got me eating more food than I was and introduced me to my naturopathic doctor who has changed my life for the better. Because of Kristy, I have been on a better track with my health. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nutritionist. read more

WellSpace is the BEST! From my first interaction with a client coordinator (extremely prompt and helpful), to setting up my consultation, to coaching sessions, it was a beautiful process. I was a client at WellSpace for 9 months between 2019 and 2020. May is warm and welcoming and challenged me to grow in areas I was struggling in. We worked through different exercises, topics, and goals. May was positive and encouraging through the entire process. It's bittersweet, but I guess it's a good thing when you no longer need coaching because your coach is SO amazing. You won't regret working with May to improve yourself and life in more ways than one! read more

Alice, and Wellspace, helped me find my purpose, assisted me in developing mental clarity so I could focus, and supported me when I stumbled. I would recommend Alice, and Wellspace, to anyone struggling to understand their purpose and how to get what they want in their lives. Alice is a strong and compassionate person who makes you feel comfortable the moment you meet her. Our journey together helped me to understand what motivates me and how to channel that into my life. I unexpectedly lost a very close family friend during our time together and she coached me through the grieving process. This wasn't in our original plan but having her there to help me process the grief was instrumental in my growth to move on. She gave me tools to cope and to continue to cope. I am a calmer and clearer person today than I was before I met Alice. Now when I navigate my daily life, and plan for the future (which I didn't do before), I use her teachings and hear her voice as I make decisions. She changed my life and I'm never going back to the old way. read more

I worked with May Barlett for several months between 2018 and 2019. She's someone I immediately felt very comfortable with and I really enjoyed working with her. May is extremely empathetic, understanding and will help you grow in the areas you want to. She's encouraging without being pushy and extremely passionate about changing people's lives for the better. She's also incredibly open and responsive to feedback as she genuinely cares about helping you in the best way possible. We've done some powerful exercises together that helped me get out of my comfort zone and helped me make impact at a new job. Some of them I regularly mention to my friends and even in job interviews. Do yourself a favor and spend some time working with May! read more

If you're paging through reviews, trying to figure out whether working with the team at Wellspace will help you with whatever it is that you feel unable to handle on your own, I can't answer that for you. What I can tell you is that you will be listened to with compassion and respect, that they will work with you to understand the root of the issue, and help you identify your strengths and learn how to use them to meet and overcome your current challenges. I've found May and Lynsie to be both absolutely trustworthy and knowledgeable, and I have no doubt that anyone coming to Wellspace will be treated with the same care and support. read more

May is an incredible coach; she guided me in a hands on approach to help tackle issues I was facing. She asked very, very difficult questions to answer that made me think throughout the week before the following coaching session. She is thoughtful, insightful, and a great listener. She also gave great weekly homework that helped me think through solutions to problems and further dig into my actions. I highly recommend her coaching! read more

May is such a game changer! I could not recommend working with her more. She really helped me unlock the root of some of my blocks and be able to move forward in a different way. While May lets you drive the direction of your session after the initial groundwork is laid and she clearly understands your goals and where you are coming from, her thoughtful questions and nurturing approach offers so much guidance and insight along the way. I have spent a lot of time going to different types of therapy and different therapists and finally committing to going to May has offered so many breakthroughs and given me the tools to move forward on my own for the first time in a long time. read more

I worked with Kristy for several months and she has been so supportive and helpful through my journey. She is very encouraging and compassionate and I would definitely recommend her to others dealing with restrictive health and nutrition plans in order to heal themselves! read more

I worked with Stacey Lisowski for 4 months in 2020 for career coaching. Stacey made me instantly feel comfortable, and it was easy to open up to her. Stacey is very empathetic, and a great listener. She helped me find the space and perspective I needed to identify what was really important to me in my career. Stacey's approach to coaching felt very holistic, and she helped me really think through my priorities. This was the first time I had ever tried coaching, and I didn't know what to expect. I am so pleased I sought out coaching with Wellspace and was connected with Stacey. The whole experience with Wellspace was well organized, professional, and caring, right from the initial phone consultation. I would recommend Wellspace to anyone seeking a mindful approach to career coaching. read more

Alice is amazing at what she does. When I first met with her I didn't totally understand what life coaching was but, knew I wasn't totally happy in my current career and was lost on how to figure out what would make me happy. Alice was incredible helpful and intuitive when it came to giving guidance on how I should explore/think about options, made it a safe environment to talk about the things I try to avoid, and no matter where the conversation lead she always was ready with suggestions and insights to help me get to the next step. Would highly suggest anyone feeling a little lost, or like they are living up to their potential to work with Alice. read more

May is an excellent life coach who is passionate about helping her clients discover their true calling and identify the obstacles that may be preventing them from achieving their goals. She is adept at utilizing mindfulness exercises that helped ground me and created a peaceful setting during our sessions. I always looked forward to our weekly meetings and the rejuvenating energy they brought me. She is extremely talented and a wonderful human being. I worked with May and she was wonderful. She is empathetic, gentle, cheerful, non-judgmental, and a really great listener--which I think is hard to find in therapists and coaches these days. She offers powerful homework and insightful advice. She was able to pinpoint one aspect of my life that was really off-balance, which was having a domino effect and throwing other aspects (work, romantic relationships, friendships) off too. Overall, May offered the perfect blend of compassion and action--she heard and validated my perspective, and also helped me broaden my view, see things from a different angle, and take action where things weren't working. Highly recommend her. read more

When I reached out to Wellspace, Tara connected me with two coaches so I could find the best fit. I started working with May, and it has made all the difference for me. I thought getting a coach sounded too luxurious, but it's the best investment I've ever made. May is patient and an extremely good listener. She helped me identify limiting beliefs and those inner critics tearing me down. I just wanted to figure out how to find a new career. But now my capacity for joy has increased, my relationship with my family is much more loving, and I've identified my new career path. May's warmth and kindness helped me through some dark places that I was scared to explore before. She's a true professional and a wonderful person! read more

I've been working with Alice Chen for the last 6 months and she is a revelation! I've been in traditional therapy before but she was my first introduction to life coaching. And I can tell she is one of a kind. Before I started this journey, I didn't fully understand what a life coach does. But I liked the idea of someone telling me what to do with my life. I was quite wrong about that part - she's brought meaning and guidance to my own journey. I found her during a tremendous and pivotal year in my life because I needed someone to help me navigate it. And by pivotal, I mean a year where I took my life and dumped it out on the floor because I thought it would be fun. Then I wanted to cry because of the mess. I could focus on the fact that she is always prepared for our meetings and consistently provides patience, candor and positive insight. She is the consummate professional, and is more like a really good friend who wants you to succeed on your own terms. It is evident that she finds authentic joy in the process. There is also something very intuitive about her approach. Whatever you're looking to tackle, Alice can help. And as our time comes to a close, she leaves me with the sense that I have the tools to continue the process successfully. read more

We worked with Kristy at Wellspace to help our daughter deal with some food-related issues and we couldn't be happier with the support we received. Kristy was always pleasant and positive in our interactions and it was obvious that she was extremely knowledgeable and able to provide expert guidance. She set up a system for us to help our daughter through an elimination diet that was very clear, orderly, and well supported. While we worked through this challenging exercise, Kristy always made it doable by providing recipes and resources. She even sent us things during the week like recipes that were aligned with our daughter's preferences. For example, if our daughter said she missed eating pretzels, Kristy would hunt down a great pretzel recipe and send it right away. She listened carefully to what we shared and made sure she understood our needs exactly by asking very astute and helpful questions. Kristy was very adept at looking holistically at what we were trying to do and could not only address the specific nutritional issues, but she was also able to understand and address the impact of stress and the larger context of our daughter's daily experiences to provide an integrated solution. Furthermore, she was also very skilled at eliciting information and analyzing emerging patterns to better adjust the plan on an ongoing basis. We couldn't have done it without Kristy and highly recommend her! read more
