I know that a lot of people lose weight on this program. I'm not one of those people…read more This was my experience: 1. Administrative. Less than stellar. Lost my paperwork. Took forever to be accepted, onboarded to the program. Miscommunications were frequent. Lab results were a mess and took forever to complete. Sometimes the office manager as abrupt and unprofessional. My first meal replacement was incorrectly sent. I received eight boxes of Vanila powder. 2. Support is essentially worthless. It's hard to reach these people. They have weekly 'support' groups and the first one I attended was about weight loss drugs. Less about support and more of an info system. 3. Communication. The program has a ton of rules, information and processes you need to follow. The doctor throws all this at you the first time you meet. There is so much information it's essentially overwhelming. 4. The program itself is powder drinks for weeks till you lose the weight. This in and of itself seems no healthier than a 1960's Slim Fast plan. This plan is essentially 800 calories a day of powdered drinks. Much like preparing for colonoscopy. Transitioning from eating double burgers and fries with 9pm desserts to berry flavored powder drinks is quite the change and needs to be very hands on support. I did not find that support through all the red tape. At one point early in the diet I was lightheaded with my blood pressure racing. I sent a note to the doctor, and she replied that I should have called the emergency line. What emergency line....... Clearly this was one of the 147,000 items referenced quickly on my first call with the doctor or embedded in the manual they provide you. Which was not very clearly put together. In the end I reached out to to the doctor assigned to me and stated that this program was not going to work for me. She said, "I will let the staff know". I told this story to my husband and he was shooked at the response. He said, "you shold tell the doctor that she said that". I said to him......."I was talking to the doctor......". And that was my experience. My recommendation: if you need anything more than minor support on this abrupt transition from poor eating habits to a powder drink diet, this is not the place for you.

I have been a customer with expectations "way beyond exceeded" since February of this year (2015)…read more I believe my personal results speak most effectively: I lost 88 lbs in 7 months and have stayed within 5 lbs of my goal (above and below) since then. My medical condition has improved radically across the board and I feel great with plenty of energy all the time. For example, I can now run a 10K in under an hour (as of a few days ago) whereas I could not run at all when I started. I could NOT have done this without the absolutely perfect and expert medical supervision and guidance of Anita Demas, MD (incredibly smart, perceptive, and responsive) and her highly professional support team, along with the superstar clinical psychologist and behavioral modification coaching from Bill Hartman, PhD (he literally has decades of real, in-depth clinical expertise in this specific field) - everything they do is done to the highest standards; this includes the quality of their private label meal replacement products, as well as their coordination / communications back and forth with my primary care physician. This approach is neither cheap nor easy (but then, neither is living with obesity...seriously- think about that), however it is by far the safest, fastest, and most effective weight management approach I am aware of - I recommend it without reservation for anyone truly committed to and motivated about losing a serious amount of weight.

This is my second time with Green Door Life. My first time was in 2019 as a 1:1 client and this…read moretime I joined their group cohort. While I had the information from 2019 and could've incorporated it back into my daily life, what I was really looking for was someone/thing to be an accountability container for me. I chose to go back to GDL because of the results I had the first time and their structure is something that fits into my life right now. GDL updated their content and structure a lot since 2019 and it has been such a positive experience. The content for the 12-week nutrition science has expanded a lot since 2019 and continues to improve. The structure is really what made the experience for me this time around though. There are different ways to engage with the content and community through the app, instagram, and Slack. I love having access to an online community of coaches and clients who can provide feedback, resources, and affirmation! I love the live and on demand courses for strength training. The weekly calls were also a great opportunity to reinforce the lessons, ask questions about our progress, troubleshoot any challenges, and just be in community. Although Shannon was the lead coach for the group cohort, we were also assigned another coach that provided reflections and feedback on our weekly progress form. I appreciated how detailed the feedback/reflection were, which indicated to me how much of an investment they have on your progress. Throughout the 12 weeks, I felt fully supported and didn't feel like I was being judged. Everything was an invitation that helped us get closer to our goal. If you're looking for a long-term lifestyle change, GDL is definitely worth the investment.

I was genuinely excited to start this program. After investing in countless coaches and courses, I…read morewas ready to finally put an end to all the second-guessing and commit to a plan tailored specifically for me. I enrolled in the self-paced program after doing my research and seeing overwhelmingly positive reviews. In hindsight, not meeting anyone on video beforehand and relying solely on text communication was a mistake on my part. After taking the initial quiz, I guessed my body type and was assigned a coach who shared that same type. I followed the program precisely for six weeks and saw no results after the first week. Only then did I learn I'd been placed in the wrong program for the wrong body type. I was reassigned to one of the founders, who reviewed my case and matched my correct type. Another 2-3 weeks went by with zero progress, even after overhauling my routines yet again. I even paid extra for their Tier 2 service, with no changes or signs of improvement. I did everything that was asked of me: 15,000 steps a day, consistent powerlifting, hydration, structure, and discipline, yet nothing changed. Instead, my lack of progress was attributed to mindset, quantum physics, and somatic blocks. I'm trained in trauma-informed care and have spent years doing deep somatic and therapeutic work. I fully understand the mind-body connection. But when a program cannot deliver results, shifting the responsibility back onto the client feels dismissive and unfair. Ultimately, it felt like the blame was placed on me when my coach no longer knew how to support my case which is exactly why I hired them in the first place. While I appreciate receiving a $750 refund for the Tier 2 upgrade, I am still left having spent $1,500 on a self-paced program that did not work for me. This is simply my experience. Be thoughtful, do your research, and I truly hope your results are better than mine.

She took the time to explain everything beforehand, so I knew exactly what to expect and felt completely at ease. During my visit, Cindy was focused, attentive, and professional. She checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable, created a relaxing atmosphere, and kept a great balance of being conversational while remaining completely in control of every step of the process. I always felt like I was in very capable hands. After the appointment, she gave clear aftercare instructions and made sure I understood any follow-up that might be needed. What really stood out to me is how sincere she is--it's obvious that she genuinely wants her clients to look and feel their best. She doesn't just perform a service; she truly cares about achieving the results you're hoping for while making the entire experience comfortable and positive. Additional shoutouts to "Kim" and Ingrid as well who were also very involved during my appointment. All were great in rounding out a top-notch experience in hospitality and customer care. And I love the results!

This establishment was my beauty and self-esteem secret...until the founder, Dr. Lisa, left, about…read morea year-ish ago. Let it be known that I was a difficult patient, with oddly specific requirements. My skin was ultra-sensitive, my pain tolerance was low, I was panic-attack-prone (and afraid of fainting or disassociating) and that things needed to be *just so* for my treatments. The Serenity nurses and staff were incredibly accommodating, and so genuinely kind: literally and figuratively holding my hand for some of my most distressing moments--things that stronger patients could easily tolerate, but I so loved how caring the staff was to such a weak and weird one. I enthusiastically recommend all my kind-soul nurse-friends who treated me and endorse them in all their future endeavors. The thing is: despite my traumatic response quirks, the results were absolutely worth it. Dr. Lisa was straightforward with expectations; she was honest, but so, *so*, so, talented. Her finesse with fancy technology was artistic. Her bedside manner was reassuring. The results were life-changing. --- It all started to go south when I tried to book another session with Dr. Lisa at her offsite specialty office, and was told she wasn't available, and that the fancy machine she used was out for repair. Some email back and forth happened, and I made do with some other interim procedures, which were fine, but I really wanted the original Dr. Lisa procedure that she prescribed. I compromised and booked a simple in-office procedure, but after I checked in and went to sit down in the main lobby, I felt oddly uneasy. There was a half-full cup with a lipstick stain sitting on the coffee table in front of me, and--weirdly--all these posters were advertising to me and causing me mental traffic jams in that once-serene waiting room. The treatment room had more of the same: physical posters with ads, pitching subscription services, and a rolling cart stuffed with random gear on its top, awkwardly jammed in a corner where it was not designed to be. The luxury-hotel-critiquing part of me was already getting anxious at the clutter level. The treatment was fine, the staff was fine, the results were fine, but--long term--I can't recommend this MedSpa any more. The specialized services that Dr. Lisa provided are pretty much only available in Los Angeles these days, so I'd rather make the trip down there and make a vacation out of it. Positive notes: It's a convenient location for simple procedures, and they keep great records.

Both times, I hesitated because of the cost -- I told myself I was already paying for insurance, so why pay out of pocket for something extra? That decision cost me more than money. I've been dealing with serious health issues since 2018, and I didn't see real progress in my treatment until I finally integrated Shanti into my care team. After a few years working with her, I'm in the best health I can remember in years -- and honestly, the turnaround still shocks me. Shanti has been the cornerstone connecting the dots across a complicated health picture: major weight and puffiness fluctuations, food reactions and allergies, MCAS/histamine issues, mold, migraines, headaches, and joint pain -- all while juggling multiple doctors and endless investigative work. She's been there on the days I could barely move or eat, in real pain and down, and she's helped me build a fuller care team rather than trying to be everything herself. She got me OFF the endless cycle of adding supplements and protocols, and taught me to simplify and actually listen to my body. She's patient, she remembers every detail of my history so I never feel like a number, and she adapts to what's realistic for me rather than forcing one rigid method or diet. We've also gone deeper than the physical -- into the inner work of trauma, stress, and old patterns -- and worked through how my health connects to my marriage, family, work, and travel. I'm so grateful for my work with Shanti. It has been life changing. I wouldn't be able to propel into my next steps in life without the rigor and resilience of our time together.

Her deep, science-based understanding of physiology, especially when it comes to female and athletic bodies, is truly unmatched. She meets you exactly where you are, tuning in to your personal needs while offering practical, meaningful guidance that leads to real change. What sets Shanti apart is her whole-body, natural approach. She's not someone who pushes a Western medicine fix for everything--she's incredibly attuned to the body's natural rhythms and honors the simplicity and wisdom of how we're built. She challenges me in the best ways, always pushing me toward actual growth while being emotionally supportive and truly caring along the way. And honestly--her approach works. I've been dealing with insulin resistance and hormonal shifts, and in just two months I've experienced a major, positive transformation in how I feel and how my body functions. I first worked with Shanti before my wedding and reached my goals, and came back to her when I decided to come off birth control. The results have been even more powerful the second time around. If you're ready to take real action and make sustainable, lifelong changes for your health, I can't recommend Shanti enough. She's the real deal
