In hindsight, not meeting anyone on video beforehand and relying solely on text communication was a mistake on my part. After taking the initial quiz, I guessed my body type and was assigned a coach who shared that same type. I followed the program precisely for six weeks and saw no results after the first week. Only then did I learn I'd been placed in the wrong program for the wrong body type. I was reassigned to one of the founders, who reviewed my case and matched my correct type. Another 2-3 weeks went by with zero progress, even after overhauling my routines yet again. I even paid extra for their Tier 2 service, with no changes or signs of improvement. I did everything that was asked of me: 15,000 steps a day, consistent powerlifting, hydration, structure, and discipline, yet nothing changed. Instead, my lack of progress was attributed to mindset, quantum physics, and somatic blocks. I'm trained in trauma-informed care and have spent years doing deep somatic and therapeutic work. I fully understand the mind-body connection. But when a program cannot deliver results, shifting the responsibility back onto the client feels dismissive and unfair. Ultimately, it felt like the blame was placed on me when my coach no longer knew how to support my case which is exactly why I hired them in the first place. While I appreciate receiving a $750 refund for the Tier 2 upgrade, I am still left having spent $1,500 on a self-paced program that did not work for me. This is simply my experience. They promise miracles and l was desperate (but not as desperate, or naive, as they thought) to shift 15lbs. Before they meet with you, you must fill out an extensive questionnaire about your medical history which is a good thing. But, that was the last professional aspect of the program l encountered! l was informed to arrive 15 minutes early to check in, which l did. However, when l arrived, the door was unlocked, but they were closed for lunch. Huh? I entered the waiting room and encountered a very young, 20-something petulant kid who snarled at me as l was early. I tried to ask her a question, but she curtly replied that it was lunch time and she couldn't talk to me! lt made me feel extremely uncomfortable! Unfortunately, the same petulant, non- medically trained kid was to be my advisor. It was a red flag! She quickly recommended Mounjaro. I was a bit open to it, but very reluctant. I wasn't about to go on this lifelong medication without checking with my PCP who strongly advised against it as l am neither obese nor diabetic. My next meeting was a telehealth session with a hormone specialist. More bad advice! I had my thyroid removed as a teenager due to benign tumors. I have been on Synthroid for decades. The therapist suggested l switch to a desiccated pig formula ( due to T3 inclusion). However, my very informed PCP was just stunned! Nope! Not a good idea! The last straw came when l met with a so-called nutritionist. This was a joke! She suggested what was essentially a ketogenic diet. Not only was l expected to keep my carb intake below 30g per day, but to increase my fats and sodium intake. WTF! Did you even bother to read my medical history which was clearly laid out in the intake questionnaire? Obviously not! I have high blood pressure, so no, l am not willing to take in more sodium. I also have familial hyperlipidemia, so no, I was also not willing to increase my fat intake! My research (and l am a researcher) clearly demonstrated that any carb intake under 150g is considered a keto diet. So these so-called medical professionals at Jumpstart MD ( and l take the MD part with a grain of salt) were setting me up for medical disaster with possible medical consequences! Just avoid this scam of a business ( not a medical practice, but a money-earning venture) if you value your health. My pharmacist is convinced that they are getting financial kickbacks from the semaglutide drug companies. Finally, if you do decide to cancel your membership, you will still receive multiple texts from them despite unsubscribing multiple times! It feels like harassment! So, make your own judgement, but proceed with caution. And, l urge you to discuss any of Jumpstart's recommendations with your physician before jumping on Jumpstart's money making bandwagon!

I canceled because my physician does not want me to take anything from a compounding pharmacy, as they are not trustworthy and I switched to a major pharmaceutical house brand because of the quality of their research for my maintenance. I must say that even during the phone call I made to cancel, the customer service representative tried even then to sell me different products and services. Is there no respite?

Took forever to be accepted, onboarded to the program. Miscommunications were frequent. Lab results were a mess and took forever to complete. Sometimes the office manager as abrupt and unprofessional. My first meal replacement was incorrectly sent. I received eight boxes of Vanila powder. 2. Support is essentially worthless. It's hard to reach these people. They have weekly 'support' groups and the first one I attended was about weight loss drugs. Less about support and more of an info system. 3. Communication. The program has a ton of rules, information and processes you need to follow. The doctor throws all this at you the first time you meet. There is so much information it's essentially overwhelming. 4. The program itself is powder drinks for weeks till you lose the weight. This in and of itself seems no healthier than a 1960's Slim Fast plan. This plan is essentially 800 calories a day of powdered drinks. Much like preparing for colonoscopy. Transitioning from eating double burgers and fries with 9pm desserts to berry flavored powder drinks is quite the change and needs to be very hands on support. I did not find that support through all the red tape. At one point early in the diet I was lightheaded with my blood pressure racing. I sent a note to the doctor, and she replied that I should have called the emergency line. What emergency line....... Clearly this was one of the 147,000 items referenced quickly on my first call with the doctor or embedded in the manual they provide you. Which was not very clearly put together. In the end I reached out to to the doctor assigned to me and stated that this program was not going to work for me. She said, "I will let the staff know". I told this story to my husband and he was shooked at the response. He said, "you shold tell the doctor that she said that". I said to him......."I was talking to the doctor......". And that was my experience. My recommendation: if you need anything more than minor support on this abrupt transition from poor eating habits to a powder drink diet, this is not the place for you.
