I'm incredibly grateful I was able to work with Chad. I would recommend him to anyone seeking more peace, ease, and clarity on their path. A friend recommended Chad when I was looking for a coach to support envisioning the next chapter of my career. I'm so glad I took the leap, as this work has improved all areas of my life-- not just at work. He connects aspects of mindfulness, spirituality, and psychology in a way that deeply resonated with me. The work was challenging, refreshingly to the point, and very much worth the effort. I felt supported through it all. Chad is an incredibly intuitive and generous coach, and I wish everyone was able to experience this kind of coaching and support. Go for it! read more

Chad is a remarkable person and incredible guide. I am a BigLaw partner who was finding that my professional success and personal life wasn't resulting in the day to day joy and satisfaction that I thought it would give me. Working with Chad is more than just counseling, because he has a plan and structure to move you through reflection, meditation, and imagining the future that is intended to give you a roadmap and not just identify current feelings and challenges. I have done professional coaching before, and what Chad has the capacity to do is merge professional coaching with something much broader and more holistic than just looking at your professional behaviors and goals. I highly recommend him to anyone feeling like they are at an inflection point and need someone to help guide them to the next stage. read more

Working with Chad has been grounding, clarifying, and incredibly supportive. He creates a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and real--no pressure, just presence. He doesn't tell you what to do; he asks the kinds of questions that help you remember who you are. I always left our sessions feeling more connected to myself and my values. He's compassionate, honest, and has a calm clarity that made even the hardest conversations feel manageable. I can't recommend him enough--he's just a genuinely solid, thoughtful human and a gifted coach. read more

Working with Chad was an experience of a lifetime. He is wise, good at hearing what is being said and not said, and is empathetic while keeping one accountable. I reached out to Chad through a recommendation from a coworker and from the first conversation, I knew he was perfect for what I was looking for. After dealing with significant stress, negativity and challenges at both work and home, I needed someone to not only help "pick me up" but also re-build my physiological foundation. Over the course of 8 modules, detailed journaling, reading and meditation, I have emerged a far better person. Chad patiently guided me through the work and most importantly, opened my eyes to a different and more positive perspective of the world. I feel that I now have the tools to navigate through life's ups and downs and a better understanding of my life purpose. I would highly recommend Chad for anyone. read more

Chad changed my life. I was initially skeptical of his program. I had met countless therapists in the months leading up to discovering Mind/Body Foundations and was convinced that this would be 'just another meeting' that'd leave me hoping to find someone else who could actually help me. I wanted a therapist/coach would could not just help me understand my situation but also arm me with the tools to work through it, especially professional challenges as an executive. Chad did exactly that. I think I learned more about myself in the past 3 months than in the past 10 years. And I'm more fulfilled than ever. Working with Chad will go down as one of the best things I've ever done. If you're like me and don't know if therapy is for you, Chad is your guy. Try Mind/Body Foundations. You won't regret it. read more

I worked with Chad through the Mind Body Foundations course over the past year and my wife worked with Melissa through the same course as well. To say we have both been profoundly changed would be an understatement. Chad helped me work through a very challenging year and I came out of it in a very different place, acknowledging and working through anxiety in a totally different way, learning to ride my emotions rather than let them drive the bus, and more. I wish everybody could have the privilege of going through this training...and it is training or hard work. I can say this is one of the most valuable investments I have ever made in understanding myself. It has also given my partner and I a shared understanding to work through difficult conversations and understand each other in a completely different way. read more

He will change your life and the impact with ripple through out your life. The Mind/Body Foundations training has truly changed my life. Looking back to where it all started, I realized that adopting a beginner's mindset and approaching life with a child's curiosity played a huge role in my growth. This program gave me a remarkable gift - understanding and compassion, not just for others but for myself, too. Learning to truly listen helped me connect with people on a deeper level. I've also learned to spot when something's bothering me and not react impulsively. Instead, I've become better at settling within myself and giving myself space for some self-reflection - a skill I didn't have before. By not jumping to quick reactions, I've built stronger, more meaningful relationships in my personal life and at work. This newfound composure has boosted my confidence in making decisions, leading to better choices overall. I've also healed some of my core wounds, which have helped me connect with people, excel in my job, and make new friends after a big move across the country. The Mind/Body Foundations training helped me know my true self and uncover my heartfelt intentions. These discoveries guide me as I consider making significant changes in my life. Knowing my true self gives me the confidence to take these steps, and my heartfelt intentions act as a compass, pointing me in the right direction. I recommend the Mind/Body Foundations training to anyone seeking personal growth, self-awareness, and a more fulfilling life. This program has been instrumental in helping me connect with myself and those around me on a deeper level. Thank you, Chad, for this incredible journey of self-discovery and growth! read more

I worked with Melissa through the Mind Body Foundations course. I cannot begin to describe the amount of support, friendship, and perspective Melissa offered me during our work together (and continues to offer to this day). For context, I signed up for the course for a range of personal and professional reasons related to anxiety. Melissa's approach is no-nonsense and caring - she tells you things the way she sees them and is never short of compassion when she does. On every topic we tackled together, I felt seen and heard in a way that made me feel encouraged to share more and dig deeper. I had always wanted to develop a meditation practice in my life but had trouble keeping the habit. Melissa held me accountable throughout our work together, and I'm confident I have the tools to keep the practice up for a long time - hopefully the rest of my life! Thank you for everything, Melissa! Our work has inspired me and I'm excited to keep working together. read more

I worked with Chad and went through Mind & Body Foundations. In short, Chad's teachings changed my life. He is that cool calm rational voice that tells you everything is going to be okay-and you believe him-and he ends up being right. After years of promising myself that I'm going to get into meditation-giving up every time I started and never getting far enough to realize the benefits; I can now say that from going through Mind & Body Foundations, I meditate almost every day, and thoroughly understand its benefits and tools. I'm a stronger person, I know myself better, I better know what boundaries to draw to enable happiness in my life, and I have a stronger grasp on my life purpose. This is not just therapy or a course-its a journey. Chad held my hand and helped me work through and come to terms with some of my deepest, most entangled problems from my past. What Chad teaches is life work, and I will use these tools for the rest of my life. I can't wait to continue my journey with Chad (and Melissa) through future meditation retreats and check-ins. read more

I've been working with Melissa for close to two years now, and I'm in it for the long haul. When I reached out to Herst Wellness, I was in what I'd call a "transitional period" in my life - although my circumstances had not changed, I'd found myself ready for and very much in need of personal and spiritual growth. My relationships were unfulfilling, but worse yet I realized that very often I wasn't comfortable or happy just being me. I had begun to dabble with meditation and mindfulness but did not have a consistent practice. The concept of self-love was still new and foreign to me. And everything I was hearing about the value and benefits of investing time and energy to work on oneself was intriguing, but I didn't know where to begin. The program Melissa and I started together took me on a deep dive into the past events and relationships in my life which had shaped the [sometimes destructive] thought patterns and behaviors which were all I knew. Recognizing these patterns and breaking them down was (and still is) a process both intensely difficult yet absolutely fascinating and mandatory for real growth. Melissa has introduced me to the tools for necessary and permanent change. The best part is, absolutely everyone is capable of using them successfully. It's just a matter of dedicating yourself to the process. To have the support and guidance of someone as warm, comforting, and motivating as Melissa is something I found essential. To sit down, write this review, and reflect on how far I've come since Melissa came into my life, I can't help but feel emotional. The world of meditation has very much become my world, and my sitting practice no longer feels like a "to do" - it's just what I do. I've discovered my values and goals and have shamelessly made changes in order to honor and fulfill them on a daily basis. I've learned to better communicate with friends, family members, and romantic partners - and these relationships have only gotten deeper. I'm not done and I never will be. Thanks to Melissa, I know I have all the love and support I could ever need in this beautiful and unpredictable journey we call life. read more

Chad is legit. I want all of my friends and family to work with him. If you are looking to enrich your life, your understanding of yourself, and to learn the tools to gain greater clarity around what is important to you and how to achieve it - work with this man. I can echo all of the positive reviews here and I'll add my own to the consensus. I had never worked with a coach before and didn't know what to expect. Yet, I was looking for a career change and how to have a meaningful transition towards a role that is more fulfilling. I felt a bit stuck professionally and my personal/ family life could also use a re-examination. A friend recommended Chad and after the initial meeting - I was beyond impressed and surprised at his ability to move right to the heart of the matter. There was no pressure once so ever and I knew I had to work with him. I signed-on for the defined program, which was appealing because it had a start, middle and ending - and each session had a direction and a purpose. Make no mistake about it, this is challenging, enlightening and rewarding work. If you are able to commit to this work, Chad will be right there with you. He is genuine, present, kind, honest and holds space for you while allowing you to explore your life through a more intentional light. He knows when to gently push and when to allow you to find your own way. I went in for professional clarity and got that plus so much more. To boot, his methods are tools that I continue to use in my life. Through working with Chad, I have more clarity on my professional direction and how to action it. I also have more clarity on what motivates me and a deeper understanding of simply who I am and how to navigate this world. This is the most meaningful work I have done to know myself better and to improve my life. I count myself lucky to have worked with Chad. read more

Working with Chad has had such a positive impact on my life I cannot do it enough justice in writing, it is something you have to experience for yourself, but I will try my best! I came to Chad having never had any experience with therapy/ coaching before. I had reached a place where I felt despite on paper seeming to have a perfect life...career that was financially successful, good relationships with family and friends, etc.....I still felt a lack of fulfillment. I was constantly second guessing if I was living the right life for me, and if I wasn't what was the right path for me, where do I even begin? Over the course of working with Chad I gained so much more than I had expected. I was able to see, explore, and confront things that I had never really knew existed. I started to feel a change. For me that was a new level of patience, awareness, gratitude and motivation. I learned how to overcome difficult emotions, forgive myself, and appreciate the impermanence of everything. That has really carried with me and feel a greater acceptance and appreciation for emotions and moments both good and bad. By the end of the practice I was prepared and able to focus on exploring my values, gifts, and life purpose. I don't want to give away the practice and learnings that led to this, because you have to live it, but I can tell you that by the end I walked away with new clarity, motivation, and a practical plan to start making changes that would take me closer to my values and that bring me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I have to say, I was a bit of a skeptic before trying something like this out, but now I wish everyone could have access to this kind of coaching and the journey that comes with it, I have no doubt the world would be a much better place. I most appreciate how authentic Chad is in that he truly lives his own teachings. Chad undoubtedly lives a life aligned with his values and life purpose, and how grateful am I that he found and lived that purpose as it has provided me, and countless others, with a wonderful gift. read more

I appreciate the work that Chad does, he is unique in his skillset and methodology. I was looking for a therapist/coach and was lucky to have him recommended to me. I completed the Mind/Body awareness program and was blown away by how detailed and intuitive it was. Chad is a skilled teacher, each module builds on the last, you feel supported and can lean into the work, which can at times feel unsettling. He synthesizes ancient and modern knowledge in a way that feels very human. The program feels as if it was built just for you. If you do the work and meet chad where he is coming from, you will gain insight into fundamental truths about yourself. My only wish is to have found it sooner and had more years to apply these understandings to my life. If you are looking to find a fresh perspective and understanding look no further. Highly recommend. read more

Chad has changed my life. Facing multiple life-altering challenges at the same time - personal and professional - I needed someone with a Swiss army knife skill set who could be an executive coach, a life guide, a therapeutic thought-partner, and more -- and with top-flight expertise, intuition, wisdom, and interpersonal touch in all areas. Garden-variety, one-dimensional, passive counseling would not suffice; luckily, Chad was next-level. Chad has lived what he preaches, informed by his own deep life journey and lofty wellness knowledge. He also grounds this in his refreshing ability to relate to bottom lines and everyday realities of professionals. His well-defined, comprehensive program applies to any circumstance. No short cuts, no sugar-coating or rationalizing, and because of this, it is ultimately empowering and uplifting. He was an extraordinary, generous listener who was personally invested in my story. He was an honest and compassionate partner who told me clearly and calmly what I needed to hear, not through lecture, but through direct observation in helping me see and hear myself better, including how I've clearly changed after his Mind/Body Foundations program, and because of those changes I have resolved several challenges on a better path ahead, which I sorely needed. Chad is a pro and a wonderful human. This was one of the best investments I've ever made. You won't regret it. read more

I came to Chad because I was dissatisfied in my career. I was advancing, but I felt increasingly empty and less interested in the work. It was clear something wasn't working, but I didn't know how to make change or what had brought me to this moment. I had lost touch with my creative voice and was devoid of inspiration. I felt lost and increasingly hopeless. I was drawn to Chad's structured approach to the Mind/Body Foundations, which felt different than other things I had done. I have just finished the Mind/Body Foundations program and it truly has been one of the best decisions I've made. I am not new to therapy or coaching, but working with Chad has been transformative in a way I've never experienced before. Chad is radically present. He is at once tender, deeply supportive, and tough. He has a sense for where to probe and push. Through our conversations, things came up that I hadn't thought about in years. He has a way of helping you reveal yourself to yourself. I have learned so much about myself in this process. I have left a very unhappy job situation and feel like I am finally pointing in the right direction. It is not a silver bullet of course, but I feel truly awake to the things I need to work on, the direction I want to go, and feel that I finally have the tools to get me there. Mind/Body Foundations requires a good deal of work and I would recommend taking this on when you are ready to put in some effort. There are readings and journals between sessions. There is meditation every day. It is absolutely necessary, and Chad will invest in this process and support you along the way. A note on the readings: Chad has cultivated a treasure trove of teachings in each module. He shares his journey and draws on the work of so many - from scientists to buddhists scholars to poets. He has put so much care and rigor into cultivating these readings. It is one of the many gifts of this program. Chad is a healer. He has a gift that clearly has changed so many lives, including mine. I am deeply grateful to have him as a coach and to have done this work together. read more

I started working with Chad because I felt completely stuck in my current career. I wanted to transition to a new industry but I didn't know what was important to me or how to make the change. Chad made all the difference. Chad is thoughtful, patient and generous with his time. He is direct but not at the expense of letting you figure things out for yourself. He allowed me to reach my own conclusion but with thoughtful direction along the way. He helped me find a sense of clarity and confidence that I didn't think was possible. Whether you want help making a change or want to develop strategies to be more positive and confident in life, I couldn't recommend Chad more. read more

Melissa has been one of the most important forces in my life transformation over the past 4 years. I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier and proud of the progress we have made together. I found Herst Wellness just after my divorce and over the years Melissa has taught me courage, to love myself, and how to communicate my feeling clearly and effectively. All tools I needed to grow and move forward with my life. I have a new found confidence in myself that I know will aid me in my journeys to come. To this day, years later, she still opens me up in new ways as we take on new life challenges and goals that I have. Needless to say I'm in this magical relationship for the long haul. Melissa has this innate ability to meet you where you are and can hear fully in a way that few humans can. She has given me tools that help me think outside the box and listen to my heart when my mind has gone wrong. She is so full of positive energy, life, and is committed to the work she does. I couldn't help but be caught up in her passion for my success. I can't recommend her enough and can't thank her enough. read more

When I found my way to Chad, I had spent the last 1.5 years building a freelance career that supported the lifestyle I wanted, but had left me feeling less fulfilled in my work than I wanted. I had a sense of the type of work I really wanted to be doing, but felt stuck in how to explore the many directions that could go. A few startup founder and/or freelance friends I trust had passed on names of coaches they had worked with and loved. In my first trial session with Chad, I was blown away by his ability to cut right to the heart of the issue and help me sit with my own emotions in ways I hadn't been able to on my own. Even though he was more expensive than the other coaches I'd spoken to, and I had previously wanted to hire a female coach, 15-minutes after we finished our trial session, I knew I needed to work with Chad and signed on. I have tremendous respect for Chad and am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him. I just completed the 8 module Mind/Body foundations. I liked that his program had a clear beginning, middle and end. I was looking for help to get me through the block I'd hit, but I didn't want to sign on with a coach indefinitely. I am very happy with all that we accomplished over the last 4 months, I'm in a good place to further explore on my own, and if I ever need help again, I know I can reach out to Chad. In our sessions, Chad was always incredibly present and was very good at not only helping me to hear what I had said, but he was also good at subtly helping me to hear what was not said. His empathetic and intuitive nature always left me feeling like he could read between the lines. I always felt respected, safe, and seen which allowed for Chad to gently push and challenge me in getting through whatever I was facing. In addition to helping me understand all my own shit that had been holding me back from getting where I wanted to be, he helped me practice tools that I now can use to continue learning and growing on my own. While I have had inconsistent mindfulness practices of my own in the past, Chad helped me to reawaken and dedicate myself to my mindfulness practices. He also helped me to understand the science behind mindfulness. If you are willing to put in the work (journaling, readings, daily mediation), Chad can help you take your life to the next level of heart based living. read more

Chad's program changed my life. At first I was skeptical but I thought to myself "what do I have to lose?" When I realized the answer to that question was "nothing at all" I let my guard down and let myself go with the flow of the work that we did together. Since completing my program I have felt more secure, more stable, more grounded, more in line with my goals and values as I go about living my everyday life. You don't need a background in yoga or meditation to do this sort of work - Chad will guide you along the way even if at first you are scared and intimidated. Go do it! read more

Chad, thank you again for the past 6 months! Of all the investments I've made in my education over the years, your course has been the most valuable. I came to Chad at a point in my life when I was just unhappy with myself and with the choices that I was making, and I could see that I was going into a vicious cycle. Chad's mind/body foundational course was exactly what I needed. It honestly felt as if every module was specifically created for me at each stage of my journey. What I liked most about Chad was how he took his work seriously and no matter how many questions or doubts I had, he addressed them all. Chad allowed me to be open and vulnerable and not feel judged. He also gave me the tools I needed for the next stage of my journey. I also really enjoyed working with him and it felt as if I were going to an old friend's house by the end of our sessions. I'd highly recommend him for someone in a similar position who needs this type of work done. read more

After going through a tough time in my relationship and feeling burnt out with work and life in general, I started to consider getting professional help to get back on my feet. I stumbled upon Herst Wellness as I was looking at Yelp results for "Life Coaching" so I decided to give them a call and that ended up being the best decision I've made for myself. From the first consultation I had with Chad, I knew that this was exactly what I needed in order to begin the self-healing process. I have tried going to other therapists but talking about my problems didn't really help my cause. I needed a positive change in my current way of thinking and that's exactly what I learned from Chad's teachings. In order for a person to know who they truly are inside, they need to be broken down at their most vulnerable state. Chad was able to tap into my most vulnerable and traumatic emotions and relate it to the choices I make in my everyday life. He is a master when it comes to understanding one's emotions and knows exactly how to turn something so painful and damaging into something positive and strengthening. Most importantly, Chad made sure that even at my most vulnerable state, I felt safe and comfortable. He was there with me every step of the way and he always gave me his full and undivided attention. To get the most out of the Herst Wellness experience, you have to be committed to put in the work through practicing daily meditation, journal writing, and learning the invaluable lessons they teach in their modules. If you invest the time and effort and trust in the process wholeheartedly, your mind and body will be reconfigured to bring out your true potential. Chad Herst has changed my life for the better. He has taught me the true essence of self-compassion and being mindful of my surroundings. I have learned how to respond to life's challenges with a clearer mind and it has done me wonders. I HIGHLY recommend his program if you want to live out your life as the best version of yourself. Invest in yourself! THANK YOU, CHAD! read more

My journey with Chad was extremely beneficial and filled with a lot of personal growth and enrichment. I was able to gain greater clarity regarding what matters most as well as feeling capable of taking action steps and not feeling so stuck and full of guilt. The mindset perspective and skills I have gained during our work together is something I cherish deeply and plan to continue to take to heart and apply daily going forward in my life. Not only was this journey filled with a huge personal growth, it was also filled with many teachings that as a mother I'm able to pass forward to my girls. It would be so beneficial if we all did this type of deep work on ourselves at least once in our lifetime. I can't wait for my daughters to be a little older so they can also go through this beautiful deep work. Thank you Chad! I'm forever grateful. read more

I found Chad through a friend who highly recommended him. I started working with him soon after leaving my job to take time off, intending to gain perspective on my career, relationship, and the choice of where to live. Even with the luxury of time, I kept falling into similar thought patterns that I was used to, which made me feel perpetually stuck between the same reoccurring dilemmas. By working with Chad, I started to understand my own desires and needs, which turn out to be fundamental to all humans, but led to conflicting personal choices. I started to see beyond the black and white surface of my problems. His strength, I find, is in noticing even the most delicate change in facial expression, voice, or posture that points to a subtle emotion, which in turn signals something more profound. He helped me notice these experiences - which I had been brushing past - and explore where they come from. Now I have an updated way of looking at my relationships and choices, with an attitude of observation and discovery. I went through a program called Mind/Body foundations. It has a clear beginning and an end, with time in between sessions to do the readings, journaling, and meditation. During the sessions Chad was more then fully present, and I appreciated what felt like a deep immersion course in self-discovery. Participating in the program took conscientious work and time commitment, and I realized that I would need to continue working hard in order to continue developing awareness. I have enough fodder to work on my own from here on, but would love to work with Chad again for helpful guidance and insight. Getting to work with him is a gift. read more

I found Herst Wellness during a time in my life in which I was feeling stuck in an extreme rut. I was extremely unhappy at work and, in general, felt pretty numb to a lot of emotion. I found Chad through Yelp, where other users had explained experiences which felt similar to mine. Many people credited Chad with the remarkable ability to get to the route of the problem really quickly. I was very skeptical of this, but lo and behold in our first session he was able to identify something that I innately knew, but had never admitted to myself as being an issue. Ultimately, this course has been life changing for me. Chad has an extraordinary talent in helping you get to the route of the problem, feeling safe and comfortable to explore feelings associated with that problem, and supporting your efforts in addressing those emotions so that they don't continue to pop up and affect you in life the way that they may have been for years, unknowingly. I cannot praise this program enough for the positive changes it has made in my life. I feel completely equipped to take on a multitude of life challenges without fear of crumbling emotionally. I will say that the work involved is not easy - it does require you to be open to difficult emotions, to journal and reflect on what may have been painful life experiences, and really put in an effort to change. I will also say, though, that the effort is more than worth it. I am extremely grateful to Chad and this program, and for anyone who may need some guidance in getting through a tough time in life, I highly recommend reaching out to see how this course can change your life. read more

I worked with Melissa one-on-one for a little over a year and to be concise: Melissa helped me change my life and I didn't even start working with her with that intention. She is incredibly skilled, compassionate, intuitive, kind and yet didn't let me wiggle out of things (she's got a great memory!). She supported me through a ton of life-changing transitions and while everything around me was changing, she was one of the few things that remained consistent in my life. I always felt safe, seen, and held with Melissa and am forever grateful to her. I also did mindfulness coaching work with Chad and Melissa. It's clear Chad knows what he's doing but it's more than just skills. He's got a wonderful gentle energy that created a safe space immediately. His intuition knew when to push me and slowed down when I had been pushed enough. He guided me through meditation, supported me as I touched down on some sensitive areas of my life that needed attention (that I had been avoiding), and championed me in moments when I was feeling especially vulnerable. The work I have done with the Herst's has been transformational and I couldn't recommend them more. read more

I started Mind/Body Foundations during a particularly stubborn bout of depression that left me emotionally exhausted, feeling trapped, and without direction. Needless to say, not a situation in which I held out much hope for a positive outcome. Chad showed me how, for the first time in my life, to truly understand my emotions; and it is hard to describe the level of empowerment that provides to someone who never gained these skills as a child. The work isn't easy, and I had to face up to habits and attitudes that I knew beforehand to be harmful to myself and those around me. But it paid off and, months after my last consultation, I am still benefiting daily from insights gained and lessons learnt. I am grateful to the friend who recommended Chad to me, and excited to add my voice of heartfelt recommendation to theirs. read more

I worked with Chad as an executive coach. Regardless of the topic I brought into the room, he helped me get to the root of the matter quickly. He has a wide range of tools from co-active coaching models to the wisdom from his background as a meditator and yogic practitioner that he applied skillfully to the situations at hand. He has a gentle presence and is very perceptive. He is quite skilled at connecting to the wisdom of the body and using somatic modalities / mindfulness practices. Throughout, he will also tell you things as they are and offers no BS. I highly recommend working with Chad. read more

I was referred to Chad by my friend whom had found working with Chad as transformative. At that point, I felt like I was in a rut in life, and generally had a hard time discovering the life direction that would give me a sense of fulfillment. Chad has a unique personal discovery program that has helped me identify what was holding me back and what I needed to 'build' the life that I wanted, both personally and professionally. Through the program, I had developed skills and toolkits where I became more aware of myself and had more courage in making difficult decisions and confronting challenging situations.  Chad is also extremely pleasant to work with. Not only is it easy to notice Chad's passion in guiding his clients to clarity, he truly cares about the success and well being of his clients. Since taking the course, I went from feeling confused, helpless and hopeless to feeling empowered in taking full ownership of my well being and my goals. read more

I was going through a period of my life where I wasn't comfortable sitting with my own thoughts, was always the biggest critic on myself with little confidence even though on the outside, very positive things were happening. I needed to slow down but what Melissa and I worked to create together was a layer of awareness that allowed me to start building that confidence back up on the inside, while also showing me my own ways to slow down. There were some big life questions that I didnt like or didnt know the answers too and it was nerve wracking. Melissa was my catalyst but made me realize I was much in need for personal and spiritual growth. read more

I started working with Melissa in the spring of 2018, completed 8 mind/body foundation sessions and am continuing to see Melissa for regular life coach sessions. I can not sing Melissa's praises enough. It has been a complete joy to work with her and I feel so grateful to have found her! Melissa is warm, caring, insightful, and transparent. She made me feel comfortable and safe from our very first session. Through working with her I have cemented a regular meditation practice, discovered what I truly value and focused my energy on being proactive about getting more of what I want out of life. There has been a fundamental shift toward a deeper level of insight into my feelings, triggers and critical thought patterns that have held me back in the past. I enthusiastically recommend Melissa as a life coach. She is one in a million! read more

A year ago I hopped on to Yelp looking to find somebody I might be able to talk to about the stresses and anxieties of my life. I came across Chad and began to read reviews and decided to give him along with some professional counselors a call. Chad offered a free consultation and had awesome reviews, being that i was a yelp employee at the time, i highly valued these. So I decided it was worth taking a risk to try something new. I came to Chad during a time of my life that I felt very stuck, and was searching for some sort of meaning or inspiration in my life. I wasn't depressed but I would say I felt like I wasn't satisfied. It was affecting my outlook and I needed a different approach besides just working out or waiting for it to pass. At first I was skeptical of Chad and the practice of a life coach. In some ways it felt hokey to me, but I was finding that when I worked him I gained tools rather than answers. The tools I could take with me and allowed me to make real change in my life on my own. My experience has always been me searching for answers, but more and more I began to realize I had the answers but lacked the tools to uncover them. I told Chad I would agree to see him for six months, but truthfully I never felt I would spend more than maybe two with him. Just this past week was just about a year later and I went into see Chad as a much stronger and happier me. I told Chad the other day that it would be my last session. Not because I didn't want to see him anymore, and not because he was no longer giving me guidance. I told him I wanted to discontinue our meetings because I felt like I was ready to face the challenges of maturing and growing during these years on my own. The tools I had learned over the last 12 months have made me a stronger person and man. Chad is not only an incredible life coach, for some that may be hard to understand yet, but he is also an incredible man. He is a great friend and mentor, and I will always value the year of my life that I got to work with him as my life coach. Thanks Chad! read more

Writing this review is difficult because I don't know how to articulate strongly enough the magnificent and lasting positive impact Chad has had on my life. There is not a day that goes by that I don't mentally reference something we discussed, or use one of the countless skills he taught me. The mindfulness leadership program has made me a better leader, friend, daughter, spouse; Chad has given me the space and strength to be vulnerable and connect with people on a deeper and more meaningful level. And when you take a step back from life and assess what is really important...its that! People, connections and the quality of our relationships. Upon meeting him, I immediately felt at ease and able to speak freely without judgment. I came away from every session with a reading assignment, homework and meditation to do. I mention this specifically to call out the fact that you get out of it what you put into it. Roll up your sleeves, do the work and you will be the better for it. Chad is REAL and kind...but will not tell you what you want to hear. His sessions are challenging, but you will walk away energized with a sense of accomplishment and looking forward to learning more. He is a savant of his craft, and exists purely to open your eyes and educate you on how to conquer barriers you didn't even know existed. I am so lucky that I found him and am able to call him my teacher. read more

Chad will change your life. I can't speak highly enough of his methodology, intuition and understanding of what makes humans tick. He just gets it. He created a safe space that allowed me to dig deep into my psyche and face some less-appealing truths. The work we did together was incredibly healing and set my life course and values straight. I am a better, more thoughtful person because of Chad and highly, highly recommend him. read more
