Bought a used fridge from them and it had a one month warranty so I figured as long as it lasted a month it would be fine. Well the fridge broke down within the month and the repair was covered thankfully but after the month was over the same thing broke. Of course, warranty is now over so they were nice enough to offer me another fridge for $225 but let's be honest I'm not going to buy another fridge from them when the first fridge is already messed up after a month. And I'm not going to pay them to fix something that they already fixed but broke again. I paid almost $400 for the fridge which is only $250 less than buying brand new. So I would honestly suggest you go on facebook marketplace and just pick up a used fridge from there if you're desperate for $100-$200 or just buy brand new instead of buying here. I recently purchased a refrigerator from Wholesale Applicate in Charleston and it leaked water in an internal compartment. Wholesale Appliance recommended Corbett's Appliance Repair as the refrigerator was under warranty. The Corbett's technician was completely inadequate to make any repair. Absolutely horrible. Came out to assess a broken sensor on a GE dryer. Said we needed a part, came back with NO part and jammed the broken sensor back in (like we did prior to their return!). The service man was late, and when he left my dishwasher was in WORSE condition than when he arrived. I had to keep my breaker turned off just so he wouldn't burn up the motor. :( I said he would have to go home and look up the code....ummm how is that helpful?!! I go on the premise, 3 strikes and you're out. I called on Monday to get a repair technician for my dishwasher. The first issue was the woman that answered the phone, she was quite snarky as if I was bothering her (stoke 1). She said a repairman would be out between 2 and 6. I called the office at 5 to ensure someone was still coming - their website said they were open until 5:30. There was no answer (Strike 2). By 6:15 no one showed and I had received no call (Strike 3). I called this morning and the gentleman I spoke to seemed concerned and said he would call me back as to what happened. A technician called me back (the one that was supposed to come on Monday) and said he just couldn't get to me yesterday. He said he would come today - I said no thanks I already had someone else scheduled for Wednesday. He promptly hung up on me without another word. Therefore, I would NOT recommend them! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called to get my washer machine repaired. The lady on the phone said it would be $85 for a tech to come out, but they could come out that day. The technician came out-he didn't know what was wrong with it. He called another guy. A few minutes later, he came back and said he would have to get a part and we would receive a call the next day to let us know how much it would cost. He was at my house 20 minutes tops. I paid the $85. Well, I never got a call the next day... I finally called them 2 days later. They insisted that they had called me and left a voice mail. Never mentioned how much more it would cost to actually fix my washer machine. The receptionist and her boss were both rude over the phone. They refused to give me my $85 back. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Refrigerator stopped working.. I called Corbett's they had a tech visit the same day and he returned the next day with the needed part and made the repair. It was a little over 300$. I called 2 other repair services and 2 techs told me I should just buy a new fridge without even coming to look at it! I'm not one to complain as I have worked in the customer service industry for 7 years now, but ... This is the absolute WORST company I have ever had to work with. I am a renter so my landlord should be handling most issues but we have had to wait on a dryer part for a MONTH now so I decided to get involved. The people on the phone constantly blame the customers for the company's incompetence. They send drivers out with no way of reaching these drivers (say they don't have a working phone?) and provide you with little to no information about when your part will arrive or what time they'll be coming. They expect you to answer the phone very late in the hour range they give you to be aware of them coming, and if you don't pick up the phone even within 5 minutes, they will simply push your repair off for another day. The washing machine Corbett's sold us was not working. They sent a repairman over who was so drunk he could barely walk. He reeked of alcohol and smelled as if he had urinated on himself. He could not keep his rear end in his pants and had the audacity to put his bare bottom on my dryer when he sat on it. He knocked everything over on the shelves above the washer he was supposed to repair and was so drunk he could barely comprehend that he'd knocked everything over. I had to tell him to leave because his was so intoxicated and erratic I did not feel safe having him in the house with my kids getting home from school. He then got in his truck and drove away-- dead drunk. When I called Corbett's to tell them they should not be sending out repairmen in this shape and are responsible for having a drunk person behind the wheel conducting their business, they denied that he was driving the truck, although I very clearly saw him get in the truck and drive away. Front loader was having issues, Max can out very nice but incompetent, after two trips , the second which he needed help to troubleshoot over the phone. I was still giving the wrong diagnostic. After ordering my own part because they could not find one for 9 days. And of course it was the wrong part. They was wrong again. I paid for them to know there job and at least give me the correct diagnosis for my issue. The Owner refused to give me my money back for there incompetency and my waste of time. I would give 0 stars if possible. I took off work to get my moving done which included buying a washer/dryer. I purchased them from Corbetts and moved them that day myself. When I installed the dryer, it didn't work. The old guy, who is obviously oblivious to customer service as well as dryer repair, sent a guy out to look at it. He said the repair was too expensive to make and he would exchange the dryer. I told him that was fine but he would need to pick up the bad dryer and deliver the good one. He told me there would be a $50 deliver fee (by the way, I live 1.8 miles from the store according to google maps). I explained to him that I couldn't come by and pick up a new one during their normal hours because I had to work and I had already had to take a day off to move the original dryer. I believe they are Frigidaire's only authorized repair service in Mt. Pleasant, SC. which is the primary reason I will not buy Frigidaire products again. Details are too exhausting to recount, but suffice to say that from the start, especially the start, which was initially dealing with a very rude and unfriendly receptionist, to the "finish" 3 months later, it was extremely frustrating. I thought my wife was exaggerating her phone encounter with the receptionist until I called myself a couple of weeks later after having heard nothing in spite of several promises of an update. I was placed on the defensive right off the bat for absolutely no reason at all. It was as if I was interrupting her day with the audacity to inquire about the status of our washing machine after 2 weeks and 3 un-kept promises to give us a call. The repair fellow was very friendly but unfortunately was the one who had difficulty keeping the promises to call us with a status or showing up when he said he would. But, as mentioned, he was very friendly so its easy to forgive those things for a while. Bottom line, they misdiagnosed the problem the first time and never did figure it out or find the problem. For some reason we paid them anyway, and since it still worked, sort of, they just re-installed it and we are hoping for the best. Now the Frigidaire dryer is not blowing hot air and rather than call Corbett's, we will just put them on the street and buy new, different brand, appliances. read more

Wendy at the office is super nice. Ron came out within an hour of me calling. He let Wendy know what part we needed. She called that afternoon to let me know the part would be in the next morning as well as the cost. Ron was able to get back the next day and a little over 24 hours from my first call our refrigerator was up and running. This was all on Easter weekend when we had folks visiting for the holiday weekend. I would highly recommend them for repairs. I don't see how they're still in business. I called on Nov. 22 to ask if they had a stacked washer/dryer. I was told yes but it had to be checked and to call back the next day. I called every day they were open only to be told to call the next day. On 12/2, I saw what I wanted outside their store and went in to see if that was mine. Again, I was told that machine had to be checked out and to call the next day. Finally, today, 12/5, I was told it was ready and to come in. I took off work and got there about an hour later. The man I had been talking to all that time told me they sold my washing machine. I asked if he was kidding and he said no, then laughed and asked if he had scared me. I said "So you are kidding"and again he said no. Then, he said he had another and would get it ready. He said he'd call me in about an hour. Of course, he never called. I wasted all that time.
