Tony was in town for the morning staying in Nisku, so we were looking for a breakfast close by. We had not been to a Cora's for a while, so it was an easy decision. It took them a while to get us seated even though it was early enough the place was almost empty. But once we sat down, everything was great. Tony had his usual huge breakfast with a bit of everything. It all looked good. I came at me out of left field and had the chocolate pancakes with bananas and nutella. I went with the smaller order with only 2 pancakes.I also got pressured into a side of bacon. All very good. They put enough bananas on top that you could have a bit of banana in every bite. Cora's is a chain and where I'm from it's called Cora's. In Quebec they call it Chez Cora (as in Cora's in French). I'm not quite sure why in Leduc it's called Chez Cora as well but it's still the same food. Cora's is a nice place to get a good breakfast and it's not all bacon and eggs although that's what I usually prefer. They have crepes and fruit and such. Once in a while it's just nice to have a sit down proper breakfast with a bottomless coffee and a cold orange juice. This is that kind of place and while I'm usually more likely to get the Gargantuan which is all eggs and meat and even cretons it's nice to get a choice of having some fruit once in a while and not just greasy, fried gravy and biscuit type breakfasts. read more

I love their 2 eggs breakfast! I get everything I want (scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, toast & a couple slices of fruit) for about $10 & the portion is excellent. I've used SkiptheDishes to order take out a couple of times & it's always been very efficient. This location is always on the ball. Coming in on a weekend for breakfast is another story, usually quite bust but the wait staff do a decent job of keeping up with demand. It's Cora's. If your a fan of this Canadian breakfast/lunch restaurant chain you'll like this location. If you're not then, well you won't like it. Never been to Cora's? Well they serve breakfast think pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict, omelettes, fruit parfaits, etc. They also have some lunch items sandwiches, soups, salads, that sort of thing. I've been to Cora's before, but this was my first visit to the Leduc location. Normally I opt for breakfast but this time I got lunch, the chicken and asparagus skillet. The dish was cooked chicken, asparagus, potatoes, and caramelized onions covered in a delicious cream sauce. It was really rich, but good. The meal came with a side salad, and by side I mean the salad took up half of a large plate, it was huge. It also had a piece of buttered bread, and came with a soup to start. The daily soup was cream of mushroom which was really good, and I'm happy to report tasted home made, or at least not like they had gone into the back and opened up a can of Campbell's. Our server was nice, friendly, and checked back just the right of times to offer to refill our coffees. The restaurant was fairly busy but not too bad. I think going earlier, or on the weekends it would have been harder to get a table. Leduc has a couple breakfast restaurants, and I'm happy Cora's has been added to that list. No you won't find innovative and ground breaking haute cuisine, but you'll find a variety of good (tasty) breakfast and lunch items. Price worked out to under $30 for a lunch for two, definitely not unreasonable. I'll be back. read more

I have been to this location 4-5 times every time it's slow service, the servers just don't seem interested in being attentive. The tables and chairs are also really packed in no real space in between tables you have to push your self in so tight to the table cause there is less then two feet of space in between the tables. They seem more concerned about wedging more seats into a small space then they are concerned about service standards. The food is overpriced as well. I won't be going back. read more

I first found Cora while travelling through Kamloops BC. And was astounded at the inclusion of so much fruit. Since then this Leduc location has exceeded my expectations beyond most others I have tried. I am a connoisseur of fresh made hollandaise sauce and few restaurants go to the trouble. Most use a poor substitute mix. Everything is done to my specification. I am going to breakfast there now. read more

I came here recently after a flight and while it was really welcoming to have a delicious meal upon returning to the area, the service was slow. Generally I like the variety of fruit and fruit juices available at these locations so that was really welcome to me. read more

I've had the fortune of visiting here three times. Every time I've hit the magic window......no wait times or line ups Fruit was sub par today but still good. Nutritious and delicious. Chez Cora is a breathe of fresh air on the breakfast scene. No more smelly piles of greasy hash browns and the food coma that follows. Very clever menu items that are prepared and served with careful attention to detail. Proper portions and fresh fruit served with a smile. The coffee is pretty good as well! You can never go wrong with a meal at Cora's! The fruit is always fresh and the meals always warm. The smoothies make a great addition to your meal as well. I love that they always overload your plate with fruit, and I have never left hungry. The only reason why I knocked off a star is because it's always busy (not necessarily a bad thing), but when you're hungry sometimes a 45 minute wait can feel like 2 hours. Once seated, the wait staff is around your table immediately and it doesn't take long to order. This Cora's location is the same as all the rest, service is good, food is way overpriced. Fresh fruit is great, but it is rarely fresh at this chain, quite often soggy, slimey or dry. And your paying a premium for it. The smoothies are also very pricey for what you get. The tiny juices, barely a mouthful are also super expensive. Bacon, eggs etc. are nothing special, the one menu item I do suggest is the Tuna Sandwich Melt, it is very good but again over priced for a tuna sandwich with cheese. If you want pretentious, over priced breakfast food visit here, if not go to Leduc Diner, The Pipeliner Cafe or Nisku Truck Stop for breakfast. read more

Went yesterday to have breakfast for lunch....I wanted bacon and eggs and I like my eggs well done...not rubbery, and not to mention the bacon was that ready crisp microwavable bacon you find on a shelf it was disappointing and very greasy :( read more

In here nearly every single Sunday morning and it's ALWAYS excellent. The food and staff are at the top of their games and there's never an excessive wait for service or the food once you get a table. Tip for Sundays: Get there before 9am and there's rarely a line. Once 10:30 hits it's a guaranteed line up but SO worth it and the line does move fast. I very rarely get in there during the week so I can't comment. read more
