After moving past a petco set up I'm VERY happy I moved up and I'm hopeful for the best. It's on me now. Hopefully my guyz stay healthy and strong as I did not want to have a sacrificial fish. My tank has healthy bacteria and I've done everything I could besides kill a fish to get there. Let's run it !!

They definitely made it right--unbeknownst to them…read more I had bought dry goods and ended up changing my mind about them. They informed me of their exchange/store credit policy: 5 days. This unfortunately isn't a very generous window. To my dismay I was on day 6 so they said they couldn't. I explained that I live about 30min away and am off work around 630/7 so it's VERY difficult to make it down within the 5d period. After explaining this they said they could make an exception. The one downside is their driftwood pricing. They do have sims decent selection; however there's no set pricing guidelines. Other LFS stores use color-coded zip ties to denote price; here they don't. Online it says they sell based on weight; however the times I've bought pieces they've never weighed it: it seems like they just come up with a number and that's what you pay up. I guess another downside is they have a smaller selection (of goods in general) than other local LFS stores and they're a bit pricier.

Definitely worth buying your food here and consulting with him before you do it. They have samples in the back that you can see if your dog will eat it if they are picky! My dog is very sensitive to poultry and very picky when it comes to his food. I usually make his food and then leave him kibble in his bowl. So whenever I go to the store I usually always go to this location to pick up his food. I haven't found too many Places that I trust to give him food from and if I have an issue then the manager will usually suggest something that I can use instead. He has been spot on nine out of 10 times!

What I do have is a 2 year old granddaughter who has a fascination for pretty fish in fancy aquariums. This is not a strip mall pet store. We took her just to look. Didn't buy anything. We were simply amazed at the volume of related merchandise and vast displays of beautiful tropical fish and anemones, live aquatic plants, to name a few. You will find some very exotic specimens in many sizes and colors, with prices to match. We felt welcome and free to roam, looking at all their displays. This place is definitely a great resource for collectors.

I had went in when they first opened shop and it had only saltwater on the left, now they have expanded the right side of the store to freshwater and I am pretty excited about that. As someone who only works with freshwater, it's really exciting to have a local store instead of supporting big chains like petco and petsmart. I'm really looking forward to the day I get to stop by and choose my betta for my new set up! I also wanted to include that they have a few nano tank setups on display with some cute shrimp and some guppies! They have just about the same inventory as a chain store that you would buy from, if anything, more than that! The bettas were listed as $20 but I'm not sure if that applies to all of them on display. I was a bit sad when I saw them because their tails weren't in the best condition however, this might just be the way they were shipped. Whatever it is, it can be fixed with a bit of love and care!

We plan to buy more Ranchu !…read more We bought a calico Ranchu, and to our surprise, he arrived healthy and full of energy after spending nearly 48 hours in UPS transit during the 95-100°F Texas heat. We were a little worried about the long journey and extreme temperatures, but he adapted immediately and has been active, beautiful, and incredibly cute from the moment he arrived. To be honest, we were also hesitant at first because of some of the negative Google and Yelp reviews. As first-time Ranchu owners, we spent a lot of time researching breeders, but there aren't many reputable Ranchu breeders in the U.S. for this exotic goldfish. In the end, we decided to take a chance and see how this little guy would turn out despite the mixed reviews. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The fish exceeded our expectations in every way. This experience really proved the quality of this breeder. Their Ranchu are healthy, well-bred, and able to handle even a challenging shipment in the Texas summer. We are extremely satisfied and definitely plan to buy more Ranchu from them in the future. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful little fish into our home!

The 2 stars are solely because they had what I was looking for, otherwise it would be 1 star…read more I went looking for a fish with certain traits, which they had a several variations of. When I found one that I liked I asked the guy helping me out the price; he gave me a number. When I looked it up online using their code it was off: he gave me a number $15 more than their website. Had I not checked I would've overpaid. Not to mention (I found this out after I'd left) they had a 10% discount until 7/7-my purchase was made before that date; however they made no mention of this. The conditions in which the fish are kept is less than ideal. There's numerous dead fish; some of the betta's are in small jugs with another dead betta. They weren't the only fish with dead companions but it was harder to photograph the ones in bigger tanks without being seen. Definitely wouldn't recommend going there if you're looking for something that was raised in good conditions.
