    I've had two bad experiences with Eagle Ridge GM's service department…read more July 23, 2024 - I was told an oil change would be $99, but when I arrived, they said they only offer a more expensive "bronze package." I later found out an employee was fired for doing this to other customers. June 26, 2025 - I brought my vehicle in to fix a problem. Instead of repairing it, they charged me $178 for what they are now calling a "diagnosis" -- which was never explained to me at the time. I left with the same problem I came in for. They also falsely claimed I "went elsewhere" for repairs, which is untrue. They promised me a refund in writing. I gave them plenty of time, but they have ignored all of my follow-up emails. I've since filed complaints with GM Canada, the Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Protection BC. I do not trust this dealership to work on my car again. If you value honesty and clear communication, go elsewhere.

I appreciate their honesty, as they never attempt to pressure you into repairs and promptly inform you if an immediate fix is necessary or if you can defer it. When I made the purchase, I felt no pressure to buy. In fact, I felt compelled to initiate the sale, which I enjoyed because I did not perceive anyone attempting to persuade me to purchase the vehicle. I have consistently utilized their services, and when they make an error, I promptly point it out. They rectify the issue immediately and apologize. even if it's a few weeks after the appointment. The only caution I would advise others about this dealership is the wait time. If you intend to service your vehicle here, make a plan to return home or arrange for transportation. They even offer rides to and from the dealership. While I tend to wait between 3 to 5 hours for my vehicle, I am more than willing to wait due to the exceptional customer service I receive and the high quality of work performed on my vehicle. I will never go to any other dealership.

    I visited this Nissan Dealership on Friday October 13, 2023 and booked a service appointment,…read moredeliberately early for the following Monday morning to have the map light on my Nissan Altima removed, then re- installed, so that a simple rattle inside could be addressed. At drop off time I was asked if I wanted a car wash, but as it was raining I said no thanks. Following two hours in the waiting, area I asked when my car would be ready, and told the service rep that I had a dental appointment in Vancouver some 90 minutes later. I was then informed that the car was being road tested. Not necessary, as the issue could be readily identified by simply tapping on the outer part of the map light housing which I had already demonstrated to two of their service agents. Then, while another hour passed I missed my dental appointment. Not news here, but he dental office charges you whether you show up or not. I was able to telephone my dentist and they kindly moved me up another hour and fifteen minutes. An hour later, the service manager appeared and said that they had no time to look at my car. Nothing had been done to my vehicle. It had just been parked in their service area for some three hours. Is this the type of service you might expect from a top line Nissan Dealership? Not this one a least. I won't be returning.

    I drove down from Tracy to buy a 2012 Ford F150 from Shoreline and it turned out to be a bad…read moredecision. I'm going to skip the test drive and interaction with both Brian and his father Fred who run the business and get straight to it. When I took possession of the truck there was a check engine light on. They assured me that it was just a sensor that was changed and that the truck needed to be cycled and after a series of completed cycles it would clear. They also sold me the vehicle without a smog certificate, which for a used car dealership is ILLEGAL in the state of California. Long story short they told me I could take the car to get it smog tested after it was done cycling and they would pay for it. So knowing it was an illegal deal that they would have to either pay to repair or reverse the deal and give me a full refund I took the truck. After a few days the check engine light cleared and didn't return so I took it to a local trusted shop in Tracy to get the smog test done and the light comes back on when I get to the shop. The smog guy was shocked at the illegal sale and broke down the whole cycling thing they were talking about. Long story short it couldn't get smogged so I called Fred and told him i would be bringing it in for them to repair and I needed a car to get around in until the truck was ready. Here was accommodating and gave me a car off their lot and took the truck back. For the next month we went back and forth with them sending it to their mechanic and then to a Ford dealer and not being able to get the light to clear. After a month of it I told Fred I wanted to undo the deal to which he agreed. He did try to tell me there would be a 300 charge for financing but I sent him a formal email stating the reason for undoing the deal was due to the illegal sale and that charge was taken back. Bottom line I don't think they're malicious and looking to do harm but they need to tighten up on legal business practices. They were accommodating but the sale never should've taken place. If you buy from them know your rights, and know the law.

I've enjoyed the CX-9's refinement and versatility for adventure. We added roof racks and a trailer hitch which have allowed us to create memories in a short time. Neighbors have come over to compliment the CX-9, and both family and friends have loved it. Our previous vehicle that the CX-9 replaced was a Mazda and my other vehicle is also a Mazda. We think we have found the brand for us moving forward. The sales experience at Open Road Mazda and our ownership experience has been incredibly positive so far. Context: I contacted my nearest 10 Mazda dealerships all with the same questions to evaluate the level of service, when I was researching the CX-9. While I will not name specific dealerships, or sales representatives there was wide range of customer service. Some dealerships were not willing to communicate over email, which was imperative to me. I sent several emails to the different dealerships with multiple questions, of which many were not answered or answered with very limited information and sometimes contradictory information. Some of my questions were perhaps uncomfortable such as what separates your dealership from other dealerships/ why should I buy from your dealership. Over the years I have visited several dealerships over the years and have purchased vehicles from 7 of them. I can say with certainty that Darius was the most helpful sales representative. He was flexible in communication with text/phone/email, while being prompt and detailed in his responses. He was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all questions. He did not resort to high pressure sales tactics and offered the best customer service of any of the dealerships. Since Open Road had the CX-9 in the trim and colour I wanted in stock, this was a no brainer to purchase here. When an issue arose with the CX-9 the GM Shaun was able to resolve it. Thanks!
