And within 2 minutes she had the screw in and tightened as well as the screw on the other side, which was also about to fall out. I removed my credit card to pay and she said, "No no no" even after I had previously said we were visiting from CA (not able to be a returning client.) we were and remain so grateful. In those 2 minutes I also noticed that they had a great selection of glasses - I found quite a few pairs that I preferred to mine - but alas they are 800 miles away from our home. If you live anywhere near abandon, COME HERE! Great selection, great people!

I needed a new presription because I couldn't read the menu at McDonald's and other fine fast food…read moredining establishments plus could not read the subtitles on foreign movies on my television. I got a new prescription and new glasses at Bandon Vision Center. So far so good but now I have to use the old pair of glasses when I used the computer as I am doing now. My distance vision and reading works with the new glasses but not the middle. I was told I could get trifocals but wish I had known this when I got the new glasses. Why wasn't I told that before not after the fact. In all fairness they offered to give me a new pair of glasses with trifocal vision but am not interested. I'll go back up to Coos Bay next time.

Everyone was very nice including the Dr. The exam was very thorough, a little more thorough then I think Ive had at other offices over the years, I was very grateful for the extra explanations on my issues. The handling of paperwork and insurance was easy. They also have a very wide range selection of frames. Con: The only Con I have is the time when the glasses are in and I picked them up. For the first time ever (at any offices), they didn't sit me down to try on the glasses for final fit, have me check the lenses for any obvious issues, & to have any questions answered. Instead, the glasses were handed to me over the front counter where I could ask questions if needed. It really adds a lot if this would be done as it is at most other offices. Our family will definitely keep going back.
