The other dentists in the area kept telling me I'd probably have to go to an oral surgeon in Eugene. Ughhhh...2 hours away. I never went to an oral sugen to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Did something change? Anyway, I was able to get an appointment in 2 days. Once we arrived to our appointment we noticed how clean and relaxed the place was. Front desk personnel was super friendly and helpful. BTW...My daughter HATES the dentists, but they reassured her that there was nothing to worry about. Only x-rays were needed to see if it was a wisdom tooth problem this time around. Once they took my daughter back, it only seemed like 15 minutes and my daughter was back smiling. The nurse told me it wasn't wisdom teeth causing the problem. Possible jaw issues? She also said there were no cavities and her teeth looked great...thanks to the water pic. Possibly next year, my daughter may have to get her bottom wisdom teeth pulled...but for now...she's good to go.

They also do not seem to understand how not to leave an overhang and how to finish a margin. The office looks nice, but the skill level of the dentistry is poor to middling, depending on who you get. They cycle baby docs through there, who get their experience there,and then move on. My guess is that they don't vett anyone. I find the forced friendly thing to be over the top and tiresome. The problem is thatvthey literally dont know what they should know. Also I've had some interesting bookkeeping issues there, like a credit for over $500 that I wasn't told about,until they wouldn't take my new insurance, and wanted me to pay on their insurance plan. I find their bookkeeping and dental skills suspiciously inadequate

I called the LAB on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the man in that Dept. said the LAB would be open for blood tests on Friday after T-Giving from 7-noon. I showed up in freezing temperatures, only to be told that the LAB WAS CLOSED on Friday, but would be open 7-noon on Saturday. I called on Saturday before going there, and was told NO, the LAB was closed on Saturday to all outpatients. Since my blood tests require fasting, I went ahead and made breakfast. Later, I got a call from Tina, the person I had spoken with earlier, who told me she found out the LAB was indeed open to outpatients until noon! But that news came too late for me, since I had already eaten. FOR GOD'S SAKE! THIS HOSPITAL IS TOO SMALL TO HAVE SUCH HORRIBLE MISCOMMUNICATION PROBLEMS! I'm just one person, but 3 miscommunications over 3 consecutive business days = COMPLETE CLOWN SHOW!!! This problem needs to get fixed and stat! Thanks for ruining my travel plans for the long weekend!

We have not seen any other er physician in there but him so far. He was extremely dismissive (spent approx. 1-2 minutes (wish I were exhaggerating) during the checkup and offered no testing. Condescending tone and rude. If you go there, sure hope you get someone else-just a fair warning.

The Dr. The lady at the front desk check in was so nice, so complaints there. The nurse that took me to a room and got me set up to see the dr was the kindest, most helpful woman. Glowing, good vibes from her. This Dr came into the room and right off the bat had the absolute worst bedside manner. At first i was shocked so i didn't really even say much. It was hard to try and get the words out of why i was even there. He was so rude i was literally speechless. I looked over at the nurse and tried to just repeat everything that i had told her so easily 10 minutes prior. Finally got most of it out and he responds with "well what would you like me to do about it" It just kept getting worse all in a matter of minutes. So i decided to take off the finger monitor/blood pressure cuff and say i'm done here, i'm just going to go drive further away (to coos bay) to go to their E.R. Then he has the audacity to look at me shocked! And the nurse immediately came over and helped me up and out to get the discharge papers and once he wasn't anywhere near us she said "i am so sorry" All because of that one dr my family and i will never go back to CVH. We will gladly drive the extra distance to another hospital. I don't even want to risk running into this man again. You know what they say, one bad seed can rot the whole plant well thats how i feel about this situation. Sad really because he was the only problem with the whole visit but he was just that bad that all of the other people/the place couldn't even outweigh the bad of that one person. ***MD BRETT GREENE***

Dr, Scott has been my dentist for many years, I have recommended him to anybody looking for a good…read moredentist and so far everyone is in agreement, he is terrific. I am Dentist phobic and I do not go on a regular basis. Instead of admonishing me as other Dentists have he gently goes about his job and takes care of my issue. The staff is equally gentle and the work he does has been wonderful. Very professional yet kind. His prices are very reasonable too.
