My dog really enjoys running around and playing here. Once we are done on the beach there are plenty of trails for her to walk on and wildlife to see. She especially loves the birds and the turkeys. It's easy to spend 4 hours here daily just exploring and enjoying the water. It's fairly clean and safe since the beach is a decent ways away from the road. We haven't camped here or used the restrooms. We just enjoy the water and the trails. It's a perfect place for a picnic on a warm day and an excellent area to stretch your legs on a car trip.

In the morning we awoke to find a beautiful campsite with easy access to the beach and the Coquille River Lighthouse. We met friendly RVers right next to us and I would gladly stay here again. Generally, Bandon doesn't get as much attention as some of the other spots up the coast, but I really liked it here. The beach is quiet and peaceful and, although it doesn't have the crazy rock formations that some others do, it is definitely worth a visit. The driftwood here was nuts!

It can be used with a cane. This area is well contained and good for dogs to get some exercise. Since you can drive on the beach you need to watch your dog to keep them safe from on coming cars. It's clean and not too crowded. There aren't hiking trails nearby but there are bike riding ones. If you go at low tide there is plenty of space to runaround and a stream that has fresh water for pups to drink from.

However, you can't just easily walk to the beach from your site because one way from the camping sites is 3/4 mile through mosquito walkways and another you could bike, walk or drive that is a 1-1/4 mile away from sites. If you have small children driving is best or you'll hear them complaining the whole way there. Beaches are beautiful and so is surrounding area. No play equipment for kids so best is them just riding around park. Which kids will make it fun. We don't tow a car with our RV so we are land locked unless we want to unhook everything. In summary won't be back due to lack of quick and easy access to beach via walking.

If my profile says I am from someplace other than Grants Pass Oregon, it is wrong. I just don't know how to fix it. So that is an issue for Yelp.

I responded to person telling them we already put them in front and I had my phone in vacation mode. OFF! The TV in the living room was a joke. 19 inches?!? No clear instructions for check out so I called the number that I received a text from...Tracy stated I needed to start a load of towels?? Wash all dishes? Not impressed with Vacasa at all!

An honest advertisement would say "sleeps 6 plus a couple of kids". The only way to get ten would be for two of the bedrooms to sleep three to a bed. Maybe kinda awkward. I personally ended up on a very cheap roll-a-way. Notes of admonition are posted around warning you that you will have to pay $175 if you plug up the drain or toilet. I seriously doubt that that is what the drain cleaner charges. So why so harsh? I've been in far worse places, but a few changes in the advertising and policies would go a long way to making this a great place.

It's close to Old Town Bandon, boat charters, the beach and other scenic spots. It doesn't have the amenities such as a pool, spa or golf, but when you go into the park, it has large grassy areas, lots of flowers and cute teapots decorating the wooden fence. The park is so peaceful that it is a great place to just relax. I spoke to Linda when booking who was very nice and helpful in getting the right space. They have wonderfully long pull-thru spaces giving you room to put a truck and a trailer together. The sites are not particularly wide but plenty wide for slides on each side and room to get by. There is a picnic table at the site and full hookups. There are also big beautiful trees lining the park which added to the beauty but made satellite TV impossible plus there was no cell service at site 4. This ended up making the visit more relaxing and enjoyable cutting off the stress of the world.
