They once had an issue with their large format digital printer and the color was just slightly off... perfectly acceptable, but slightly off. The printer was fixed and Charlie reprinted all the posters correctly, but still have me the others that were totally useable! Manu companies would have destroyed them, but STP knew it wouldn't serve any purpose to do that, and it would allow me extra promo at no additional cost! They have a loyal customer for life in me! Ultimately opted for this service over places like Staples and UPS because (1) I wanted to support local and (2) saw great reviews online. They have locations in Stockton and Lodi. I didn't do foam board backing services and mounted my poster myself; the ink they used to print as well as the resolution they were able to get on the poster was significantly better than anything you could get at the retail companies above. I placed my order the day before and specifically asked if the balloons could be ready at a certain time because I was on a time crunch. I was told yes. So why agree to a pickup time if you're not going to have the order ready? Apparently, there is a serious lack of communication between employees at this store. What really irritated me was the employee working today telling me that they "don't normally do much when they first open in the morning." I'm sorry, but that's incredibly unprofessional and not really an excuse--especially when there were plenty of employees standing around. If a customer places an order ahead of time and your store commits to having it ready at a specific time, someone should make sure it gets done. I understand being busy. I understand things coming up. But this wasn't a last-minute order. It was ordered the day before, the pickup time was discussed and agreed upon, and I planned around that time. If you can't guarantee a pickup time, then don't tell the customer that you can. The lack of communication and the dismissive response made an already frustrating situation even worse. Very disappointing, especially because I've normally had good experiences at this location.
