First, our last order with DVD Copycat was in June of 2011 for 100 CDs. If we were such a problem client, common sense suggests he would have communicated this or tried to resolve it after that order was completed and paid for. He didn't. We were not contacted ever at all about any problem on any level with our orders. Not once. We were not told to find another vendor ever. Second, in August when I went back to DVD CopyCat for a reorder, we were not told by the salesperson that we she could not take or fill my our order due to problems in the past. Common sense suggests, we would have been told this at that time. We were not. The salesperson took my re order until she came back and said she didn't have the DVD cases in stock we needed and didn't have the authority to order them. When I spoke to Brian just a few weeks ago to re order another CD set, and he said he didn't want our business any longer, and couldn't clearly say why, I angrily said to him, it was us who should be letting him go, because of what happened last summer while he was on vacation and couldn't fulfill an order. He had no knowledge of this having happened. I guess his employees never told him. Last, what I stated is factually true. What Brian states is the usual unsubstantiated personal attacks of someone defensive and trying to divert the conversation from their own actions. We were not a problem client. We paid our bills on time. We provided all the artwork. We picked up our orders on time. We reordered products. I would love to have more clients like that! We have had relationships with the same duplicating and printing vendors going back into the mid 1990s. And, Brian also states that he sent back all our artwork and masters many months ago because he no longer wanted our business. I have no record of this and can not find those items anywhere in our office, I have no email stating this was being done. I honestly wonder if Brian does not have us confused with another business.

Once in a blue moon, a company surpasses my expectations. When I first contacted Circle Video from…read moresearching online, I explained I had a fairly extensive video editing project and was under a very tight deadline. I was new to the Bay Area and had nothing more to go on than my first impressions over the phone. I explained that the project would involve three distinct "phases" requiring precise syncing to a soundtrack on specific musical beats, fast cut edits (3 seconds or less) with faultless transitions of over 150 photos into a 3-minute soundtrack, and setting multiple video clips to a timed soundtrack, balancing audios to enhanced voice-over-sound. I had a very special objective in mind. My stepdaughter was out of state at college, and I learned that she had a falling out with her dad. I knew she missed him, because they had always been very close. I was determined to find a way to remind her of all the happy times she had with him, and me, as a very special 19th birthday gift. The finished project was envisioned to be a time capsule of her life, through pictures put to a special piece of music, from birth to high school graduation. Part of the gift would be delivery of a 32" HDTV and DVD player for her to watch the video on. So this was a project that would demand a professional video production company. My first impressions of James over the phone were that he understood what I wanted, and I felt comfortable that he had the ability to complete the work. I liked the fact that he could schedule studio time right away so we could get started. I knew exactly what I wanted the finished product to look like, and so he suggested I sit in to provide direction as he edited. The session was long and very focused, but James never tired. He was friendly, attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable in his craft. Within days, James had completed my project for pickup. A week later, my phone rang. It was my stepdaughter who tearfully thanked me for her birthday gift. I knew the tv was not causing her tears. It was something else. I asked how she liked the video. She said all her friends had watched the 14-minute video and they were all blown away! And then she got quiet for a moment, choking back emotion. I waited. She said, "Mom, I called dad. After watching the video a few times, I realized we need each other." Rarely have I written a review because I'm almost never satisfied with customer service or results. But this is one company that truly met and exceeded my expectations. I can truly say James and Circle Video are outstanding! I would not hesitate to use their services again (and already am working on our next project) -- and I highly recommend James. He got the project done -- the way I wanted it, within the deadline I needed it! A father and daughter have been reunited. Mission accomplished! It just doesn't get any better than that! Our league is rather small and informal, and our team would be the only ones with proper bowling shirts. Even still I wanted ours to be awesome. Michael is a 1st class professional. He always promptly returned my calls. Even though I'm sure this job was just a side project for him, he made me feel like I was his number 1 priority. He designed a few different graphics, and listened to my input. Then came up with a final image that I loved. When I submitted the graphic to the shirt company, they told me it was one of the best they had ever seen. Only about half of our team ordered shirts, but when the finished product arrived people were so impressed that we placed 2 more orders. The entire league was wishing they had shirts as cool as ours. There is a lot that goes into graphic design, more than just artistic talent and an ability to draw. Michael is a virtuoso in every aspect.
