I can't show up to work and people say "whoa chick, what happened to your face!", so subtle-ish and on point services was what I was going for and have received thus far. All of the staff I have interacted with are wonderful. Friendly, warm, non-judgey and knowledgeable about their craft. The offices are clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would totally recommend checking them out, they offer a lot of other "refreshing variants" (my code word for this) and are a wonderful group.

I learned about MM when I met a staff member, Jenny, at a local resort and she convinced me to come see what they were all about. Initially I was hesitant, but only because it's a 30 minute drive from my house. After not being completely satisfied at another place, I figured why not? First thing I love: Melisa and her staff are SO nice. Every single person is professional, caring, kind, helpful, and well educated. Second thing I love: Melisa takes pride in what she does and is incredibly talented. I've received multiple rounds of botox, multiple rounds of lip filler, and many lipo-b12 shots. I've never loved my results more. Melisa truly listens to you without judgment, respects what aesthetic goals you have, and, most importantly, she delivers beautiful results. Third thing I love: MM is very competitive price-wise. Although the "regular" prices are similar to other med spas, every month they run specials, and they aren't pushy about upselling. Unlike other med spas, I never feel pressured to buy anything. Melisa and her team are always honest in advising me which packages/products would work for me, and not selling me things that are unnecessary. Fourth thing I love: You can buy products and service packages and keep them in your "wallet" for future use. This included breaking things into partial usages! For example, MM ran a filler syringe special that made certain products very affordable. During one visit, I used 1/2 of a syringe in my lips, and was able to keep the other 1/2 in my "wallet". Of all the med spas I've ever been to, this has NEVER been an option...it's always an all-or-nothing requirement, which has never been desirable to me. All my b12 shots have been part of a package, and I just purchased a package for laser hair removal. Oh! And there was a flash sale for IPL treatments, so I sent them a message on Instagram (seriously) and they charged me, added it to my wallet, and I can schedule whenever I want. Then Kelly comes out and says I upset her front desk lady, lol i told her well I'm upset too, after explaining to her what had happened, she was completely rude and told me "don't ever argue with her staff again" lol not yell but argue ! so much for the Customer being right at this place! I could have dealt with all of that! But the kicker is after all of that she finally says that she's gonna take $300 off of my service, BUT only ends up taking 100 off I was charged $799. I'm like fuck it ! I don't even wanna call this place ever again! I thought it would be crowded and I might have to wait, since it was a Friday but I was seen quickly. The facility is decorated with images of Marilyn Monroe and is very pretty, but the waiting area is heavily perfumed with air freshener or potpourri. I have a respiratory condition and I am uncomfortably sensitive to scents; I had to wait on the bench outside. My injector, Mayra, was young and has been doing this for only a year (I always ask because I inquire about their experience with the needles and the procedures.) She said she used to work for and was trained by a cosmetic surgeon. Despite her youth and relative inexperience, she was skilled in administering. Instead of Botox, Mayra suggested a similar neurotoxin product called Jeuveau, which is slightly more effective than Botox, and less expensive, because they were offering a special. I had it injected at both my 11s on the forehead and the crows feet near the eyes. I have not noticed a difference using neurotoxin around the eyes (twice elsewhere) before, but figured I'd try again, since it was a new facility and a new product. I have strong forehead muscles and I often need maximum units to get the desired result. I received 9 units at the crows feet near each eye, and 24 units on my forehead. It has been a week and I am pleased with the natural yet noticeable results. My eyes look more "open" and my forehead is improved. Mayra said if I can still significantly wrinkle my brows in 2 weeks to come back to touch it up. I might consider other skin care procedures here.

And that is exactly the feeling that you get when you go in there. The front desk are armed with their Apple computers and hidden behind the screens. They are not very sensitive to esoteric needs. What do i mean? In an effort to coordinate this i was in contact via text. I was trying to figure out who it was that i was conversing with. The person began using abbreviations like "FD" where i had to clarify what she meant; and it was "Front Desk". The place is a bit hard to find and I had to call for coordinates and was rifled off "commands" as to how to get there which was memorized in the presenters mind but not really intuitve. Like she just wanted to "get it out of her system" without regard for whether someone would be able to understand. These are signs to me of what is in store. So when I got there i was given a computer to fill out an inordinate amount of forms. No sooner did i get the ipad that the battery went out. But who wants to fill out all this information on an ipad where there is not a desk; you are just kind of struggling with the keys as you sit in a waiting room chair. Like it doesn't lend itself to use for this purpose because there is not support for the ipad to stay on your lap. If its on your lap you can't really use the keyboard do you see what i mean? Then I went into the bathroom and saw the heaping trash. These are things that people see; we don't care how dainty Carrie says that she is. Then they put me in a treatment room with a towel or fur comforter that looked dirty. The table wasn't adjusted at all and i sat and sat and sat and sat until i walked out. That was my experience. For me its not a place for guys. But again dare i say that these actressess might want to consider some of what i say. But they won't; I can see that as clear as day. They are set in their ways. It is his fault you see. They will falter and falter to the point of ad nauseum. As long as the facade of the Apple computers at the front desk are fired up and ready to go; that is all that matters. The show must go on. Thats all.
