My niece enjoyed the fried catfish basket and oh my.... It was a huge scrumptious serving! This was a very pleasant surprise and I never would have found this gem in Globe without Yelp! I've been trying to eat healthier recently when traveling. It's all too easy to get a meal that's quick, easy but mediocre in taste and quality. This joint had everyrhing from burgers to fish! This joint rocks! I got the Cajun catfish sandwich. Notice how HUGE it is! The seasoning has just enough spice and the fish was so tender i actually had to fork and knife part of it. The tenderness and flavor were spot on and for a side I got the salad...Ala Seinfeld it was a HHHUUGGEE SALAD! Nicely cut onions; small enough to actually eat. Can't stand uncut rings in my salad. This place has them diced nicely. Good croutons and 1k isle dressing too. Wifey had the Cajun chicken sandwich. Spices were the same as catfish. Both arrived so piping hot it was a nice touch! A little BBQ sauce on the bun made it a perfect sandwich! Both kids' meals were nicely received. The grilled cheese was served on multi grain bread but a very non threatening easy to eat version & very nicely toasted. The mac and cheese was elbow style although they can make it with penne like the mac and cheese side dish with entrees. There's 7$ Stella & Anchor steam 22 oz bottles on the menu! No draft beers but a very good selection of wine, beer and full bar too! Great service, food and location so hopefully this place will still be here when next i visit Globe! read more

My husband and I love driving highway 60 Arizona to i25 New Mexico. So finding this little gem, was a welcome surprise. Grilled shrimp, an ample side salad, and fried okra was a treat. Husband enjoyed pork chops with mushroom cream sauce, again fried okra! Everything was delicious, cooked and served by the friendly wait staff. Cute place, clean and inviting. This place is popular! It was quiet when we got there at 5:00, but by the time we were leaving, it was filled with families and couples. The place is clean and comfortable. It's got a small bar area and a few TVs. The menu is fairly extensive, and there were lots of daily specials on the board as we came in. We ordered the spicy buffalo cauliflower bits on special. They were great. And because they were down to the last bits - it wasn't a full order, so they did not charge us. So the servings must be huge, because what they gave us was the right size for an appetizer. In retrospect, we should have ordered something different for dinner that would show off their culinary skills. As it was, I got the fish and chips and my husband got the chicken fingers. We thought about upgrading to onion rings, but my husband will only eat fresh made onion rings, and theirs were frozen. It was clear that the fish, chicken and sweet potato fries were all the frozen varieties and not house made. What they cooked was fine, and cooked properly, but just not house made. I love my sauces, so I was thrilled that they gave me tartar sauce, seafood sauce and a remoulade sauce with my fish. Plus the ranch for the cauliflower, and honey mustard for the chicken. Bottom line - the service was great, the food was decent. Next time, I will ask the server to recommend something they make in-house so we can really give them a good rating. read more

We went in to try their new breakfast. We cannot review the food because we never were served. We were given menus and served our drinks, after which they never came back to take our food order. We waited 15 minutes and finally paid for the mediocre coffee and left. Disappointed and not likely to try again. read more

I had the Friday night special of Prime Rib and it was the best prime rib that I have ever had. The fries that came with it were really good too. Several people in my group had the fish and they all said it was great. Will be going back on Friday very soon. read more

Don't expect iceberg lettuce in your BLT, but there was a good amount of bacon. The Turkey Bandito was good. Nothing to brag about.

We came into Globe for a hike. Our 1st choice restaurant was closed; second choice was outside dining with no facilities. Copper Bistro was our after hike choice but decided to go a day ahead instead. So glad we did! Started our meal with mike high chocolate cake. From burgers, scampi and homemade meat sauce with spaghetti hit the spot. Food was great, wait staff was a team operation in this busy local joint. Food was good but.... the prices listed on their website are 30% lower than what they actually charge. I found this out by calling in a to go order then when I picked it up the price was way more than what I expected. They acknowledged that their prices are incorrect on their website and they refused to honor them. Its a shame because the food is good but now I will never go back. They seem perfectly okay with falsely advertising their price, then surprising you with a bill thats 30% more. read more

So-so food, iffy often rude service in a not too very clean setting--Who can ask for more?!? After waiting almost 15 minutes for my requested-with-order extra onions and a refill, I went to the bar to ask for both. Charlene let me know she did not appreciate the temerity of my request by telling me she was busy. She reinforced this by throwing a plate of onions on the table making it rock, skid and clatter before huffing away like a winded cow leaving me with a cold, soggy burger and a less than satisfying experience. We enjoyed it enough that we came back again. The first time we were there it was about 4:30pm, dinner doesn't start until 5pm so we decided to order a few apps and wait for dinner. It was kind of slow at the time but it picked up right after 5pm. They'll stick to that 5pm starting dinner time and won't even let you order before it's time. Right on the dot at 5pm here comes the waitress ready to order out dinner. All of their apps were fried we went with zucchini sticks, mac 'n cheese bites, and fried green beans. They weren't that bad, the mac 'n cheese was the tables favorite but not me just because I didn't grow up on the stuff. It did seem like it was made from the actual crafts mac 'n cheese or something similar. If you have to call in advanced and set up an RSVP it looked like they turned down the po po group that were trying to come in for lunch. Attire in general is very casual in Globe, and those that are looking for more upscale dining without all the fuss will leave happy. The ribeye I had was very good- it had a nice grilled flavor and was nicely cooked to order. I also tried some of the pork tenderloin, which had nice seasoning and was very tender.
