This is my second time having them out since we bought our house. The first time was 5.5 years ago,…read morewhich was 4 years after we bought it. This time was after a fairly large slab leak, where we are noticing part of the house seems to have maybe lifted a tiny bit. Both times, they were easy to schedule with. They had the soonest availability and just made it simple. Both times, they came out and did a comprehensive inspection at no cost and gave me the readout. Both times, they did not try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. The first time, we did not really have any issues. This time, he did say part of the house was higher a little bit, but that it should settle on its own in a few months and that they would come back out and check it again at that time. I appreciate that they do not try to find BS to try to charge you for when you don't need it. It's a good strategy because I will always trust them, and when there is eventually an issue, I am sure I will have them take care of it.

I would recommend this company and this worker if you need any foundation repair work done for your house!

Not only was he honest but even provided us with a person who does the type of work that we'll need for our house. Didn't use this company but would definitely recommend it!

If they had done that it would have wrecked the plumbing not to mention that I would be left to repair the flooring. Recently, one side of the house started to sink again. I called Ryan with Firm Foundation to help us with a retaining wall. We were wanting it put up…read moreafter finishing our backyard pool project. My husband, whose family is in the masonry business, was skeptical before meeting with him. But boy oh boy did Ryan know what he is talking about. My husband was convinced our side yard which was a pretty steep "hill" could not be flattened out, which is what I wanted. We were building a pool and have 2 boys that needed a place to run and that side yard was all we had left after putting that pool in. Ryan came up with an amazing plan. And we were both so happy with how that yard and wall turned out. Simply stunning! The pool company was terrible and wasn't really willing to work with Ryan and his schedule. But Ryan was very patient with us and them. They kept pushing back the finish date. Which annoyed all of us, but Ryan never made us feel bad about it as it was not our fault. Oh and the pool company literally had no drainage plan except to put pop ups that would flow into the neighbors yard, which we were not ok with. And that was after begging for months to talk to us about the drainage. We asked Ryan if that's something they work with and he had a really great plan to us in just a few days. Needless to say we fired the pool company from the drainage portion of the project and that was the best decision we could have made. There have been zero problems with our drainage. Like nothing at all! It works perfectly everytime. And we never have to worry about that. And all the water gets directed straight to the curb and runs into the street, not our yard or the neighbors yards. The wall in the backyard that goes all the way to the front is gorgeous. When we ran into a potential problem with the last front portion of the wall, Ryan and his guys actually talked to us about it and we all made a decision together on the best move forward. It was such a nice change to have an owner of a company talk to us and work through a potential issue together. Unlike the pool company. (I do wish Ryan was in the pool business. If he was I know we would not be having the problems that we are having that pool company and trying to fix their mistakes.). But Ryan and his company delivered and went above and beyond what was necessary for a job. To summarize, if you need work on something that Ryan and his guys work on, hire them immediately!! They may not be the most affordable, but goodness you will not have any issues and that is worth its weight in gold!! They are worth every penny!! And in case you are wondering about his crew, they are totally awesome!!! Not only are they artists and I would say perfectionists in the best possible way, they were all very personable. They even allowed my boys to "help" which made them feel included and part of the project. I have never been happier with a house project in my life.

Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures. Thanks for the time and professionalism.

Groundworks prides themselves as being a national corporation, therefore the leading provider of foundation repairs, but do not fall for that. Because of their size, you will be sidelined, stalled and basically lied to, just to get you to sign. I was promised the moon.. and basically got "mooned " by all the people who passed the buck. I'd been told my work was canceled over a week ago, and only yesterday did I find out, from the new Sales Manager at their Irving office that my order was finally canceled as of NOW and a refund was finally being processed, and the sales manager himself called me only after I began threatening a charge back. I had to wade through several rude office people, one who actually hung up on me, etc. If you need repairs, pick a local contractor. Stay away from Groundworks, because indeed, they will work YOU over. And by the way, we are still waiting for our refund Wendy!!

When the signs finally appeared, I did what most people do -- I researched companies with strong reviews, a long track record, and real experience with North Texas soil. After narrowing it down to three reputable companies, I had each come out to evaluate my home and explain what they believed was necessary. Out of all of them, Heath from Texas Foundation Experts stood out immediately. His hands‑on experience, clear reasoning, and ability to explain why certain repairs were needed gave me confidence that he truly understood the problem and how to fix it. From the very first call, the team at TFE made the process easier. Katy, the General Manager, was knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient as I explained my concerns. When Heath arrived, he was both confident and reassuring -- a combination that matters when you're facing a major home repair. His proposal was thorough, his price was competitive, and the company's reviews backed up everything I was seeing firsthand. Looking back, choosing Texas Foundation Experts was one of the best decisions I've made as a homeowner. The work they performed reflected exactly what they promised: professionalism, transparency, and genuine expertise. Foundation issues can be stressful, especially for someone new to Texas, but TFE turned a daunting situation into a smooth, well‑managed experience. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone dealing with foundation concerns.
