Copeland's is the local go-to place for fishing supplies, hunting, etc. I've used them over the past few years for bait and lures on my fishing trips.
But, recently used them for their transfer service as a FFL for a gun purchase. The gentleman who waited on me was a bit dry and seemed slightly annoyed to have to process the transfer. They are quite steep with their charge of $45 to do a transfer (sadly I did not inquire prior, never thinking they would not be reasonable). I learned afterwards there are other FFL's in the area that charge $15 to $25... so, I will be using them in the future. But when it comes to fishing, I will continue to use Copeland's. It's a convenient place, but I think they need to lower their price for a gun transfer... the process is the same no matter where you go, so if others charge less, they should too. read more
