The store is fairly large, well kept, organized, clean and easy to navigate with sections clearly defined. In addition to a wide variety of apparel consisting of all the well known beach/outdoor brands, they have a plethora of Ron Jon specific items from shorts, shirts, hats and more. Additionally, as expected, they have a corner of the store dedicated to all things surfing and skateboarding. This area offers a solid selection of pre-fab boards along with skim boards and boogie boards. And of course all the accessories that go along with it. Prices are fair and surprisingly so given the name brand and location in Pier Park. The store offers a great photo op with surfboards at their front entrance, but if you are already in Pier Park, you can access the store via a back entrance as well. Staff are always plentiful, helpful and friendly. Overall, Ron Jon is a solid spot and always a cool place to wander through when roaming around Pier Park.

On my way out the front door the store security alarm went off security made me turn around and return to check out where security rifled through my purchases only to find the dumb a** cashier forgot to remove an alarm tag. Did I get an apology? Hell no the manager just said "oh he's new" as if that was a valid excuse. This is how they treat paying customers so I would advise shopping elsewhere. No excuses for this kind of behavior especially from someone in management. It was embarising to be searched in front of all the customers checking out. I'm mortified.

Drove directly there and upon arrival, they had sold 1, promised another to a customer who was on their way, and mine. $900 later, I had the AC in the back of my truck headed east to install it before it got dark. Installed with some help from fellow campers in the resort we were at and it was awesome to feel the cold air again. Thanks Pensacola CW for making our next 10 days, great, in the panhandle of Florida. Their service and parts department were great to work with and their cashiers didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. Make the drive, you won't be disappointed! PS. Visit the DeSantis/Trump store just up the road, it's worth the trip all by itself!

The online store has great inventory & good prices, but they should be ashamed of their customer service. Real people are not available (only the chatbot). The chatbot can connect you to a real person (via chat only) but the real people don't work weekends, and they only "open a ticket" for your issue. Nobody ever got back to me about the ticket I opened. I was ignored. I placed an order online of around $5k, and a significant portion of that order arrived incorrect - missing parts where it says the part was delivered - double counting/delivery (& double charging) of other items - item descriptions that are misleading (chairs that claim to ship with mounting hardware but arrive with nothing). The online store also made a big mistake with my bank causing about $1900.00 of my money to be held by W.M. for 6 days after the order was cancelled. If I had a good alternative to W.M. with as large an inventory, I would not use W.M. at all. But I don't have another good option that I know of (yet), so I'm stuck with W.M. for now. I guess they know that, and that's probably why they don't care about good customer service.

After shopping the Panama City store several times over the past half dozen years or so, I'm confident that this one is above average for the chain. The store is always clean and well merchandised. The staff are visible, knowledgeable and most importantly, helpful. If you're a boater, you'll eventually need something from West Marine. They've got it all, from boat and trailer parts, electronics, safety gear, cleaning supplies, fishing gear, shoes and apparel, etc. I wish the prices were a bit more competitive, but that's boating!
