Closeby in the contractor world considering they serve Horsham and a few other local towns in the area. I spoke with Christy on November 2nd and discussed the work that I needed. A built-in wall cabinet needed to have some shelves replaced as well as the fascia and molding pieces. In addition the surrounding drywall and insulation needed to be replaced. Christy asked if I could send pictures of the area in question so they can get me a quote. I was immediately skeptical! During Covid I would expect this answer, but in 2023, it didn't make sense! Ok, I take pics and text them over to Christy before 12:30 PM on November 2nd. When we spoke, she also told me they could get me a quote in two days. Today is November 8th and since I had not received a quote, I sent a text to Christy asking....where is my quote. Then I called the office where I was rolled to voicemail. I left a message and moved on to other business. Kevin called me back and left a message saying, "That they couldn't help me and he was sorry that he did not call me sooner. It was his fault! Call back with questions!" I returned his call and he gave me the explanation that "They don't do any rehab carpentry or custom carpentry work. If you have something to assemble from Home Depot or Ikea, we could do that. What you need is a custom carpenter, that is not what we do." IT SAYS YOU DO CUSTOM CARPENTRY WORK ON YOUR WEBSITE!! It lists the following: You name it, we build it! Custom Trim Crown Molding Custom Woodwork Shiplap Railings & Staircases Wainscoting Wall Panelling Custom Lighting AM I CRAZY?! My first clue should have been the quote from pictures and not actually being hands on to survey the work. They have done a tremendous job for me. Outside my retaining wall was replaced, new steps and walkway, new storm door and new sliding door was replaced along with new railings and awnings. Everyone involved was always very polite, professional, hardworking, always on time. At the end of their work day they made sure to clean up and make it possible for us maneuver around. After all the outside work was completed I was so pleased, I had them take care of the inside upgrade. That included tearing up flooring, addressing the squeaks in the hardwood and installing a new floor throughout, looks beautiful. They installed a new backsplash and countertop in my kitchen. I kept my cabinets and the guys painted them, they also repaired a broken cabinet door and you'd never know it was broken, everything looks great. It was necessary to make upgrades to my electrical box, I now feel safe that was taken care of. The guys have a few things to finish up for me, which my son Drew was not aware of before he became upset about the railing he posted about. I know I can depend on George to handle them. I am so pleased beyond ecstatic with all the work George has done in my home, we have had a great working experience. The office administrator knew I was coming by. The work was to be performed (9/19) and I waited all day for them to show up. No one ever called to explain they were delayed or weren't coming at all until I emailed Cambrie in the evening. No courtesy call. After speaking to Cambrie on Monday (9/21) she made it clear that my repair work was not a priority to her and her company. I still needed the work performed so I asked her to keep in touch with me during the week as to when they are going to perform the work. On Tuesday (9/22) & Thursday (9/24) I received promises by their office that I would receive a phone call back from Cambrie. That never happened. Friday (9/25) I receive a letter indicating, "due to unforeseen circumstances" they are not going to do my job. This company has wasted about 6 weeks of my time. An inconvenience to say the least.
