can't say enough good things about my experience with JustDryBasement. From the very first phone…read morecall, everything was top-notch. I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

I also had further leaking in my basement that they said was guaranteed to be waterproof. And whose fault do you think that was - mine! Yep, they told me that I did not follow their advice on replacing a particular window sill. Do you think I would have paid what I did and not had the job done completely? Come on. I am really disappointed and even though I text the owner about the on-going issues, he never does anything. In fact, he sent one guy out, his main manager, to my house when this first happened and he started getting loud and blaming me. That's when I asked about the window. He had no response. I told him to leave. Unreal! I am graciously giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the general job that they did was decent, but the customer service was crap. On the follow-up to our first project with Mike and his team at Select Basement Waterproofing, we proceeded with the plan of waterproofing the basement and keeping moisture contained at a reasonable level. Everything from the initial estimate with Herb, to the last interaction with the crew was a pleasant experience and I am very happy with the results. They were courteous and quick, but never at the expense of their work. Anytime an unknown caused a snag the lead just happily told me not to worry because we know what we're doing and our only option is to do it right.
