The next morning at 8:30am I got a text from the office. They set up my service call for that morning at 9:00 and told me cost to inspect and determine what needed to be done. The Technician, Josh, showed up right on time and was here for about an hour inspecting and ruling out issues that I was concerned about. In the end all I was charged was the inspection fee and now I have both piece of mind and a pathway of what I need to do. Very happy with my experience because finding a trustworthy HAVC company can be very hard. Honest and true to their word; I highly recommend.

They came out the same day, gave me estimates for both repairing and replacing the system, and helped me weigh my options. Since my unit was 18 years old and had needed more service recently, I decided to replace it. Their team came out the next day and, even though I wasn't home, replaced the entire unit with an Amana variable-speed inverter AC unit and compatible heater in one long day. Dylon returned the following week for a quality-control check, and the system has been very quiet while keeping the humidity in the low 50s. I also really appreciate that live people in the office answer the phone--no bot. I highly recommend Comfort Masters for HVAC service.

When Service Still Means Something - Bates Heating and Air Sets the Standard…read more I want to take a moment to recognize what true customer service looks like, because unfortunately it has become rare. Bates Heating and Air in Granbury proved to me that it still exists. When I called them, I was convinced my pipes had frozen and I was facing a major problem. They responded promptly and professionally. After diagnosing the issue, I was told I would likely need a new coil. Instead of just selling me the repair, they did something that speaks volumes about their integrity -- they called the distributor to check the warranty first. That one extra step saved me a significant amount of money. The unit was still covered. They then quoted a very fair labor price, explained everything clearly, and made sure we would be protected as the Texas heat approaches. They even told me if the freon ever dropped, to call them and they would come right back. No runaround. No fine print. Just confidence in their work. Today Andy and Donny arrived with the replacement coil. Within about an hour, everything was installed and running perfectly. What impressed me most wasn't just their technical skill -- it was their attitude. Professional. Respectful. Efficient. Positive. The kind of people you actually feel comfortable having in your home. What makes this even more meaningful is something they did not know: I am currently battling cancer. Yet they treated me with a level of kindness, patience, and professionalism that genuinely made a difficult time a little easier. That kind of character cannot be faked. I have been in business long enough to know the difference between companies that just do a job and companies that build trust. Bates Heating and Air is the latter. I could call twenty HVAC companies in the Granbury area and I doubt any would leave me feeling as confident and well-taken-care-of as this team did. They didn't just fix our system -- they earned a customer for life. If you want honesty, skill, fairness, and old-school customer service that still believes reputation matters, Bates Heating and Air is the company you call. This is how business should still be done.

An item that we all take for granted till we have a problem, Heat and A/C, then it becomes a must…read more I recently tried to contact the company. AAIRCO [in Granbury], that installed my 3 units new and here is what happened to me, your experience may be different. Starting on 09-27 I called Mike. I called almost daily till 10/03 without ever getting a return call just voice mail. On 10/03 I drove into Granbury to their office and talked to Sandy [lady at office]. She was super nice, but not much help. 1st I got the speech that Mike cell is broken. A week without a telephone or not even forwarding his cell to the office [carrier could have forwarded it] is not really good business practice but explains why I got VM for a week. She could NOT FIND my files on my THREE-unit installation. She was going to keep looking, but as of today, the 12th [9 days], I have heard nothing. Guess my file will be lost forever. Again, she was nice and took my information and would give it to Bobby who actually did the installation. On the 7th, 4 days later, I again heard nothing from AAIRCO, so I called to see why not. ??? Well to close this out - on Thursday I called another Babiash A/C and by Friday, the very next day, it was addressed and fixed. I am sure AAIRCO has reasons for not getting back to a customer on one of their 3 installed units from 09/27 to 10-10, 13 days, but as a customer, I cannot think of one acceptable excuse. Just my experience, might even have good experiences from others.

Anyone who has tried to endure a Texas summer knows that air conditioning ranks among the absolute…read morenecessities. A few feet of copper tubing, a few pounds of freon and, as TXU will attest, a massive amount of electricity are all that separate cool comfort from sticky, sweaty, profanity-laced misery. So when the air goes from cool to warm to unbearable, it is critical to have a reliable repairman on speed dial, and that is where Daffan comes in. Their techs are knowledgeable and courteous, the management is highly proefessional, and their overall customer service experience is second to none. They may not be the cheapest service in town, but these guys do top notch work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and when you're sitting in a sweatbox of a house, with ceiling fans and box fans just pushing hot air around, the last thing you want is some half-ass patch job that will fail as soon as the joker leaves your house. They stand by their work and will keep coming back until the problem is solved. If you live in Granbury, you have undoubtedly seen one of their many trucks on the road, moving from disaster to disaster, saving people from their own houses. The next time you see one, jot down their number and keep it handy. That way, when your air goes out (and you know it will go out eventually), you know exactly who to call.
