    Great service. Fair price. Really nice guys. Fast. Cleaned up after themselves and helped me put stuff away. Would definitely recommend.

I called several AC companies and none got back to me…read more These folks got back to me within the same day, and sent someone to inspect the attic within 24 hours. They told me the inspector would be there between 9AM - 12PM. He was there at 9:01AM. He let me know that my ducts were BUSTED. Like really bad. Gaps everywhere, broken stuff. The "Miami special" he called it. Showed me videos of all the issues to verify what he was saying. Although at first I thought the quote they gave me was a bit on the higher end, after I saw everything they did I've changed my mind and think the quote was honestly very fair. They replaced all the ducts in my attic, hung them (they were lying on the floor before...), replaced all the vents, covered my entire house in plastic, added an air return to a bedroom, picked up all the debris when they were done, and did all that in just like 3-4 hours. Honestly these folks are incredible. Shoutout to Amit. Such a friendly and funny guy. He took the time to explain to me all the issues he was seeing and why they mattered. He was the first one in a line of guys to finally explain that the master bedroom was so hot (5+ degrees hotter than rest of the house) because it didn't have a return. Once they installed that it feels like I have a new house. I've never slept better.

    Purchased my home in April 2022 and a key selling point was a new RunTru by Trane package unit…read moreinstalled by Hi Vac not six months before. As it turned out, RunTru was more like RunNot. The unit had problems almost immediately after I moved in which continued through July of this year: frozen coils, leaks, multiple failed TXVs, failed blower motor...the list goes on. Hi Vac was utilized for each repair and I paid for the annual maintenance plan. Despite the ongoing issues including several long stretches with no cooling, growing costs once the labor warranty expired, and some hit or miss customer service experiences, I remained a loyal customer until this summer because they had great reviews and I like supporting family owned businesses. This May the unit had frozen coils (again) and I was told the TXV needed to be replaced (again) even though it was just replaced in December. Paid for that fix. A week later not cooling again. This time it was the capacitor. Paid for that fix. Then I woke up one morning in June to no cooling again. The coils were frozen over (again) and this time I was told there was a leak behind the coils but the part wasn't available in FL. They added coolant and told me that would last until the real fix. It lasted a day. Temperatures in my home reached 90F with 60% humidity. I was then informed that the needed part would take at least three weeks to be manufactured but they would send two portable ACs for use in the meantime. Great. When I went a week without cooling previously no such offer was made, so I was appreciative of this improvement. I was promised that the tech would set up the ACs and make sure the house was sealed up around the units. Should have known it was too good to be true. The ACs smelled like mold and I spent another two hours after the tech left actually sealing up my home because he left gaping holes exposed to outside with both set ups and I almost had a large lizard in my master bedroom. But the real final straw was the call with John in service earlier that day. As he explained the three week timeline, I asked if it didn't make more sense to consider a new unit given the ongoing poor performance of this unit. Instead of offering some sort of discount for a new unit or connecting me with sales to keep me with Hi Vac the response was "well, you know you'd have to come out of pocket for that." No kidding?! So I did just that with a different company in early July because it was clear that Hi Vac did not value me as a customer and was not interested in retaining any part of my business.

    On 9/24/2025, I called AirFresh at approximately 8:54 am and told someone that I needed maintenance…read morefor my ac and gave a brief description of the problem. I was told that someone would come out to my place between 2:30 and 4:30 to service the ac. At that time, I gave them my wife's number since I was at work and she would be at home waiting. At about 4:40, I text my wife to see if they have called or come by. She said, "No." I called AirFresh again, at approximately 4:41 pm to get an update. Someone told me that they would be contacting the technician and that someone would be calling me back. I again, gave my wife's number as I was at another job and not at home. At about 6:20, I ask my wife again, did someone call or come by. She again said, "No." I call AirFresh at 6:22 pm for a third time and speak with a different person that again states that they would be contacting a technician and that they would be getting back to me. I again provided my wife's number. We receive no calls, no one shows up, nothing. Our house is hot ALL day and ALL night long. I head to work the morning of 9/25/2025 and I receive no calls nothing from AirFresh....until I decide to call and want to cancel my yearly plan and to tell them not to send a technician. The person states that they would check with the billing department and get back to me. Someone FINALLY calls me back, is very apologetic, and states that AirFresh uses a calling service or something like that and that the service didn't know they were closed for the Jewish holiday. That's definitely understandable; however, for a service to receive multiple calls from the same person and for them not to return a call and at least say, "hey we can't get in touch with them." Or, "We know someone was supposed to come today, can they call you tomorrow?" Something. No communication and no show up is a HUGE problem for me. Customer service goes a looong way. So Pedro sent a text stating that I wouldn't be able to get a refund since one of the two maintenances had been completed. I ask to speak to the owner, Mendel. Pedro states that he is very busy. I ask him to tell him to give me a call when he's not busy. Pedro tells me that the best way to get in contact with him is to email him. I do and I include the terms and conditions which says absolutely nothing about not receiving a partial refund. That was on 9/25/2025 at 12:22 pm and I STILL have not heard from him. Since I paid my money for the entire year, I guess they figure they don't have to bother returning emails. Save your money and go with another company especially if you're thinking about the yearly maintenance plan.
