Had Air Magic come out and do a tune up on the AC in a condo I just purchased. Troy was the technician and he was on time, extremely polite and very professional. Took a few minutes after coming off the roof of my building and checking out the system to explain everything he saw even without me asking. I've dealt with a lot of HVAC companies over the years in many states (I'm in the real estate industry) and I will definitely give this company 5 stars. Not only was Troy great, but when I called to schedule the appointment the young lady who scheduled my appointment already had a lot of knowledge about my building and said they have serviced many units in my building for years. Pricing, is super reasonable. I signed up for an annual contract with them, and super happy I found this company. Living in South Florida, you hear horror stories all the time with different vendors/contractor but with this one, you immediately sense how genuine they are, and being honest and genuine go a long way with me. Calling in on a Friday we had a Technician at Our Home Early Monday Morning! Juvon Arrived 15 Mins before his 8AM Appointment Time being Extra Prompt! After Introductions and Explaining the Problem Juvon started his Work. He Explained his Call to Action and Immediately figured out the Solution. I sent a photo and measurement for a a/c drain pan and was quoted a price, then asked if she was sure. "Yes, we work that building all the time." I reiterated, it could be different. Nope. All ok. The wonderful tech showed up and states the pan is too small. "Oh, we won't charge to come back out, but the larger pan is more." Nice way to go business. The tech showed up with the correct pan an hour or so later. I get that it would have been more had they come to measure first. Time is money. It is other folks too. Not thorough, they don't do ductwork, and charged me the service visit fee with no report of the issues related to the problem, instead just repeated what I shared as an owner of suspected issues. Since I was asking for this inspection from three local companies, I was easily able to compare insights across the three visits. My AC wasn't cooling so I looked on NextDoor.com and got a recommendation for Air Magic. I called them and they were fully booked but squeezed me in the same day. Everton came out to service my AC and I made the decision, once he diagnosed the problem, to get a new AC instead of sinking money into an old AC, well past its estimated life. Everton was very professional and personable. He quoted me on a new, affordable unit, etc. Since it would be about a week before they could install the new unit, Everton replaced the broken part. Joe and Xavier came the next week to do the install. Both men were very professional and worked diligently to get the job done. They arrived on time and stayed with the install until it was completed. From Lynn, whom I spoke to on my initial call, through to the completion of the install and appointment for the city inspection, everyone at Air Magic was very professional, punctual and friendly. As put by the owner, the first invoice was not a mistake in any way, the reason it wasn't processed was because I paid by check and they cancelled before it was cashed. Why? Because I called and complained about being charged for the second visit, when they say it would be free due to their tech not being able to figure anything out.(The tech himself said the follow up was free.) Somehow the "free" visit cost $290 for the tech to show up and install $25 worth of parts. We just had the entire system replaced, if you could have managed to operate in an honest fashion, you would have gotten the business. read more

Today we realized our air conditioning was out and it's 91 outside. We weren't sure if anyone could come at the last minute on Friday. While considering some 15% deal from another place and thinking it's probably a scam, we chose Air Magic. Mark came out and was very helpful. I have been using Air Magic for at least 5 years and have had great service every time... Most owners in my complex use them as well. I had a problem with my air conditioner during the heat of summer and called in panic and was told that they were booked up for the day (which was a Friday) but they would try to work me into their schedule if possible... Do not do business with this company. They do not know what they are doing. I have a 3 year old high end system which I needed move to get equipment in my back yard. The techs did not disconnect the machine right and broke the unit. They decided that the compressor was bad, and still could not get the unit working again for 2 days until a "master" could come out and got it fixed within a few minutes.. I only wanted the machine moved, instead what I got was a huge bill , and no a/c for a few days. the only good thing I have to say about this company is that they showed up right on time, unfortunately they could not get the job finished as I was told. read more

Air Magic was my knight in shining armor this past week. My parents were due for a visit and the night before they were arriving I came home from work and discovered the ACTUAL unit would not turn on. Nothing but silence. Everton, the friendly technician, was out the first thing next morning. First thing he did was check the electrical breaker and panel outside my house. I had checked the inside breaker panel before calling for service and it had seemed ok.I did not know there was an additional electrical box outside. He flipped on the breaker and the actual unit started up immediately. He additionally checked out the entire unit to maybe determine what might have caused the issue but couldn't find anything. He instructed me to keep an eye on the system and if it happened again to call him back. It has been a week now and everything seems fine. He could have ripped me off with some inflated bill (like my last actual company) but he was honest and forthright. Just moved into a new home a couple of months ago and one morning woke up and water is dripping from 2nd floor AC unit through floor and into ceiling of 1st floor utility room. Yikes. Not knowing who to call I called my Dad and he recommended this comany as the owner was a member of my Dad's church and had fixed his AC before. It is rare when you recognize a company as totally amazing. With the hurricane only a day or two away, my air-conditioning failed. While everybody else had closed up shop early, Air Magic came to my rescue! Not only did they send out a very competent technician, but they also, with very short notice, were able to obtain a new motor that my unit needed.
