I found Cool-Off on the internet. I gave them a call and David was super helpful. Very knowledgeable and shipping was super prompt. Th system was easy to install and with our extreme heat in the Las Vegas area, the system performs extremely well. It makes our back patio bearable and we have begun using it a lot. Dave and his team were very helpful!

Love the system we got, makes the summer days much nicer in the backyard. David was great about sending replacement parts. Local installer Rob was superb to work with. Overall couldn't be happier.

    Corroded circuit board

At one point this may have been a great company with reliable, made-in-America products. The first misting system I purchased from them many years ago gave me over 10 years of reliable, trouble free misting action, with great customer service. Since then, I feel obligated to report that both the product and the customer service have gone abysmally downhill. When the original unit I bought stopped functioning one year ago, I bought a replacement high pressure system that turned out to be a total lemon. It never worked from the start, and after several months of complaints with the owner, I was sent a new 1000 psi pressure unit that was billed as the "ultimate misting system." It worked great initially with indeed a very nice mist. But after 50 hours, this unit also stopped working. I was able to reach technical support and they give me a few suggestions for trouble shooting. When I looked inside the unit, I was surprised to see that the circuit board was completely corroded. I called the support line over a dozen times but no one ever returned my phone calls. Multiple emails to their support line also went unreturned. Now I am stuck with a corroded, completely useless piece of junk. And the company simply just does not care. While I can accept the fact that mechanical systems sometimes fail, what is unacceptable to me is that a company can care so little about its customers, that they repeatedly ignore their request for service and help. I will never buy a product from them again, and I would urge anyone considering to do so to be very careful.

He provided all the necessary details and really the product and the reviews speak for themselves. Saw a budget system in Lowe's and after experiencing a low psi pump, the decision was clear that we needed something professional, like you see at restaurants. Who knew that the quality of mist mattered? All of Fuller's pumps are 1000 psi I believe and produces a high quality mist that is atomized at a rate where it does not give you shower and evaporates right about 2 feet from the floor or knee level. This meant that my patio floor wasn't wet which could easily create a safety issue for some, depending on the flooring type. The metal tubing is color matched to your home's paint and is professionally bent to tuck against the house so it isn't an eyesore and looks to be a part of the home. Granted our install wasn't large, but the crew was fast and efficient, further validating the overall high quality product. During the middle of summer, we were cruising under our patio where it would normally be 100+ degrees and our guests were kept happy and comfortable. If it isn't windy, the mist creates a curtain, enclosing our patio in a way and drops the temperature 10 - 20 degrees easily. Don't get me wrong, the price isn't for everyone and can cause your jaw to drop but if you spend a lot of time outside in the summer or want to utilize your backyard space more like us, let me tell you that it is/was worth it. Save yourself the trouble and heartache of going with a budget system only to be disappointed by getting soaked. Buy once, cry once...haha. Other pro's of the system is that it has its own 3 stage filtration, the company is local, they can service if there's issues along with a winter and spring service (at additional costs) I believe to vacuum the lines in case you're worried about the pipes potentially freezing/bursting/breaking and to get you summer ready! Lastly, we can expand our system if we want to extend when we add a pergola over our uncovered, paved backyard area.

He was patient, professional, and never once made me feel like my concerns were a burden. Having worked with him on multiple occasions, I can confidently say he consistently demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service. Well done, Cristofer! Making an appointment and getting a technician out here was fairly easy. The technician was polite…read moreand dressed appropriately. The part that didn't feel to well with me was when we started talking about the repairs. I was given 3 options of repairs, of course they go up in price for each one. The least expensive option was adding an Easy Start $1700, the second was a new compressor $4600, the third was a whole new unit which is what was pushed every other word. For instance, option $1700 "We can try that one, but, you know, it may not work and we can guarantee that it will and you'll be out that money. Then we would switch to he getting a sales person out to quote me for a whole new unit. To cut this part of this review short, I went with the $1700 option of adding the EZ start. Took less than 20 to complete and I was up and running with 66 degree air coming from my vents. I was happy it worked, paid, said thank you while dodging "you sure you don't want me to get a sales person to quote you for a new unit" questions every chance possible. After he left I started thinking and wanted to check how much this should have costs. So I asked chat GPT "How much is an easy start for an ac compressor to install in Las Vegas" And this is what I was told. "If you were charged $1,700 just to replace an EasyStart (soft-start) device, that price is far above what I'd normally expect unless there was significant additional work involved. Here's a rough breakdown of what's typical: * EasyStart device: $350-$450 * Labor: $150-$300 (sometimes up to $500 if it's after-hours or a difficult installation) * Expected total: $500-$800 in most cases A $1,700 bill would generally only make sense if it included things like: * Replacement of a capacitor or contactor * Compressor diagnostics * Refrigerant work * Emergency/after-hours service * Membership plans, warranties, or other bundled services What you can do 1. Review the invoice carefully. Look to see exactly what parts and labor you were billed for. 2. Call the company and ask for an itemized explanation. A polite approach works best: "I was reviewing my invoice and noticed the total was $1,700 for replacing the EasyStart. Can you explain the breakdown of parts and labor? From what I've researched, this seems significantly higher than typical." 3. Get a second opinion. If another licensed HVAC company reviews the invoice and says it's excessive, that gives you leverage. 4. If you believe you were misled, you can: * Ask to speak with the service manager or owner. * Request a partial refund or price adjustment. * If they refuse and you believe there was deceptive conduct, you can file a complaint with the Nevada State Contractors Board and the Better Business Bureau. A few questions that would help me assess it: * Was the $1,700 only for replacing the EasyStart, or did it include diagnosing the problem and other repairs? * Was this a residential central AC? * Do you have a copy of the invoice? If you upload a photo, I'll go through every line and tell you whether the charges are reasonable or if anything stands out as excessive. If the invoice truly says "replace EasyStart" with no other major work, I'd be very concerned about that price. I can help you evaluate it line by line." If you read some of the other reviews you'll notice the same from other costumers.

We proceeded with the job without asking for a second opinion (big mistake) but also assumed we will not have issues for a while. Well this summer that compressor failed. I had forgotten about hvac connection (I have been using different companies for small jobs since) but after three different companies told me the compressor is not working I realized it was still under warranty, so they advised to call who installed it. I called hvac connection, they came out and initially I did not mention someone else had looked and checked the units (upstairs and downstairs). After the first check they informed me the unit upstairs is failing and needs to be replaced. They can try fixing it for about $550 but if that doesn't work, it will cost me 4-5k to replace the unit. At this moment, I thought something was fishy - I mean, the unit had just been checked by literally three companies. So, I informed him I don't think that is the issue as different techs came out and confirmed the unit up is just fine and the compressor is dead. At this point, the answer was "yes. The compressor doesn't sound good either". They went ahead and did a "warranty replacement" that cost me $600 for labor (20 min worth of labor). After all this, the AC is still not working and the tech proceeds to tell me "he told me this would not fix my issue" and asked for the payment for the labor. At this point, I asked them to leave the old compressor because I want to confirm with the manufacturer the unit that was replaced (at this point, I don't even know if they used a new compressor for the warranty etc) - the tech told me if I want to keep that I need to pay an extra $500 because he needs to return the warranty to the manufacturer and I needed to cover its cost if I wanted to keep it (please note, how the cost is less than what I was charged for labor for a warranty). I then had a different company come look at the unit. Once again it was confirmed the upstairs unit is just fine (and as a matter of fact, it is working for months at this point for heat). However, he said the compressor is badly installed, the old filter was left inside, and there is a connection to some pipe that was not done correctly. He quoted the entire job at 1000 as there's apparently a lot of cleaning up to do after a poor job I then let hvac connection know I have a report from a different company with a summary of all the errors and how there is an extra filter left inside and there are multiple issues with the installation). They said they would come out again "in a few weeks" because they were so busy to fix it and disappeared. I then contacted them again and they promised a refund via check and told me to use someone else. And if the new compressor is problematic anyone else with a license would be able to fix it (because all hvac companies out there cannot wait to come and clean up messes made by unprofessional companies). I agreed however - at this point I want nothing to do with them. A month later, still no refund. I went ahead and filed a chargeback and did get the money back, but it was such a nightmare. They clearly try to upsell and replace units that can be repaired and it doesn't look like they know what they are doing when they replace the unit either. I would NEVER use them again - they are not honest and they did an extremely poor job.
